He stared at me, his green eyes bore into mine as if searching for an answer to an unasked question.
He cracked a smile, the warmth hit me, and in that moment it was the safest I had felt in a while. The scar on his face shimmered in the light and his eyes seemed to dance with excitement.
He pointed at himself, then crossed his arms over his chest. Then pointed at me.
