The white walls and the big wooden desk were not giving Taehyung any comfort. He had been sitting in that dull room for an hour now. Waiting for the doctor to tell him something about the tests they had conducted on him since morning. Taehyung was not scared of the results though. He was more concerned about keeping whatever the doctor had to tell him a secret from his family.
The boy sighed in relief when the doctor finally entered the room with a file in his hand. The middle aged man greeted him with a smile and sat down at the table. "I'm Han Hyunsik. It's nice meeting you Mr. Jeon." the doctor said. Taehyung just nodded his head and gave a small smile. He was not in the mood to talk to a stranger and that too a Doctor who was probably going to drop an atomic bomb on him. "Ummm. Is there something you want to tell me Mr. Jeon? Anything about your health?" the doctor asked looking right into the boy's eyes.
Hearing the question Taehyung took a deep breath. "My pacemaker muscles have been weak since I was born. The pacemaker is capable of controlling my heart beat but too much work or stress makes the heart unstable." he said softly. "Also one year ago.... " he gulped a little remembering that day. "I had a heart attack because of that."
The doctor nodded his head listening to the boy. "Taehyung you have Arrhythmia but that's not what you have to worry about. The heart attack has killed quite a large part of your cardiac muscles. In simple words your heart is in a bad condition. You'll need a transplant." Hyunsik was straightforward with his words. He didn't like to sweet talk his patients even if he did feel bad for them.

Even now he thought that Taehyung would have an emotional outburst but when he saw the boy's small smile he was taken aback. "How much time do I have?" Taehyung's voice brought him back from his surprised state. "Don't worry if you take care of yourself then you can go on with your own heart for two to three years. It could have been more but your heart is already weak Taehyung so the best option is to have a transplant. We don't know when your pacemaker muscles may give up. It's a miracle that they are still working without any medical support." Hyunsik stated as a matter of fact.
Taehyung just nodded his head and got up to leave. "Please keep it a secret for now. I'll tell my family whenever it is the right time." he said once before leaving the room. Walking down the corridor Taehyung couldn't help but think about how he woke up in the ravenette's arms this morning. His face automatically lit up with a smile as today he was the happiest after two hellish years.
About the result? He didn't care about it at all. Death is inevitable and if he would come out of his father's clutches after that, then it was okay to die. He decided to live these two years with Jungkook and the other's happily. He wanted to try everything in his power to make them trust him again. I'll try till my last breath. He thought to himself while waiting for a taxi outside the hospital.
Suddenly a black car came speeding through the road and stood right beside him. The window rolled down and Ji-ung's face came into view. "Hyung? What are you doing here?" Taehyung asked surprised by his cousin's sudden appearance. "Get in the car Tae. I have something very important to tell you." Taehyung nodded hearing the words and quickly got into the car without wasting another minute.

After driving for sometime the car haulted near the beach. The place was silent as there were not a lot of people on the beach at the moment. The two boys kept on looking at the calming ocean waves silently. "I went into your father's study." Ji-ung said breaking the silence.
Taehyung's eyes widened at that. "Hyung! You know it's dangerous right? He doesn't like us entering there." "I know that. But no one was there so I took this opportunity Tae and I found out something." Ji-ung informed. "W..what? What did you find Hyung?" Taehyung asked stuttering.
"Kim corporation is not his. It's your's Tae. Aunt Soomin handed over the entire company and assets to you before dying." Hearing the words Taehyung was taken aback. "Mine?"
"Yes Tae! The company is your's. Han-Gyoel is just your legal guardian. You can't control or hand over the company to anyone till you get twenty five in age and he is just waiting for it to happen. This is why he keeps you under his control all the time. He just wants the company to himself." Ji-ung said trying to make the boy understand.
"B...But the mafia?" Taehyung asked. "That's his. He has been using aunt's company to build his underworld empire. If the company is taken away from him then he'll lose half of his wealth." "But what about Jeon Corp. He took it from them two years ago?"
"That got bankrupt Tae. No one accepted your father as their CEO and soon the employees left the company. It collapsed just after a few months and Han-Gyoel used all the money to furnish his mafia. He doesn't have that company anymore. Heck! It doesn't even exist." Ji-ung said getting a little worked up. He was sick and tired of the old man's dirty tricks. The only reason he was sticking around was to take care of Taehyung.
Kim Soomin, Taehyung's mother was the one who had raised him up after his parents died. He loved her and Taehyung a lot so after her death he had taken it upon himself to take care of the boy who was also his only family.
He looked at Taehyung and saw him gazing out of the window still trying to process everything. "Tae!" he called out gently. "Han-Gyoel married you to Jungkook without any hesitation. But as far as I know him he must not be at peace knowing that you are not under his control anymore." Saying this he took a deep breath and continued...
"He won't sit silently. He must be planning something big."
