Luca's POV
I can't believe he fucking slapped her. He is supposed to be her father, and he calls her the disgrace. I took everything in me to not lunge at his pathetic ass, but I knew that Elena could take care of herself. I for one was honestly surprised at how calmly she took it.
I still can't believe that mother fucker manipulated me into actually okaying this marriage thing. I mean I didn't okay it my dad did, but I didn't argue much after he told me the reason. Instead of me marrying her to keep her safe, like I thought his plan was, he just wanted to be the most powerful.
"So you almost got engaged to Miss Helena Torres?" Dash questions, well pouring himself another glass of whiskey. Me, Dash, and Kyle, were all sitting in my office talking about what happened today. We are also looking for Samuel MacRay, that backstabbing two-faced douche.
I nod and hand him my glass.
"Wait, so your dads set it up, then when she refused her dad slapped her?" Kyle asks confused, well typing manically on his laptop.
"No, he slapped her when she explained that she was not his daughter, and there relationship was toxic, and that she will be out of HER house that SHE pays for with HER money," I say taking a sip from my glass. I was studying his past whereabouts closely trying to see were he could have gone.
"So why did you even agree?" Dash asks. I look at him and shake my head.
"Did we try Dubai?" I ask, furring my eyebrows well looking at the map in front of me.
"Ya, we sent Maliki last week to check on leads, he came back with nothing," Dash says, raising his head from his computer, were he is checking phone records and old associates who could be helping him hide.
I don't know how long we were working but I do know we must have fell asleep at sometime. I was waken up to my cell phone ringing.
"Who is it?" Kyle asks groggily, rubbing his eyes.
I grab my phone from beside me and groan.
"Unknown number," I say grouchily.
"Just answer it," Dash says slamming his head on table in front of him.
"Hello,"
"Hey, Lover boy," a cherry voice sounds through the phone.
"Princess?" I question. Kyle raises a eyebrow and Dash raises his head.
"No, Elena," she answers. I furrow my eyebrows, why would she call me this late.
"Princess, what's wrong?" I ask, no more awake. Both Kyle and Dash and looking at me confused and wide awake.
"I need a huge favor Luca," Elena says. I hum in response.
"First come pick me and a couple people up, they'll be 6 of us including me. Second, we need a place to crash for the night," She asks. I nod.
"Okay, send me an address, I'll be there as soon as I can," I say.

"Thank you," she says.
"Always," I say, before I hang up. The boys give me the 'explain' look and I roll my eyes.
"How much do you guys love me?" I ask, like a middle schooler.
"What do you need," they both ask at the same time.
"How would you like some roommates?"
*****
"Well I thought there would at least be another girl with you, so this wouldn't be so awkward but," I say walking up the stairs with Elena trailing behind me. She has a young be in her arms but I don't know his relation to her, let alone his name.
"Loki is in Milan on a mission so she'll definitely be in for a surprise when she gets back." She says as we walk into my room. She walks in and awkwardly sits on my bed.
"So who's this little guy," I ask, referring to the small child who is starring at me with bright green eyes. His brown curly hair bounced gently as he looked at Elena then at me.
"I'm not little, I'm 3," he says, holding up two fingers. Elena corrects him by pulling out another finger.
"Okay, I'm sorry, who is this young man?" I ask, bending down in front of him.
"My name is Miles Wilson," he says, holding out his small little hand. I shake his tiny hands and he giggles.
"Mommy, he has big hands," Miles says, looking up at Elena. She smiles and shakes her head.
"I think you just have small hands bambino," she says ruffling his hair and pulling him into her side. She won't make eye contact with me and shake my head at that.
"I won't judge you, you know that right?" I ask, sitting on the bed.
"You like to ask me these questions, like I know the answers," she says, picking up Miles and resting him on her hip.
"Where do you want us?" she questions.
"Bed," I say. She raises a eyebrow.
"I'll take the couch," I say, pointing to the couch in the corner.
"You sure, its your room," she says.
"And your a guest," I say. She looks like she's about to argue but Miles yawns and lays his head on her chest. She let's out a sigh and smiles at me.
"Thank you," with that she walks around the bed, laying Miles on one side, under the covers.
He passes out fast and she kisses his forehead and turns to me.
"I'm sure you want a explanation, so let's go," she said, walking out the door. That was weird. I am so not use to not being in charge or not giving the orders. I shook off the feeling and followed her out, shutting the door softly behind me.
*****
"So you don't know who did it?" Dash questions.
"No," Cameron answers.
"I need some fucking bourbon," Kyle says walking away.

"Oh thank the heavens, we are going to be best fucking friends," Elena says jumping up from the ground and grabbing the bourbon bottle from bottle.
"Although, I call this whole bottle," she says taking a huge gulp. Cameron rolls his eyes and Andrew let's out a exasperated gasp.
"Chill Andrew, she loves anyone who gives her alcohol," Adeem says.
"I'm going to bed," Elena states, taking one last gulp of her bourbon.
"Same," I say standing up.
"Hey Cameron, Andrew, how much do you love me?" she asks them.
"That was the dumbest question you could have asked," Andrew says.
"Okay, give me your shirts," She says. Without a second thought they both give them there shirts. My men stand there shocked but she just smiles.
"Thank you," she says kissing them both on the cheek before proceeding to the stair way.
I follow Elena up the stairs and into my bedroom. She checks on Miles, carefully changing him into one of the shirts, before walking to her side of the bed. Before I could respond she takes off her crop top and slips on the other shirt before slipping off her jeans.
"What?" she questions.
"There's a bathroom, right there," I say pointing to the bathroom, she nods.
"I know, it was just to far and I'm just to tired," she says getting into the other side of the bed.
"Besides, I'm sure you enjoyed the show," she says, before flicking off the lamp.
"I did," I say before laying on the couch and pulling the blanket around me. A loud scream erupts through the room and I jump up. Elena's up to, flicking on the lamp already hovering over Miles when I get over there.
"What's happening?" I ask?
"Nightmare," she says. Miles starts thrashing around in the bed screaming.
"You have to hold him down," She says to me, calmly. I have a feeling this happens way to often.
"NO, NO MOMMY!" he screams thrashing. That's all it takes for me to run over and grab his arms.
"STOP, NO! Your hurting her," he screams, tears streaming down his face.
"Bambino, I need you to calma," she says, wiping his cheeks. He's still thrashing in my arms and I look up to see the tear that fell out of Elena's eye.
"Per favore, Tesoro, svegliati e solo un incubo," her native language falls off her tongue gracefully, as she continues wiping the tears the greedily run down his face.
"Please don't hurt mommy," he whispers before jumping up at full force, he is a little to strong for a 3 year old.
He starts crying and cuddles into Elena's side.
"Hey, breathe baby, it was just a nightmare," she says, running her hand threw his curly hair.
"Mommy he was there, he was hurting you," Miles says, more tears falling.
"Baby, he's gone, he can't hurt me. Look, I'm all right, I'm right here," she says pulling him into her and rubbing his back soothingly.
"He was there, he was hitting you, it was just like I saw," he says. She takes a sharp intake of breath and lets a tear fall.
"Baby, he's gone, he can't hurt me anymore. We are all okay, okay. Everything's fine, but you need to get back to bed," I say. He nods and crawls back under the bedding.
"Goodnight Mommy," he whispers.
"Goodnight Bambino," she says, kissing his forehead. When she sits back up, she looks shocked to see me. Almost like she forgot I was there. She most likely did. She wipes her tears and gives me a apologetic smile.
"Sorry for waking you," she says.
"Don't worry about it," I say. She nods. She looks like she wants to say more but doesn't, instead she walks out of the bedroom and onto the balcony. I stay on the bed think.
Who was the 'he' that Miles was talking about? Why were they hurting Elena, why in front of the kid. I stand up and kiss Miles on the head on head out to the balcony.
I sit on the edge of the railing staring at Elena who is just starring into the abius. The night sky was dark and I couldn't see her face completely, but I could see her strong jaw line, and high cheek bones that were defined enough for her to be a model.
"Did you kill him?" her voice brought me out of my studying.
"Huh?" I question.
"Did you kill him?" she asks again.
"Who?" I ask.
"Noah, did you kill him?" she asks again.
"Why does that matter?" I ask.
"Just answer the question," she says, sounding defeated. I never seen her sound so defeated, but I mean I've only known her for a little over a week.
"Yes," I say. She lets out a huge breath of air and I get confused.
"Why?" I ask. She doesn't answer.
"Elena?"
"Just trust me, its better that he's dead," she says.
"For who?" I ask. She silent for a few more seconds before she turns her head towards me. Her hazel eyes clash with my grey ones and she stares, like she's trying to read me.
"Everyone,"
"Why?"
"Why do you keep asking so many questions," she asks, she didn't sound mad though.
"I'm just trying to understand," I say.
"Because if anything happened to Miles I'd go insane, I'd take my anger out on everyone around me and it would end up deadly" she says, turning away.
"He's my everything," she whispers.
"I don't get it though, why would Noah being alive affect Miles?" I question.
"No more questions, I'm tired," she says, standing up and walking inside.
