You made it home and felt a bit bad for leaving without really saying anything, but you had stuff to do. Since you haven't been home, your house was all dusty, plus moth of the berries and vegetables were old and had to be rotten by now. You went to unlock the door, but to find out the door was already unlocked. Meaning someone was here, but you had the key on you the whole time. You placed your bag down and quietly opened the door. You peaked your head in to see the place a bit trashed. You walked in being very careful. You looked in the living room and kitchen and saw none. You grabbed a small katana that you had hidden behind the tv. You looked around the rest of the house and saw nothing, but it clearly showed that someone was here, or was. You stopped and stood their. Wondering what happened. That was when you heard noise up stairs. You ran to the stairs and saw the door wide open. You just stood their, wondering if you should actually go up their. You had sworn that you would never go up their, but had no choice. You slowly walked up the stairs. You reached the door and prepared for someone to be their. You pushed the door open wide enough to go through. Seeing a small hallway with three doors. One to your parents room, on your room, and the bathroom. You walked through the hall, holding the small katana close to your chest, feeling your heart beat fast. You checked Everton except your parents room. You walked to the door and heard someone moving around. You grabbed the door knob and turned it to see that it was also unlocked. You gulped and pushed the door open. You looked into the room and saw an krang bot looking around. The bot turned and faced you. It had the old rusted blaster for when you were 10.

"What are you doing in here and with that blaster.?" The bot said nothing. You looked at the brain and death stared it. It raised the blaster and ready to shot at you. You growled.
"You know that that old blaster won't work. It's been here for ages." The the bot didn't move, but moved the trigger. Your eyes shot open as the blaster actually shot you. It hit you once, but you dodge the rest.
"Holy shit. That thing works.?" You moved around the room, finally getting close to the bot and slicing it in half. The bot fell, making the brain pop out and try to run away. Frosty grabbed the brain with her mouth and just held it. You got grossed out, but had to deal with the bot body and the mess you made. You grabbed the body and threw it down the stairs. You then continued with picking the books that fell and cleaned the small burn marks off. You finished trying to be fast and locked the room back up. Locking the door to the upstairs you walked down and picked the metal body up. You were just going to throw it away but you should give it to Donnie, but you saved it for later. Frosty still had the brain. You looked around and grabbed a container and throw the brain in it, closing it up. Making sure it couldn't escape. You placed it in the freezer hoping it would freeze either to death, or so you could give it to Donnie. You sat down on the couch and looked at the ceiling. Frosty sat next to you and nudged at your arm. It hurt when she did so, then remembering you got shot. You slide one side of your jacket off to see the burn mark it left. It was stinging really bad. The blaster could still pack a punch after 6 years of being storage. You stood up and walking to the kitchen, grabbing a old rag and wetting it. You stole it on your shoulder. It stinger like hell. You walked to your bag and looked through it for anything that could help your burn mark. You then realized that you left it at the house. You must have forgotten it.

Age of Regression
[Author's Thoughts] Dropped, obviously. Still, it's my first attempt at a novel and I do love what I did with it. Big step towards learning. Far in the past, there was a civilization much more advanced than the one of modern times. Evidence of that time remains, but it is all but shrouded in mystery as there remains no way to decipher it. Currently, normal individuals wage war with guns and smaller machinery, but those who can wield a higher power vary in their abilities. Scales, born upon humans, are a mystery in their origins but are the source of their abilities and their way towards advancement. Although normally powerless, humans have adapted to the scales and thus can connect with the power of the universe, much like the other races that inhabit its various corners. In one of these corners, there exists a human settlement where Lancing follows his father's footsteps to begin his own ascent to power. However, he finds he is far different from his gifted father, whose scales below his eyes were among the purest ever seen, reaching gem-like quality. Far from perfect, Lancing shows no desire to give up and ceaselessly moves forward to reach the peak of the universe. However, he begins to notice that the mysteries of the universe slowly begin to unravel in front of his eyes. To reach the heavens, Lancing must carve his own path.
