"Ren!"
The group was filled with silence, Grians eyes filling with tears. He turned away, hugging Mumbo for comfort due to him being the closest.
"We should get going.. There might be more traps"
Xisumavoid spoke in a monotone, putting his hands behind his back, happy his helmet hides the tears.
Grian was the first to talk back at X, the tears in the Brits eyes pouring down his face like two never ending waterfalls.
"How can you stay so.. so RELAXED During all of this?! Do you WANT to see us all die one by one-"
Etho tried to Grab Grians wrist as a way of telling him to calm down, Grian pulling his arm away without hesitation.
"Are you the reason all this happened?!"
The Male hissed at the admin, thier faces only a few feet apart, X staying surprisingly calm, though his tears had started to drip from under the helmet.
"SAY SOMETHING YOU IDIOT!"
Grian yelled before mumbo pulled him back, hugging him tightly to try and calm his best friend, hearing sniffles from the shorter male. Grian hid his face in Mumbo's sholder, it caring that he had started to drench his suit.
"Grian is right, how are you so... so calm about this?"
Scar spoke unexpectedly, his Green eyes starting to water as he stared at the admin, wondering if he could still call him his friend.
Xisuma didn't answer, he just turned away, continuing to walk away from Ren's lifeless body, tucking his hands into his pockets, his feet dragging as he walked, not quite expecting the others to follow him.
Iskall sighed, looking down at the wooden floor, taking a breath before following the Bee man. Etho, Tango, Mumbo and Impulse following not to far behind. Scar looked at the sniffing Grian, starting to walk with him, though abit further away from the other hermits.

"X? are you... alright?"
Tango asked, being the only one who had bothered to catch up to the 'relaxed' male.
"No Tango.. I don't know"
X sighed, wishing he could take his helmet off to wipe the tears, deciting not to, keeping his face reveal to the 1000 video as he had planned.
"How.. how are you able to stay so calm?"
The red eyed male asked, hoping not to be too annoying. looking back at the few living hermits, everyone was blue and sad, a few with tears, another few like Iskall or Mumbo just looking worn out. making Tango and Xisuma the only somewhat stable ones.
" When you've been an admin for over 6 seasons straight, you start to get used to watching people permanently die or leave, showing weakness might make the other members not know who to follow at those darker times"
"It isn't working to well now, is it?"
Tango sighed, not expecting or getting an answer.
Scar was the first to find any trace of a trap, making sure everyone walked over it safely, getting them yet again to a split hallway. everyone looked at Xisuma, due to his wise mind, and he knows quite well the survival level of teh hermits to split them into groups. Though the brit stated silent, leaning against a wall away from the others. forcing another hermit to have to take control.
"Um.. I think Grian, Etho, Iskall and myself can go left, the other 4 can go right?"
Tango spoke, getting everyone's attention. No one knew or bothered to argue with who should go where, splitting into the groups and making their way around the mansion, finding rooms and loot and of course, traps. the mansion had started to look more like a livible build then a never ending hallway.

Scar roamed aorund in front of his group, checking every room, getting build ideas left and right... hoping to get out of thsi place to successfully use them that is.
As you all know, Curiousity Killed the cat, but in this case uh...
Scar walked into a bigger room, jumping abit as he stared into the red eyes of his current nightmare. a panda.
[Scar was slain by a Panda]
The memories of the first few days on the server flashed in people's memories as they stared at the message, yet this time there was no laughter... this time Scar was dead. forever. he was dead.
with Grian being one of the more... emotional ones of the living group, burst into tears, falling down to his knees, soon after curling up in a ball, Iskall trying to comfort him.
The group had decided to meet up beside Scar's death room, walking forward abit to Grian dosent have to look at it everytime he looks up.
Most people were in tears, Scar was a great friend for everyone, a Best friend to Grian, and a person to look up to in building skill for many others. Xisuma as expected stayed silent, actually, no where to be seen, Impulse looked around, not seeing the bright yellow of the Bee man's armor, not quite feeling like going out to look for him at the moment. But Iskall did, standing up and walking forwards abit, finding the Admin hidden behind a corner a few meters up ahead, his helmet off, but teh darkness of the corner hiding his head almost fully.
X hadn't noticed at first, hugging his knees and silently crying to himself, no one, and I mean no one had ever seen thsi side of the Brit, iskall taking a moment to anilize the situation, deciting to sit down beside him and lightly hug him, causing a flinch from the Bee man.
"I-Iskall -"
X managed to say outloud, pulling his helmet on just in case, going back to his original pose.
"It's not your fault X"
was all that was really needed to get the Admin to calm down abit, standing up and thanking his shorter friend, going out from his hidden place at the corner, seeing Grian still in tears on the ground, everyone trying to confort him.
"Hey G? I'm sorry, I'll try to make sure everyone is safe from here on out"
X promised, on his knees and hugging the fellow brit tightly, somehow managing to calm him down abit.

YAOS 1 - Limitless Adventures - Yet Another OP Story Book 1
December 23rd 2018: Book 1 is now up at Smashwords and at Amazon. December 30th 2018: V1.1.2 of YAOS Book 1 is out, some content additions, fixed typos. Amazon's enhanced typesetting now displays tables properly. YAOS is shown through the eyes of some genius athlete getting OP inside a VR, ah wait, Full Immersion game, ?F.I.O?. Not a Hero, not a Nerd, just a driven individual paying for mistakes made, biding time until he can return to the Real World. He isn't defined like you'd normally do it, you can pick his looks and name all on your own, just like you do in video games. Believe it or not, keeping his looks undefined is harder than you think. His backstory isn't expounded in detail, but it drives his choices. Book 1 isn't about depressing sob stories but about fun and rushing forward, pursuing new horizons. Oh, and you'll end on a cliffhanger! Well, most serials do, so you will probably expect that without being told explicitly. But it isn't that bad, there's a lot of reveals and more to come once this book, that is the first in a planned three-part series, is finally ready for release on amazon et al. The published version will have: 1.) Godawful speaker tags, I hate them, they make you stop thinking and speed up editing so much. In hindsight they should have been in to begin with. But I stand by my goals proclaimed earlier. You guys should think while reading, that is the whole point of the exercise. Apply the knowledge and ideas, improve yourself, get creative! 2.) Pretty colored tables, the damned blue boxes, a lot of work, 69 in one book. Finally fixed amazon's centering issue. Can't say I liked the hours needed to debug that. 3.) The promised Mitara chapters. 4.) A cover! 5.) And lastly, updated polished versions of several chapters. MC shares more of his past, some terrible chapters (esp. 32) finally work. Some new scenes, minor rewrites in parts. Text flow and other issues. The current challenge is to maintain essential ambiguity while satisfying people wanting to know more without thinking three steps ahead. Balancing one with the other is tough. The smut which was in remains, but the story told is not to be superseded by it. A 15+ rating for the first book is also important, not to mention, YAOS wasn't meant to contain any smut to begin with. If the Author can turn to writing full time his output should increase, so please support YAOS #1 once it does finally release. ~Thank You~ No maps so far, that should be in, but is really hard to get done right. Again, tips are appreciated. Update September 2017: Stubbed chapters, sorry guys, currently don't have time to upload them elsewhere, polishing book 1 and 2, writing 3, takes precedence. Book 1 is in heavy editing, too much to keep synced and continuing editing. I'd need a site which offers JS-free rapid managing of chapters and comments. Coding one myself or setting a premade up is out of scope until I'm done with the books. RRL-old offered that, nuff said. This is only here because the author believes in fairies, nobody reads this, most likely. October to December 2017: Life threw some curveballs. February 2018: Book 2 draft 1 completed, at ~150K words. Book 2 is fairly epic in scope, requires 1 rewritten chapter, some editing. Tables and miscellanea are in, but needs at least a grammar pass. March 2018: Book 3 at 28k words, first arc, rest needs serious planning for spin-off and satisfying conclusion. July 2018: Yet another proofing/editing session of books 1-3, 101+ chapters, ~300k words. B3 at 48k, starts out great, but no ETA, no wordcount limit, in flux. But prioritizing my writing cannot be done, I hate the delays as much as you, but you will prefer the whole released in a timely fashion rather than wait. Knowing myself how excruciating waiting can be, at least you'll get significantly polished versions and an ETA on book 2 by release of book 1. December 23rd 2018: Book 1 is now up at Smashwords and in the process at Amazon et. al.. . To all who wait patiently, offered feedback, thanks again!
