"hm? Oh yea, just.. Thinking"
He looked down, pulling his knees up to his chest. Bdubs was a good friend of his. The always exploding boomer that never failed to make him laugh.
Ren looked to the side, not knowing how to comfort Tango. Impulse walked over, sitting on the other side of his friend, just sitting there. It was enough to make Tango abit better.
The red eyed male sighed, resting his head on his knees, muffling his silent sniffle.
After getting most of the hermits to calm down enough to continue. X looked around, wondering on how to get the iron door to open.
A few more minutes passed, the Redstone hemrit trying to figure out how the door worked and how to get it to work, all of them failing.
"I swear to the lord of spoons is the door just... Timed??"
Mumbo scratched his head in confusion, Iskall, Xisuma, Impulse, Etho and even Grian staring at the door looking for any signs of it opening.
Almost as if the lord of spoons answers Mumbos Intresting ways of wishing the door was opened, the 3×3 iron door finally did what everyone waited for. The hermits took a moment to get themselves together and continued thier journey through the mansion.
Ren was the first to bring up the newfound rust and dirt in the corners of the dark halls. The halls looked lighter yet lot older and worn out. They walked slowly, Ren walking in front, his steps silent until he stepped forward with a echoed pressutplate click.
"shit-"
Rendog froze, Impulse being the one to
Get him down on the ground as arrows started to shoot out from the hidden dispensers, th never ending echo of them flying and hitting walls.
"what did you do?!"
Iskall hissed, looking up for a moment before a gloved hand, Xisumas, pulled his head down from a arrow.

Ren panicked abit, pressing the pressure plate again, hoping it would stop.. This is why he doesn't do Redstone. The arrows went on afew minutes longer, finally stopping after an annoying amount of time.
"just don't touch the pressure plate!"
Impulse called, the others using thier brain to walk around it, Rendog now being in the back with Impulse and Tango.
Walking around the pressure plate wasn't too bad, but someone had to walk over it. (for plot ofc)
Click.
" Ren-! "
Impulse called, trying to pull him out of the way-
"oh no-"
"Ren!"
The group was filled with silence, Grians eyes filling with tears. He turned away, hugging Mumbo for comfort due to him being the closest.
"We should get going.. There might be more traps"
Xisumavoid spoke in a monotone, putting his hands behind his back, happy his helmet hides the tears.
