I have a day off today but I'm afraid that he will be there and I won't get to see him. I really need a name. Just that.
"I'm bringing a friend over today. So um, either you can go or-" See, I have this roommate who I tend to argue with, a lot. "Matthew, you can't kick me out. I'm staying in here."
Matthew rolls his eyes and grabs a jacket from out coat rack. "Okay. I'll just go to his dorm then. I literally don't want you around him." He leaves with a slam to the door.
Personally I've never done anything wrong.
The door soon creaks open, "On a second thought, he's already here. So you leaving now or what?" Matthew sneers.
I get up and shove him out the way, bumping into another smaller body. "I'm so sorry." I mumble but I look down and see. "Hey, where you leaving off to so soon?" It's my favorite customer. I shake my head.
"Can't stay a little longer?" He asks me and takes a hold of my hand. Bucket loads of rush flowing through my body, a little tingly spark at the idea of his hand with mine.
"No. Sorry. Matthew doesn't like me around any of his friends. Um, bye." I scurry away immediately down the hall.
Now I have to figure out what to do until Matthew is finished doing whatever he could be doing with this amazing guy.

An American versed in narrative tropes and more than mildly acquainted with anime wakes up in a completely different bed than the one he went to bed in. Now he has to scramble to understand where he is, what's going on, and hope to God he isn't in a relationship drama. I don't expect this to be good or well-received, but I have plenty of time this quarantine, so I'll try to get a chapter of 4000-10000 words out every one or two weeks. (haha) Please let me know how it can be improved. I'm an avid reader of fiction, but I've never really fallen down a rabbit hole so hard that I can name all tropes and settings and such by heart. The story is complete it was a prototype and it is BAD.I do not recommend reading it, I will not edit it in any form, it is still here as a personal remained of how bad I was at the start. Mages are soo cool but without mana you can't become a mage. Well let's see how we can get mana to this world. I'm sure it would be a perfectly safe and excellent idea. First try at writing something like this. Dunno if I will update constantly or not, dunno what will happen with the story and the characters. Recipe: 3 cubic meters of science, 5 shit tons of pseudo science, 2 dantians of mistycism,1/2 cup of stupid references, 1 package of sarcasm, 1/400 tolkien epicness, 1 tea spoon of stupid commentaries, a pinch of craziness and dressed with randomness, uppps, too much randomness. Accepting all kinds of constructive criticism. Well prologue is finished.
