《It's All For You》5 | cigarette

Halfway through the drive Rudy pulled over and tied a blindfold over my eyes.
I was shaking so hard.
He parked abruptly, making me fly forward.
I heard a door shut and mine open. Rudy grabbed my upper arm and dragged me out, gripping my arm so hard I knew there would a be mark.
I heard more doors open. I was pulled up a flight of stairs. I was suddenly thrown on a soft surface. I scrambled up as quickly as I could, pulling my blindfold off. I felt the terror set. I was in a bedroom.
Rudy came over to me, lifting up his hand. I flinched.
He laughed when I felt a tear slip out of the corner of my eye. He left the room and I cried out when I heard it lock.
After a few seconds I got up and walked over to the window. Locked with a chain. I tapped on the window. Outside sleek black cars pulled into the driveway of what seemed to be a massive house.
I bit the inside of my cheek. I walked over to the desk in the room and picked up the paper weight.
I took a deep breath and threw as hard as I could at the window. It shattered and a loud alarm went off.
Adrenaline kicked in and I had one leg out the window when I heard a door slam open and someone grabbed me and throw me on the ground.
I cried out when my shoulder took the impact.
Rudy stood over me. The alarm stopped.
"Think you're so smart?" He asked me.
I wiped my tears off my face. I was so scared it was hard to breathe. He picked me up and shoved me on the bed. I sat up quickly and wrapped my arms around myself.
Suddenly two men walked in. One had black hair with eyes to match. He stared at me with wide eyes. The other was Florencio.

A cigarette hung from his lips. His expression was unreadable. Then it was angry. Then it was cold.
Rudy pulled his gun out of his jacket and pointed it at me. I bit my lip hard so I wouldn't make any noise.
Florencio threw his cigarette on the white carpet and grounded it out carelessly.
"Give me my money and I'll give you her," Rudy said. "Simple."
Florencio looked at me up and down.
"No," he replied, his face expressionless.
I knew I couldn't trust this man but his betrayal still hurt.
Rudy cursed and pulled the trigger. I screamed and pulled myself into a fetal position. I couldn't breathe. Was I hit? I don't think I was. I opened my eyes slowly and saw Rudy shot the headboard.
Florencio ran his tongue over his teeth. "We done here?"
Rudy walked over to me and pulled me up to him. I tried to avoid his mouth but it landed hard on my lips. His lips were dry and he tasted like tobacco.
My tears were never ending.
"Get your hands off of her," Florencio demanded.
Rudy pulled away. "Oh, she does mean something? Sorry didn't know." He turned me so my back was to him. I felt his gun press against my neck.
Florencio looked so angry. "Give her to me," he finally said. "Then I'll give you your money."
"I want my money first!" Rudy yelled.
Florencio rubbed his jaw. "Fine," he snapped. "Eight million right now. You have to wait for the rest."
Rudy threw me to the ground. "Wasn't that hard, was it?"
"Sam," Florencio said, looking at the other guy. "Give him his money at the house."
Rudy left, but before he did, he kneeled down and kissed my cheek harshly. I pulled away from him, disgusted.
"I like this one, Foster." He and Sam were out of the room.

Florencio picked me gently. He wiped my tears away with the pads of his thumbs.
"Did he hurt you?"
I nodded, feeling pain in my shoulder.
He grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the lavish house and outside into a black car.
"Who are you?" I whispered.
"Nobody you want to know," he replied, his voice hoarse.
"I want to go home," I said, my voice breaking.
"Not yet."
What the actual hell.
"I hate you," I said. I meant it. Because of our two stupid encounters with each other I almost died.
"Good for you," he said harshly, making a sharp turn. We pulled up to an expensive looking house.
"Get out of my car," he said slowly. "Go in there and stay there."
I bit my tongue. I wanted him to go...
I saw headlights behind us.
He sighed and rubbed his eyes. "Too late now. Rudy's already here. Just—just stay here." He sounded frustrated. He got out and slammed the door. I flinched. I looked out my window and saw Florencio hand Rudy stacks of money. It kept going.
After Rudy left, Florencio opened my door. He looked as mad as a bull.
"Please get inside," he bit out, trying to sound nice.
I got out slowly and did as he said.
He followed me in.
He was smoking.
"Go upstairs. The second door is my room," he finally said. "Take a shower and get dressed. There's clothes in the closet." He turned around swiftly and back outside.
I wanted to throw up. So I did. I ran upstairs, turned on his shower and threw up.
I felt disgusting as I heaved up my popcorn and soda.
I snatched the toothpaste that was in the shower and rubbed my teeth and tongue with the toothpaste till they hurt.
I got out of the shower and wrapped myself with the thick white towel. I left the bathroom, walking out cautiously, making sure no one was in there.
I walked into the huge walk in closet, surprised there was only a few shoes and articles of clothing. I pulled on a grey tee shirt that was too big and black joggers.
I brushed my hair with the brush I found in there.
I shivered, feeling cold. Florencio came in.
"You look good," he said quietly. My face flushed.
"I want to go home," I said again. "Please let me go." I closed my eyes, feeling my eyes burn again.
I heard fast breathing. I opened my eyes. "You think I'm keeping you hear because I want to? You're only here because Rudy threatened to catch you again until I give him the rest of the money." He took a deep breath. "What am I supposed to do when he breaks into your house and kills you?"
I was shocked. Then I asked, "What's he want the money for? Drugs?"
H smiled lightly. "You think so?"
I nodded. "Y-Yes."
He walked closer to me till I was forced to sit on the bed. I crawled back. He crawled towards me.
I felt excitement rush through me and I was shocked at it.
"What are you doing?" I questioned as he came closer to me. His face was inches away from mine. His legs caged my body.
I bit my lip.
His eyes dilated.
"Going to sleep," he finally replied. He rolled off me and I could finally breathe.
I leaned up on my elbows and saw he was on his side, breathing steadily.
I laid down slowly. I closed my eyes.
"Do you still hate me?" Florencio asked, his voice making me feel warm.
I couldn't say yes.
