《It's All For You》4 | arms

I groaned and stretched out, pressing myself against the hard surface in front of me.
I wrapped my arms around something and squeezed.
I yawned and opened my eyes, blinking a few times to try and blink the tiredness away.
I was speechless when I looked up and saw Florencio's eyes staring at me.
"Comfortable?" He asked, his voice hoarse.
Yes.
I got up quickly and almost fell off the bed all together. My face felt like it was on fire.
"I'm sorry...when are we going home?" My voice was scratchy from just waking up.
Florencio stretched out like a cat, his bones cracking. "Now I suppose." His eyes flickered to my chest then to my face. He got up, not looking at me. "Fix your suit, Parker," He said, walking into the bathroom.
I scowled. I walked over to the mirror in the room. I gasped and fixed my suit so my nipple wasn't showing. "Oh my god!" I whispered. How embarrassing!
Florencio came out of the bathroom. He was looking at me, smirking.
"Stop laughing at me," I murmured, pushing past him into the bathroom.
He let out a small laugh.
-
Florencio made me drive an hour out of town to a fancy apartment complex.
"Is this where you live?" I asked in awe at the expensive building.
"No," he answered shortly.
I parked on the curb in front of the building.
"Thanks for the ride, honey," he says and gets out. He didn't glance back.
I don't even get to say goodbye because the door is already shut. His phone is already pressed to his ear. I watched as he walked confidently into the building.
A strange part of me wanted him to get back in the car and the other half was yelling at me to get out of there.
-
I showed up to Gina's house later that day, still in my swimsuit, and she gave me a change of clothes. A tee-shirt and leggings.
"Thanks, G," I said, sitting down on her bed.

"You're welcome," she replied, sitting across from me. Her pretty dyed red hair was pulled into a bun and her tanned skin glowed.
"I'm Italian, what can I say?" She'd say when I'd point out how beautiful she is.
"Sooo," she drawled out, taking a sip of her tea. "Tell me about that boy you were with...all night!" She grinned widely.
I choked on my coffee and had to hold the mug up to my mouth so I didn't spit all over Gina's bed.
"Ew. What the hell, Parker."
I wiped my chin with the back of my hand.
"I'm sorry," I managed to get out. "It's just—it's not like that. I don't even know him." I felt so hot and the mug in my hand wasn't helping. I set it down on her nightstand.
Her face scrunched up. "You had a one night stand?" She looked upset. "I mean, why didn't you text me in the morning?"
"We didn't have sex," I said quietly.
Her face perked up. "So the v-card is still intact?"
I rolled my eyes. "Yeah, G." I raised my eyebrows at her. "Is yours?" I asked, fully knowing her and her boyfriend Peter weren't living up to her moms rule of 'no sex before marriage.'
She giggled. "Shut up! My moms downstairs." She cleared her throat. "Seriously, what happened last night? I want to know."
I didn't know what to say. I couldn't tell her what actually happened. "He brought me back to his house," I started unsure, "and we just hung out and fell asleep to watching a movie."
That wasn't good enough.
"How'd you meet?" She pressed.
"At the pool," I answered quickly.
Her eyes narrowed into slits. "You suck at this girl talk. I tell you about everything I do with Peter!"
I snorted. "G, I love you but I don't want to hear about you and Peter on his moms counter...oh god that's so gross."

She smiled. "I just love him so much. I could be anywhere with him."
I just shook my head, smiling. "Alright," I said, getting up and slipping on my sandals. "I gotta go. My phones dead and I probably have a million calls from my mom."
I grabbed my swimsuit and cover in my arms and hugged Gina. "Love you, G."
"Love you too!" She called as I walked out.
I quickly said a goodbye to her mom, Jenny, and left to my house.
-
"Did you have fun at Gina's?" My mom asked me when I got home.
"Yeah," I replied. "We did just the usual." I felt so bad for lying to my mom but it was for a good reason.
She nodded. "Okay. Good." She pulled me into the kitchen and handed me a plate of pasta. "Take this to your room. I already ate." She grabbed my swimsuit from me. "I'll wash this."
I was weirded out with her behavior. Usually she was more distant than this.
"Thanks mom," I mumbled and went to my room.
-
The following weekend Gina called me.
"Let's go out tonight," she says.
"Where?" I ask, curious.
"I don't know, a movie, to eat after? I'm just so bored cooped up in the house all day and Peter is busy. That jerk."
I laughed. "How rude is he? Doesn't he know you need constant attention?"
She sighed. "I guess not. Anyways get ready."
I sat up in my bed. "I haven't said if I was going with you."
"Well I already bought your movie ticket so have to come. It's old movies week. They're playing Dirty Dancing."
I rolled my eyes. "That movie..."
"What? Are you gonna be upset because you miss your boy toy?" I heard her giggling.
"What?" I didn't miss Florencio. I thought about him. But that didn't mean I missed him. "You're more obsessed with this boy then...I'm not."
"Whatever, Miss Lonely. Just get ready. I'll pick you up in an hour."
-
Baby was dancing and I was bored. This was Gina's favorite movie and we always watched it when we were together.
"Bathroom," I whispered to her and left. She just waved her hand at me and focused her attention back to the screen.
When I got into the bathroom, I took extra long, making sure to wash my hands three times. Anything to make that movie go by faster.
I left the bathroom and went into the lobby, checked my phone. I gasped when someone bumped into me hard.
I looked up to see who it was and my mouth went dry when I saw who it was. Rudy.
"Follow me and no one gets hurt," he whispered threateningly.
I swallowed hard. I tried to talk but couldn't. He pulled us behind a cardboard cut out for a movie coming out. I jumped when something hard and cold pressed against my stomach.
"I have nothing," I finally managed to get out.
He gripped my arm tightly and pulled me out of the theater. No one said anything.
He shoved me in a car and went to the trunk. I pulled out my phone and texted Gina.
Threw up in the bathroom. Must have been something ate. Got an Uber. See you later.
I shoved my phone in the side of my bra.
Rudy got back in the car. "Give me your phone," he said harshly.
"I left it in my purse in the theater," I lied quickly. "I don't have anything." He could definitely hear my loud heartbeat.
"Bitch," he hissed. "Then give me your sweater."
I took off my sweater, leaving me in a simple black tee. He threw my sweater in the back.
"Better pray that your Florencio will come get you." He laughed darkly. "I know you two spent the night together."
I felt sick.
He gripped my jaw hard, pulling me to his face. I felt my eyes burn.
"Maybe he'll come get his girl."
