《Shades of Red |Karl Heisenberg x child reader|》Episode 13 || Miranda

Ethan and I ran down the ruined village roads. The howls of lycans echoed off the stone walls of the lone road.
"Come on... we have to keep going." Ethan mumbled trying to pull me along, even though I was supporting half his weight.
Slowly he seemed to regain strength and we evolved into a run up the stairs which were covered in black writhing mold.
"They're behind here, hurry!" Ethan pulled me through a wall of roots into the ceremony sight, where all hell was loose.
Miranda hung floating in the air, her wings out and nails as long as Lady D.
Shots rang out from above and I spotted Chris and his men, guns at the ready, providing cover fire.
Moreau and Donna covered the base of one of the statues in explosives.
Alcina and Heisenberg were the ones on the offensive. Alcina flying above with a swarm of bugs, and Heisenberg slashing at Miranda from below.
"Hey kid! What are you doing get in here and help!" Chris shouted from above, his voice hard to hear above the gunshots and Heisenbergs saws.
I didn't realize I'd been standing there for so long and Ethan was already gone, shooting at Miranda.
My fists clenched at my side, and my body was shaking but I ran in, trying to heat my hands up.
"You will not stop me from getting my Eva!"
Miranda's words echoed around us as her wings sharpened into points. Stabbing into the ground like spider legs. One slashed through Heisenbergs metal saw, splitting it in half.
"(Y/N)! Help us!" Moreau called from the pile of explosives behind Miranda.
I saw what they were doing before I even made it over. Heisenberg and Alcina were running Miranda right into our arsenal.
They handed me a handful of landmines which I scattered around the rest of the statue.
Once everything was placed we backed up.
The remote was in Donna's hand.
Slowly they pushed Miranda back into the statue.
I heard the click of the button as the mines went off.
Not all of then hit her but some did.
The statue came crumbling to the ground. Dust filled the air surrounding everything.
The place went silent.
No shots.
No saw blades.
Until the smoke cleared.
Heisenberg's blade turned back on as he cut free from a stone that had crushed half of his metal body.
Miranda wasn't anywhere in sight.
Alcina landed next to us, and I could see the blood dripping off her white form.
"Where'd she go?"
My voice seemed to be lost in the void as my vision turned black.
I could barely see the ground at my feet.
"You won't win. I'll pick you off one by one, then leave with my daughter! MY EVA!"

Her voice rung in my head.
The black void felt suffocating.
I couldn't see.
I heard a scream from behind me but my eyes couldn't locate the sorce.
"COME OUT COWARD!" I shouted, my voice being consumed by the vacuum I was trapped in.
Another scream from infront of me but this time it was Miranda.
The black fog cleared and I looked around.
Alcina had Miranda pinned against a wall. Black blood dripped from somewhere on Miranda's abdomen.
"(Y/N)! Oh no... oh no." Moreau called from behind me.
He sat next to Donna's body on the ground. Blood pooled around her, a large gash went up her back.
"Oh my god, Donna!"
I rushed over ignoring everything else.
Her face was contorted in pain, and silent tears ran down her face.
"I'll help don't worry! Just don't move please..."
I heated my hand up, and felt a wave of exhaustion wash over me. I tried to ignore it as I slowly cauterized the laceration.
Her skin was pale, but an irritated red around the wound. It wasn't that deep... my vision blurred. The sight of the cut down her back made my skin crawl.
Another scream echoed around us but it sounded distant in my head.
My hands shook as I closed up the rest of the wound, and the smell around me made me nauseous.
"Is she gonna be okay? Please oh please be okay..."
I nodded slightly as I stood, my vision going black for a few seconds.
My hands were covered in blood.
"Stay... stay here. I'll be back. I have to help them."
Moreau started talking but the sound twisted in my head.
I made a b-line towards where the others were fighting. I couldn't hear any gunshots from above.
Heisenberg lashed at Miranda in the middle of the sight. Bits of metal lay everywhere, peeled off of his form.
Alcina stood of to the side. Large gashes down her body.
I couldn't see Ethan but I heard his frantic shouting.
Heisenberg's movements were slowing.
Miranda kept getting hits off and I felt powerless to stop her.
She stabbed toward him and his movements stopped. Miranda disappeared in a cloud of smoke.
My vision went black again and my mind went numb.
I couldnt see.
The rushing of blood almost covered up the movement behind me, and I raised my hand to meet Miranda's bloody face.
The face that had looked over me in that lab. My stomach turned in pain.
I heard a scream but I couldn't tell whose it was.
My body hit the ground and the fog disappeared again. Blood covered my abdomen but I couldn't feel anything.
My heart pounded in my ears.
I heard someone yell and turned toward Heisenberg face to face with Miranda.

Regular sized, hammer in hand.
I wanted to run away.
Every instinct in my body told me to leave.
Everything was going wrong.
I held onto my stomach trying to slow the bleeding. Blood seeped through my fingers.
I didn't want to die.
My vision was blurry but I looked over at Heisenberg.
His hammer was raised, and bits of metal floated around him.
I stood a stabbing pain in my abdomen.
His movements were slow and Miranda dodged them without trouble.
She didn't even try to attack. Her lips were moving a small smirk on her blooded face.
I stumbled forward. I could hear Miranda's taunts. Heisenbergs rapid breathing.
"Don't worry." She said moving out of the way of another of Heisenbergs shots. "I sure did love watching each on you bleed, and I promise to enjoy seeing the life fade from your eyes."
She grabbed him by the throat stopping another blow.
He let out a strangled groan as his hammer dropped from his grasp.
"You were never my child. None of you were. Only another mistake on the way to getting my sweet daughter back."
I stumbled forward, my bloody hands dropped from my side. The normal orange tint was replaced with a blue.
Without hesitation I grabbed Miranda, the smell of burnt flesh filled my nose immediately.
Her scream filled my ears as my vision blurred, and I closed my eyes.
Gunshots rang out again and an explosion came from behind me.
I let go of her, as my body went numb.
I fell... my head spinning.
Someone picked me up. I could feel we were running, and with each step a throbbing pain shot through my abdomen.
I tried to take deep breaths to calm myself but all I could take in were weak shallow breaths.
My head was pounding. I couldn't hear anything other than the blood rushing in my ears.
My body was freezing.
I opened my eyes to an empty frozen field.
"Wow, you've put on one hell of a show!" A familiar voice called, echoing through my mind. "You are I'm horrible shape so.... I guess I have to help you now?"
The figure let out a laugh and my stomach turned.
"I hope you can handle what's coming for you. It'd be such a shame for you to die now.... anyways, you better leave. You don't want your friends to die."
I could almost hear the smile in their voice as I fell backwards, the world twisting around me.
The pain hit me immediately as I opened my eyes.
My vision was still blurry but I sat up, someone had stitched up my abdomen.
I lay in a makeshift bed, bandages wrapped my stomach. I could feel the sutures underneath.
One of Chris' men ran around, checking everyone's injuries.
I stood up and felt the stitches stretch, and I knew they were gonna rip.
Immediately I saw Miranda. She was still standing. Though looking a little worse for wares.
One of her wing was missing, black blood dripped off of where it was ripped from.
Cuts and bullet wounds littered her skin, and the two burn mark I had left on her back were already blistered and bloody.
She had Ethan infront of her, wrapped in the black roots from before.
Ethan shot at her, the bullets seemingly doing nothing.
Heisenberg ran towards them only to be caught by the roots as well.
Chris' men let fly another round of bullets. Moreau threw explosives and set mines.
Donna and Alcina were nowhere to be found.
Miranda stabbed toward Ethan, only missing because of a pipe bomb thrown by Moreau.
I ran towards them, feeling my stitches tear with each step.
A burning sensation erupted in my abdomen but I didn't stop. My hands grew hot, the red glow spreading up my arms.
I let out a scream but it wasn't mine.
My vision twisted and it didn't feel like I was in my own body.
I was in the body of an animal, running full speed on all fours. My feet left the ground smoking.
I jumped, going farther than possible, crashing into Miranda. Her scream echoed around me, as my claws dug into her chest.
Her body smoked from under me.
I wanted her dead.
"My Daughter... My Eva! NO!" She shrieked.
Her body crumpled under me. Dust clouded the air as the mold and roots crumpled to nothing.
I stumbled. My vision twisted again.
Ethan and Heisenberg were free from the roots that were holding them. Heisenberg was running towards me.
"Oh god, (Y/N)! You're gonna be okay, please, you're gonna be okay..."
He picked me up and my stomach burned. I gritted my teeth as black spots clouded my vision.
"You're fine kid... we're fine. You did it."
My vision went black, warm blood soaking my clothes.
Note from Author
Oh my god.
I really hope that was good or at least coherent. As I said I suck at writing fighting scenes soooo... I'm gonna work on it and write other fight scenes so I get better.
Anyways I really hope you guys enjoyed this and I am already working on the next episode. To be honest I'm really excited to write the next part of this story because I've been thinking about it all week.
Sincerely your Author :)

Rise of the Business [Class]
'Rise of the Business [Class]' is a story about a world where humanity ended up fleeing through space, after suffering several great disasters at home. On arrival we crash-landed and were soon attacked by magic wielding civilizations who learned how to deal with our weaponry with a speed that belied their seemingly simplistic nature. We were lost. But eventually we survived by abandoning technology and adapting. But this tale takes place thousands of years later, after humanity has had time to rise and falter more than once. It tells of a time where we adapted too much, focusing only on combat and magic and learning to rely on the [System] that our ancestors built in order to compete and survive on this hostile planet with the others. This is a story about our final chance during a time when all of humanity is under siege again, where we struggled to adapt too late and ultimately had to learn how to summon a collection of people from Earth through time and space to come help - but not to the 'besieged time' but back a couple of hundred years - before it went too far down the wrong path, so they can hopefully change things enough to prevent a return to that timeline. Follow Livia as she is ripped from her favorite library and end up getting lucky, or unlucky? On her very first day on the Elderwood continent. While a trio of native lads excitedly leave home to find adventure, oblivious to how very soon they might end up entangled in the fate of the world.
