My leg bounced up and down while I sat on the couch.

The bowl of popcorn was in my lap, and I was eating a few pieces every now and again to calm myself down.

Yes, I was stress eating.

I was staring at a blank TV screen. My mind was racing with too many thoughts to preform, well... any logical actions basically.

All I could do was stare at that TV screen.

I stared down into the bowl, only now realizing that the popcorn I had made was burnt. How had I not noticed? I hated burnt popcorn, how...? How?

I must really be spacing.

Something in the back of my mind was shouting at me. Shouting at me to go chase after him. Shouting at me to talk to him. Shouting at me to yell at him. Shouting at me to do anything. But... for once, I ignored my brain.

Well, I guess it wasn't so much as ignored. It was more that I lacked the motivation.

My heart had dropped, and I couldn't do anything.
