I changed out of the dress I was in appearently I tapped too much in my Olympian form which Pa was shocked I had. Sam woke up after we tied him up. "You're right. He looks terrible." Marina said. "You did this?" Castiel asked. "No a Leprechaun did." Sammi said. "Well Mae is short enough." Crystal said I glared at her. "Cas, Rina? What's -- Let me go." Sam said impatient. "Has he been feverish?" Marina asked. "Have you?" Ricky asked. "No. Why?" Sam asked confused. "Is he speaking in tongues? Are you speaking in tongues?" Castiel asked. "No. What are you... Are you diagnosing me?" Sam said. "You better hope they can." Dean said. "You really think that this is serious." Sam said. "What, you think that there's a clinic out there for people who just go MIA after their sibling go to hell? He asks, you answer! Then you shut your hole. You got it?" Kara said sternly. "How much do you sleep?" Marina asked him. "I don't." Sam said. "At all?" I asked. "Not since you went to hell." Sam said. "And it never occurred to you that there might be something off about that?!" Alison asked. "Of course it did, guys. I-I just never told you." Sam said. "What?" Ricky asked him confused. "Sam... What are you feeling now?" Castiel asked. "I feel like my nose is broken." Sam said sarcastically. "No, that's a physical sensation. How do you feel?" Marina asked. "Well, I think..." Sam started. "Feel." Marina inturrupted. "I... don't know. What? Uh..." Sam trailed off as Castiel came closer to him. "This will be unpleasant. Bite down on this. If there's someplace that you find soothing, you should go there. In your mind." Castiel said and taking Alison's belt making her jeans fall down she yanked them up and got a new belt. Castiel looked inside Sam making him scream and Castiel finished and looked at us. "Did you find anything?" Dean asked. "No." Castiel said. "So that's good news?" Ricky asked. "I'm afraid not. Physically, he's perfectly healthy." Castiel said. "Then what?" I asked. "It's his soul. It's gone." Marina said. "Um... I'm s-- I'm sorry. One more time, like I'm 5. What do you mean, he's got no soul?" Alison said. "Somehow, Sam tried to make a deal and the demon took Sam's soul." Marina said. "A demon deal?" We all asked him. "So, where is it?" Crystal asked. "My guess is... in the cage with Michael and Lucifer along with Mary's lost memories." Marina said. "So, is he even still Sam?" Kara asked. "Well, you pose an interesting philosophical question." Castiel said making me want to punch him. "Well, then, just get it back." Dean said. "Guys." Marina said. "Well, you pulled me out." Dean said. "It took several angels to rescue you, and you weren't nearly as well guarded. Sam's soul is in Lucifer's cage. There's a difference, a big difference. It's not possible." Castiel said. "Well how come Mae got out?" Ricky asked. "Mae was probably rescued by Greek gods and angels." Marina said. "She was, Zues made me yank her out." Hermes said showing up. "Okay that solves that mystery, but, there's got to be a way to get Sam's soul back." I said to the two angels. "So, are you gonna untie me?" Sam asked. "No." We all said. "Listen, I'm not gonna kill anyone." Sam said. "Sam, how the hell are we even supposed to let you out of this room?" Crystal said. "Guys, I'm not some psycho. I didn't want you to get hurt. I was just trying to stop the vamps." Sam said. "Grumpy moose, you used Dean as bait." Ricky said. "I'm sorry. It won't ever happen again. Please let me go." Sam said. "You're kidding, right?" Alison said. "Well, what are you gonna do, just keep me locked up in here forever?" Sam said. "You say that like it's a bad thing." Dean said. "Okay, fine, look, I get it. I get it, guys. I was wrong. But I'm telling you I-I'm trying to get right. It's still me." Sam said. "Is it?" Kara asked. "Yes. So just let me go." Sam said, I glared. "No way in hell." I said. "I didn't want it to come to this. You're not gonna hold me, guys -- Not here, not in a panic room, not anywhere. You're stuck with the soulless guy, so you might as well work with me. Let's fix this." Sam said. "I'm gonna be watching every move you make." Dean and I said to him. "Fine. Sounds about right to me." Sam said to us. "Marina, Cassie, clean him up." Ricky said. Sam was cleaned up. "All right, if we're gonna figure out what happened to your soul, then we need to find who you sold your soul and what angel yanked Mae out." Alison said. "Can you make that sound anymore kinky?" Crystal asked. "You say you both don't know?" Dean asked. "Dean when have we ever learned a demon's name." Sam said. "Hermes?" I asked. "Very little the angels had wings." Hermes said. "So that narrows it down to any angel!" Marina yelled. "Then we start a list. If it's so hard to spring someone out of the box and drags someone soul's there, then who's got that kind of muscle?" Dean said. "I don't know. Mae you have no memory of your resurrection?" Castiel said. "I woke up in a field half a year. That's all I got." I said. "No clues? None?" Kara asked. "This blade." I said showing them the improved blade. "I've got an idea." Sam said. We drove to the compound and saw all the hunters. "Gramps throw a barbecue, leave us off the e-vite list?" Dean asked. "Why did I have to come?" I asked. "Why are you pouting?" Kara asked. "I don't like Samuel." I said. "Sam, Kara, and Crystal! Ahh, others." Christian said. "Hello, Newman. Where's the man?" Dean said. "Come right on in." Samuel said and we walked in. "Need to ask you a few questions." I said. "What's wrong?" Samuel asked slightly glaring at me. "The day you got back, what happened?" I asked. "We've been over this." Samuel said. "Well, recap it for our wingman and woman." Ricky said as Castiel and Marina appeared. "This Castiel and Marina? Castiel is scrawnier than I pictured, but expected for a gay man." Samuel said. "Me?" Marina asked. "You're exactly how Sam described." Samuel said. "This is a vessel. My true form is approximately the size of your Chrysler building." Castiel said. "All right, all right, quit bragging. So, you were dead, and..." Dean trailed off looking at Samuel. "And, pow, I was behind Sam. Don't know how. Don't know why. I got nothing to hide, guys." Samuel said. "Well, you mind if Cas here double-checks?" Ricky asked as Castiel put his hand in Samuel making him scream, is it bad I felt kind of happy for Samuel to be in pain. Guys ran in with guns. "Whoa, whoa, whoa. It's okay. It's okay. It's okay." Crystal said. "What the hell?" Christian asked looking at all of us. "Angel cavity search." Alison and Hermes said. "I'm fine, Christian. Just give us a minute." Samuel said. "But..." Christian trailed off looking at us. "Just give us a minute. What the hell was that about?" Samuel said looking at us. "His soul is intact." Castiel said. "What? Of course I have a -- What's going on, Sam?" Samuel said. "Whatever I made a deal with took my soul. Did you know?" Sam said. "No, but I... I knew it was something. I... You're a hell of a hunter, Sam, but... the truth is, sometimes you scare me. So, what's the deal here? How do we fix this? How do we get his soul back?" Samuel asked. "We don't know yet, but we have to." I said to him. "Well, I'm here to help, of course. What leads you working?" Samuel said. "A bunch of dead ends and you." Crystal said. "Well, then, we'll just have to dig." Samuel said. "Guys... I have to get back." Marina said. "You're leaving?" Ricky asked Castiel sadly. "I'm in the middle of a civil war." Castiel said to us. "You better tear the attic up, find something to help Sam." Dean said. "I just texted Hades and Persephone they'll look in hell." Sammi said. "You have Hades and Persephone phone numbers?" Hermes asked. "They are very nice parent figures." Sammi said. "Of course. Your problems always come first. I'll be in touch." Marina said as the two left and we looked at Samuel. "Would've asked them to stick around for a beer." Samuel said. "So, what's with the book club outside?" I asked. "Putting together a hunt." Samuel said. "That's a lot of guys for one hunt." Alison said. "You found him, didn't you?" Sam said. "Who?" Ricky asked. "He's got a lead on the alpha vamp." Kara said. "Do you?" Dean asked him. "Maybe. Yeah." Samuel said. "How'd you track him down?" I asked. "We're good." Samuel said chuckling. "That's all we get? We're good?" Dean asked. "When's the run?" Sam asked. "Dawn." Samuel said. "You didn't call me? Why?" Sam asked confused. "Cause of us. You don't trust us very much, do you? Especially when it comes to big game like this." I said. "That's not true." Samuel said obviously lying, yeah he just hated my damn guts. "Okay, well, then, we're in." I said giving a grin. "No offense, but..." Samuel trailed off. "You hate my guts." I said wanting him to agree. "No, I just don't know you. Not like I know Sam, Crystal, and Kara." Samuel said. "All right. You call the plays. 100%. I'm here to listen." Dean said. "Since when?" Kata asked. "Big daddy bloodsucker? I ain't gonna miss that. But this is your deal. Okay? I get it. I'll follow your lead. I trust you." Dean said. "Well while that goes down Mae, Sammi, and I will be away." Ricky said. "Why?" Alison asked. "Mae obviously hates the dude." Hermes said. "Mae he's our grandfather." Sam said. "He also blames me for Mom's death so let that sink in." I said and left.

"Drama?" Samuel asked. "You blame Mae for Mom's death?" Dean asked. "Well she was born and then your Mommy died so." Samuel said. "Mom died once when a demon burned her to a ceiling, so she wasn't supposed to be alive to begin with, Dad didn't even blame Mae, he saw Mae as a version of Mom. So don't tell her that again." Dean said, I have never heard him give a speech so long. "Fine but she obviously doesn't care if she lets you hunt the alpha vamp on your own." Samuel said. "You probably gave her PTSD." Alison mumbled. I looked not wanting to say anything but Samuel is an asshole for hating Mae.
We were sitting in the car in the woods near where the alpha vampire is. "Sam obviously has no soul." Hermes said. "Yeah, he has no shame." I said eating my burger. "What is he like with a soul?" Sammi asked. "A hell of a lot more nice and doesn't kill things left or right." Ricky said. I nodded. We were watching and saw Sam lead the alpha vampire out of the door I texted Alison.
Alison called me and we listened. "I saw you walk that alpha out the door, Sam. Now, call me crazy... But that seems weird." Dean said. "Oh." Sam said. We all looked at each other. "Oh." Dean said probably glaring. "You weren't supposed to know about that." Kara said. "Know what?" Alison asked them. "It's just something Samuel's been doing. Catching things, taking them somewhere, grilling them for info." Crystal said. "Grill. Torture, right? And not telling me -- that was his idea?" Dean said seething, you could hear it. "No, it was mine." Sam said. "I don't like soulless Sam." Sammi said, we nodded. "Why?" Dean asked. "Honestly? 'Cause you'd mess it up. You shoot first, ask questions later, and we needed to ask questions." Sam said. "You know, I-I don't care if you've got soullessness or the freakin' mumps, man -- You know better than this! Do you even want your soul back?" Dean said. "How does that have anything to do with this?" Sam asked confused. "Have you been to the place where Samuel takes them? I mean, have you been in on these interrogations?" Dean asked. "No, but I hear them." Sam said. "And why? And did it ever occur to you that this is really shady?" Alison said. "He's my, Dean, and Mae's grandfather." Sam said. "I'm sure Mae would rather drown than say she's related to Samuel." Kara said. "Yeah. Yeah, a guy who talks a great game. But you can't assume that family means the same thing to him as it does to us. He's not Dad. Wow. You don't see it, do you?" Dean said. "What?" Sam asked. "You've got no instinct. I mean, you are seriously messed up." Dean said. I hung up. "Samuel is a monster." Sammi said. "Figuratively and literally." Hermes said. "Hello everyone." Siren said showing up making us scream. "Siren we thought you died." Ricky said. "I'm alive bitches. Also come along." Siren said and we were at a table with Crowley and Siren. "What we gave you your bones." I said. "I know, Mouse come on." Crowley said and dragged us to a room. "This dude is a dick." Sammi said. "We know." Ricky and I said. "Well, that was dramatic." Crowley said. "Crowley?" Sam said shocked. "Hello, Waywards. What an unexpected treat." Crowley said. "Bring Christian back now." Samuel said. "Wow not even release my granddaughter and her friends?" Siren asked. "Siren?" Kara asked. "I'm sorry?" Crowley asked. "My nephew! The one you just crammed a demon into!" Samuel said. "Oh. No. I had him possessed ages ago. Samuel, really. I keep an eye on my investments." Crowley said. "Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, wait. You three know each other?" Dean asked. "Not in the biblical sense. More of a business relationship, I'd say." Siren said. "You're Siren and Crowley's bitch." Crystal said. "It's not what you think." Samuel said. "It's precisely what you think. That alpha he's caught me is getting him a gold star." Siren said. "Do you know how wrong that sounds out of your mouth." Alison said. "Since when do you give a crap about vampires?" Kara asked. "Since, uh... What's today -- Friday? Since, let's see -- mind your business." Crowley said. "You may as well share with the class, Crowley and Siren. We know you're looking for Purgatory." Sam said. "So you heard about that?" Siren asked. "Yeah. You want to tell us why?" Sam said. "Isn't it obvious? Location, location, location. I'm a developer. Purgatory is vast, underutilized, and hell-adjacent, and we want it." Siren said. "What for?" I asked. "Best shut your gob. Employees don't question management." Crowley said. "Um, Mr. Crowley you kidnapped us." Sammi said. "We ain't your employees." Dean said. "Of course you are! Have been for some time now, thanks to gramps. I don't keep Captain Chromedome around for his wit, do I? Samuel knows things. More than any of you, actually. Walking encyclopedia of the creepy and the crawly. And I knew... You two are so hung up on family-loyalty nonsense, he said jump, you'd get froggy." Siren said. "Yeah, well, the game's over." Dean said. "Yeah, well, afraid not, not if you want to see my doppelgänger's soul ever again." Siren said shrugging. "You're bluffing." Sam said. "Tell them, Samuel." Crowley said. "He pulled me back, me and had the demon take Sam's soul." Samuel said. "What? You knew?" Sam said. "Oh this makes me want to punch you harder than I wanted to do." I said. "No, Cas and Marina say it takes big-time mojo to pull something like that off, and you're nothing but a punk-ass crossroads demon." Dean said. "Was a punk-ass crossroads demon. Now? King of hell with Siren. Believe me, I've got the mojo. I snap my fingers, Sam gets his soul back. Or you can be... You, and I shove Mae right back in the hole. Can't imagine what it's like in there... and I can imagine so many things. So, we clear? Me, Charlie... you, angels. Job's simple enough -- bring me creatures. Aim high on the food chain, please. Everybody wins. It's been a pleasure. See you soon." Crowley said. "You're letting a demon call the shots?" Gwen asked. "Not shocked." I said shaking my head. "Nothing's changed. We hunt. Period. Don't worry about him. I'll take care of it. You trust me or not? Get the van, Gwen." Samuel ordered the girl. "Working with a demon, huh? You're not who I thought you were." Sam said. "You don't know anything about me, son." Samuel said. "So, what's so important that you're the king of hell's cabana boy, huh? What'd he offer you? Girls? Money? Hair?" I said. "I got my reasons. You gonna make a move, go ahead." Samuel said. "Or what?" Crystal asked. "Or nothing. I'm not gonna do anything to you, kids. You boys... you're my family. So the way I see it, you got two choices -- Put a bullet in your grandfather or step aside." Samuel said. "Well considering you didn't see me as family, gladly." I said shrugging. "He sold us out." Sam said cocking a gun. "We know. Let it go." Crystal said. "Why?" Sam said. "Get out of here." Dean said. We left. "So, what now?" Sam asked. "We can't work for Crowley and Siren." Kara said. "Are you sure about that?" Crystal asked. "I don't think you understand. Demons bone you every time." Alison said. "Oh, no, we get it. we do, believe us." Kara said. "Just running the math -- Do we really have another choice?" Sam said. "We could stab him in his throat." Ricky said. "And get my soul back how? I'm just saying, seems like we got to play ball, at least for the moment." Sam said. "I have done some stupid things in my time, but punching a demon's clock?" Ricky said. "Look, just till we find another way." Sam said. "And then?" I asked. "And then we track Crowley down and give that son of a bitch what's coming to him. You with me, guys?" Sam asked. "Can I still kill Samuel afterwards?" I asked. "Sure." Sam said. I smiled.

I'm a Veteran Adventurer in a World without Healing Magic.
It's a fantasy world just like any other, orcs, elves, monsters, adventurer's guilds... Just one catch, though: there's no such thing as healing magic. Get a nasty wound from the monster you're fighting? There's nothing to patch you up, not so much as a red potion or a cure light wounds spell! All you can rely on are mundane medical procedures to help you get back on your feet. And those don't come cheap! You can probably guess that injuries that in other worlds would be minor are rather costly in one where the priest class doesn't exist. What kind of dungeoneering community springs up in an atmosphere where a simple cut can mean lethal infection? How do dungeon crawlers find workarounds when conventional combat proves too dangerous? A veteran warrior who senses his time is near puts to pen a final record, a shocking tell-all about his adventuring career...
