It has been up to a week since the incident. I tried to wrap up the project quickly. I wanted my peace as quickly as possible.

My phone screen brightened as my notifications poured in.

I noticed I got a text from Aliyah, which made me roll my eyes. Those betrayers gave her my number.

"Hey I edited the copy you sent to me, check your mail" it reads

I was already at my desk, organising our presentation. I added the soft copy she sent after going through it.

After organising all the copies I sent the attachment to her saying

"Print yours"

I made sure to print mine and an extra copy incase we're asked to submit one.

I sighed in relief. By tomorrow, everything that has to do with Aliyah would be over and I'll return to my sweet sweet peace.

I smiled at the thought of that

My phone beeped and I noticed she sent a text

"Seen. Hope you're ready for tomorrow?"

I stared at the text a bit longer than planned. Wait was I thinking of sending a reply?

I frowned tossing my phone. I turned on my mp3 player.

Presentation went smoothly and I had lunch next. I usually maintained my lunch break tradition by visiting the library, and since I had no classes after that I would wait till Ben was done with his classes to meet up with him at the park

Today was a bit different. I went to the open field. Noticing no around, I laid under the bleachers with my airpods plugged in.

It only took 5minutes for 'Miss I'm too happy' to disturb my peace.

"Fancy meeting you here" she said smiling down at me.

I stared at her sleepily. Decided I was not interested, I closed my eyes. Maybe she would just leave.

Boy was I wrong.

I noticed someone getting comfortable close to me and this made me shoot up staring at her blankly

"What do you want?" I asked bored and tired

She giggled

This girl and giggling

"You know... " she started, smiling

"This is my spot"

I rolled my eyes. I wanted to leave but I was too tired to do that so I laid back and decided to ignore her for the rest of this period.

"What are you listening to" she asked me.

I closed my eyes. That's right just ignore her and she'll go away.

"You've known me for over a week now, you should at least reply me" she said sounding hurt

I opened my eyes to meet hers already staring at mine.

"The weekend, Blinding lights" I replied bored

Why did I even care.

She smiled and became giddy.

"I love The weekend. I have all his album" she said smiling revealing her dimples. I noticed her cheeks getting red and my blank stare turned into a curious one

"Why are you getting red" I asked dryly.

She smiled shyly averting her gaze.

I looked at her again. Whatever. I rolled to my sides closing my eyes once more enjoying my music.

An Idea came to mind and I turned

"Can I have your phone?" I asked trying not to look suspicious.

She looked at me suspiciously but gave me anyways, not bothering to check what I was doing with it.

I opened her contact, seeing my name, deleting it immediately. I scrolled to messages, deleting our message history. She hasn't called my number so no need to check call logs.

When I was done I handed her the phone

"Take" I said as dry as possible. Standing up slightly the moment she took the phone. I proceeded to leave

"What did you do" she asked in amusement.

This got me to smirked, so I shrugged and left, taking my time as always.
