《Pranking The Bad Boy》Chapter 28.

"Swear to god! They were all so mad about it!" Mike explained while laughing.
The whole team was sitting in the cafeteria and eating lunch. Instead of going outside like we usually did, Ryder, Isla, Blake and I decided to sit with the team to 'celebrate' the win.
All the boys were really into the conversation but from the corner of my eye, I could see Blake reaching down his hand under the table and holding Isla's. She started to blush but couldn't help the small smile on her face.
I also smiled at their cuteness.
Then, someone behind us cleared their throat loudly and we all turned around to see who it was.
Standing in front of us was Ashlin and her little group of friends.
"Hello, Ryder," she said and batted her eyes at him in a flirty way.
The team snickered while Ryder rolled his eyes. "Yes, Ashlin?"
"Oh, I just wanted to know when you want to hook--meet up again," she replied and tried to send him a seductive look but failed miserably.
I started to laugh at her failed attempt of turning Ryder on but covered it up with a cough when she shot me a dirty look.
"Well?"
"Ashlin. I'm only saying this once more. I am not interested in you. Never have been, never will. Go find someone else to prey on," Ryder said and continued to eat his lunch.
"So you'll call me?"
He groaned and stopped eating to turn back around. "You see this?" he asked and picked up my hand, holding it up and showing that we were holding hands. "I have a girlfriend. You might like to cheat on your boyfriends but I'm not that type."
Ashlin scoffed. "That's your "girlfriend" ," she asked. Making quotation marks around the word 'girlfriend' with her fingers.
"Unless you know another name for it," Ryder replied.
The whole time I was just eating my fries and watching this go on. What? I was hungry. And I was not going to let this clingy toddler keep me from eating my lunch. Yes, I love food. Deal with it.
Ashlin glared at me and then looked back to Ryder. "So you left her for me?"
"Ashlin!" he groaned. "I didn't leave you. We were never together! Get that through your thick skull!"
She looked like she was gonna blow. If we were in a cartoon she would have a face as red as a tomato and steam coming out of her ears.
She stomped over to where I was sitting and took my fries from me.
"Hey!" I exclaimed.
But before I could finish complaining she dumped the fries, including ketchup, on my head.
I gasped and slowly look up at her face. Ashlin looked at me with a smirk. In return, I scowled at her and stood up to be face to face with her.
"Oh you did not just do that," I drew out.
"What are you gonna do about it, slut?" Ashlin asked.

Before she even knew what was happening, I grabbed one of the guy's soda cups and dumped the rest of the soda that was in there over her head.
She stood there, drenched in coke.
"My new shirt!" she shrieked. "You ruined it!"
"Oh honey, I didn't ruin it," I replied.
I got the plate where once buffalo wings had been on and smeared the left over sauce across her shirt.
"Now I ruined it."
Ashlin's jaw dropped to the ground and I could hear Ryder snicker behind me.
"You bitch!" She lunged at me, making both of us fall to the ground.
She started to claw at my face with her fake nails but luckily I was able to block her hands and keep them from my face.
I turned us over so that I was leaning over her and she started to pull my hair. Sheesh. Catfight much? If you're gonna fight, actually fight.
So what do I do? I punch her. Lightly, of course. I didn't need her suing me for breaking her like second or third nose.
Suddenly, I get pulled off of her and get held back by someone.
"Let me go! I wanna finish the bitch," I said and fought against the tight hold.
I heard someone chuckle. "Easy there, tiger."
Ryder. Of course. I mean, who else would be brave enough to get between me in a fight.
"What is going on here?!" a teacher called and ran to where Ashlin was laying in the floor.
"She...she just attacked me! I was just walking by and she jumped at me!" Ashlin accused.
"What?!" I yelled and fought agains Ryder's hold who tightened it even more. "You've got to be kidding me! You started all of this!"
"Both of you, in the principle's office. Right now!" the teacher ordered and walked to the office, wanting for us to follow her.
Ryder let me go and I glared at Ashlin before stomping after the teacher.

"I can't believe you manage to get suspended the first day back," Ryder said and playfully rolled his eyes.
"It wasn't my fault," I scowled, not finding any of this as funny as Ryder did.
After we went to see the principle, Ashlin tried to sell the idea that I had started it. The principle however didn't believe her. Thank the lord!
So he just gave both of us a two day suspension.
And now, Ryder and I were standing in the parking lot by our bikes, not really feeling like going home yet.
"Aw, it'll be alright."
Ryder started to pet my head and I slapped his hand away, which only resulted in him laughing his ass off.
I rolled my eyes. "I don't see how any of this is so amusing."
Ryder sobered up and looked at me, but still having a big smile on his face. "Because. You literally fought some girl after she threw food on you and managed to get suspended."

I shrugged. "I liked how my hair looked today."
Behind Ryder I saw Ashlin walking out of the school with her friends. I must say, I did do a little damage. Her cheek was swollen and her lip was a little busted. But that might just be because she tried to seductively bite her lip at my boyfriend when she saw him waiting outside of the office for me.
Ryder turned around to see what I'm looking at and chuckled. "I've gotta say. You pack a pretty good punch."
"Heck yeah, I do," I said and glared at Ashlin.
"But hey, consider yourself lucky. You don't have to go to school for two days while everybody else has to listen to some boring lecture."
I sighed and looked back at Ryder. "You know my parents are gonna kill me. So this will probably be the last time that you see me," I said with full seriousness.
Ryder rolled his eyes. "You'll be fine. Come here."
I walked over to where he was standing and he grabbed my waist to pull my closer. He kissed me before pulling away and getting on his bike.
"You sure you wanna go home?" I asked while handing him his helmet.
Apparently the situation at home still hasn't gotten any better so I could image that Ryder didn't want to really go home.
"I don't know. I might just drive around or maybe grab something to eat."
"You know you can always come to my house," I reminded him.
"I know. See you tomorrow baby."
He turned on his bike and I waved before he drove out of the parking lot and down the street. I let out a quiet sigh and turned back to my bike to see Ashlin and two of her friends standing there.
I groaned, showing off how much I disliked her presence. "What do you want, Ashlin?" I asked.
"I don't know how he could think that a girl riding a motorcycle is hot," she said while looking at my bike in a judging way.
Hey! Get your eyes off my bike before I rip them out of your head!
"Anyway," she continued, looking up at me. "I just want you to know that Ryder is and always will be mine. You can't change anything about that. Alright?" She turned around and walked away, her friends following her, before I could even answer.
"If you love drama so much go to an acting class," I muttered under my breath and got on my bike.

"Heyyyy, brother. What's up? You good? I'm good. Do anything interesting today?" I rambled as I stood in the doorway of Dylan's room.
He looked up from his phone and gave me a funny look. "You okay?"
"Totally! Why wouldn't I be? It's a beautiful day, which means there shouldn't be any bad moods which means please help me not get killed because of something I did."
So here's my plan. Make Dylan help me tell my parents that I've been suspended so they won't kill their child in the presence of another. And if they decide that they don't care if another child is there, I could always use Dylan to protect me.
Dylan, now giving me his full attention, turned off his phone and stood up. "What did you do?"
I tucked a strand of hair behind my ear. "Umm, I might or might not have gotten suspended."
"Oh. I thought you were going to say that you got expelled or killed someone," Dylan replied and shrugged it off.
Was he serious? This was not something to joke around with.
"You do know that mom and dad are gonna kill me," I said.
Dylan rolled his eyes. "Please. You're their only daughter. The worst they would do is lock you up in your room and only feed you bread and water."
"That doesn't make me feel any better."
"You'll be fine."
Why does everybody say that?

"Hey boyfrieeeeeend," I said into Dylan's phone.
I saw Dylan roll his eyes while typing on his computer.
I was currently laying on Dylan's bed with his phoned pressed to my ear.
Dinner went better than expected. I didn't get locked in the basement or strangled to death so I'm taking that as a win.
"Uh, hey princess. Should I be concerned as to why you're calling me from Dylan's phone? If I come over right now would I see him tied up and drugged in the corner of a room? "
I rolled my eyes even though Ryder couldn't see me.
"Okay I'm not that violent."
"You got suspended because you fought someone."
"Ugh. Whatever."
I heard Ryder chuckle. "Okay, then why are you calling me from Dylan's phone? "
"Because my parents grounded me and took away my phone while I'm suspended. And computer. And the freedom to see any of my friends."
"Oh. Well that's not that bad."
"Are you kidding me? I'm going to be bored out of my mind!" I exclaimed. "No phone, no TV, no nothing. Not even friends. It's the 21st century. How am I suppose to survive?"
I heard Ryder chuckle again at my silliness. "I think you'll make it."
"I don't know. This might be the last time you talk to me. You better remember this moment when I'm gone."
"Alright, sure. Of course I will." he said while laughing lightly. "Good night, darling."
I sighed. "Good night."
I hung up and tossed Dylan's phone next to me. I looked up and tried to see what Dylan was doing on his computer but rolled my eyes when I saw that he was just playing some game.
Sucks when you're siblings are so boring you could never catch them doing something interesting.
"Alright, well. I'm out," I said and rolled off his bed. "Have fun at school," I called and threw up a peace sign before leaving his room.
I walked into my room and lied down on my bed. Then, I thought of something and smiled to myself.
I woulldn't have to wake up early tomorrow.

A Will Eternal
A Will Eternal is the fourth major xianxia novel by the renowned Er Gen. It tells the tale of Bai Xiaochun, an endearing but exasperating young man who is driven primarily by his fear of death and desire to live forever, but who deeply values friendship and family. The story takes place in the same Universe as Er Gen's other novels, but is a separate story and can be read alone. That said, it does have connections to the other novels, especially I Shall Seal the Heavens. Those connections only pertain to a handful of chapters, so you can read the novel as a whole and enjoy it without first reading ISSTH. However, the best reading experience would begin with the later portions of ISSTH. This novel is much more comedic and light-hearted than Er Gen's previous works, although it has its fair share of action and drama.
