《Distraction》Oh shit

As you pull up to your house you notice Bucky's truck.
Bucky stood outside of it. Pacing around like a frantic maniac.
As soon as he notices the police car pull up, you watch as he sprints up and rushes towards it, practically yanking you out of your seat by the time you've barely unclipped your seatbelt. Pulling you into a desperate and brotherly tight, almost suffocating hug.
'I'm so sorry to hear about your father Daisy' Bucky says as his voice shakes a little.
You pull back from the hug and look up at him completely confused.
Bucky knew your father had died, so what could he possibly be...Oh.
You turn back to look at Steve who's awkwardly standing there, you realise.
'Steve rang when you were at the station...please don't be mad at him, he was just trying to...'
You pull Bucky back in and he kisses the top of your forehead as he keeps a firm hold onto you.
'I know Buck. Thankyou' you say sincerely.
As you look back you give Steve a sad smile but nod, letting him know it was okay, he nods back in relief and you can see him exhaling.
The officers then approach you and you once again nod. Giving them permission to enter your house.
You draw out your house key and head towards the home. But as you put the key in you notice the handle's a little loose.
You frown for a second before pushing down. The door swings open.
The officer immediately pulls you back, drawing a gun.
Steve takes your hand and you feel yourself relax slightly mentally, but you're entire body tenses. Steve hasn't taken his eyes off the worry in your face but your mind has gone blank. You can't focus. Why was your house unlocked?

The officers step inside first and call for 'Clear' making it known that you may also enter.
You look at Steve who nods and then at Bucky who also nods and takes your other hand for a brief moment, giving it a small squeeze.
You take a deep breath and head inside.
You gasp the moment you step through the door.
Bucky and Steve's eyes widen in completely disbelief.
The house was immaculate.
Every inch of it had been cleaned, the scent of lemon mixed with a strong bleach wafted under your nose. There wasn't a dust particle to be seen. All of the rubbish gone. The empty beer bottles and whisky bottles out of sight.
You spin around almost theatrically. This couldn't be real.
'I thought you said the house was in a state?' Officer Webber questions you, almost warily.
'It was' The three of you pant in unison, still dumbfounded.
The officer bites his lower lip in annoyance 'This will now be considered an interfered investigation, meaning whoever tampered with the evidence of the crime scene will be arrested and questioned, do you understand?'
You nod 'Of course!'
'It also means that it will now be incredibly difficult to find evidence and prints, meaning that...'
'Hold on' Bucky interrupts immediately
'Does that mean you want to able to catch the person responsible?' Steve butts in once he catches on.
You freeze. Your blood running cold at the thought. Your father's potential murderer, walking the streets? You felt nauseous and your face drained of colour. Steve put his arm around you for support. He could see you were feeling dizzy from the shaking of your legs.
Officer Webber sighed 'it's not impossible but the chances have now trimmed significantly. I'm sorry, but I have to ask you Daisy, is there anyone you can think of that could have done this?'

You think for a moment. You try to clear your mind from rushing a mile a minute. Your vision starts to blur and you start to see sparse speckles. You think you're going to collapse but you squeeze your eyes shut to try and turn off the sensation.
'No' You shake your head. You don't realise you're crying.
The men exchange looks and Steve pulls you closer.
'Excuse me boys, but what are you...Daisy?!'
Your head whips round and you look to see a tall and lean woman, long blonde hair flowing down past her shoulders. Plump luscious lips with a peach coloured gloss smeared across, you could see the slight wrinkles hanging under her eyes that were covered up in heavy makeup.
You all just look completely dazed and confused. The woman crosses her arms over her chest and pouts slightly before rolling her eyes and sighing.
'Well, aren't you going to give your mother a hug?' She states almost patronisingly.
Your eyes widen further.
'Oh shit' Bucky can't help but gasp out.
'Steve...' You mumble weakly, before everything goes black.

The Hunt
Cecily's blade swung, hitting its mark as always. The man's arm fell to the cold grass of the prison with a familiar thud. He let out a blood curdling scream. A warning to the rest. Stay away, the Hunter is here. That's the name they'd given her, the Hunter. After she cut off the man who tried to rape hers masculinity, they stayed away. She'd made it clear anyone who tried to touch her would be hunted and slaughtered. Cecily kneeled down, pushing the man's face into the dirt so she could use his back as a seat while she trifled through his belongings. "You're hurting my ears," she told him, no remorse in her voice. "Quiet down before I really do kill you."The man but his lip, well aware that she wasn't lying. Sobs shook him, making for an uncomfortable seat. She, however, didn't particularly feel the beed to kill him. It happened, not often, but it did. "Oh, hush up," she hissed, taking out a bag of rations with her metal hand, "it doesn't hurt that bad."With her good, human hand, she dropped the plastic bag of food into her own bag. She pushed up, off the man back. As she was about to walk away, bag slung over her shoulder, brushing against her autumn colored braid, she turned back to him. "Consider yourself lucky," she said, no hatred in her voice, there never was. "Consider yourself lucky that you didn't do anything stupid. And even luckier if one of the scum bagged criminals in here feel a little light in their hearts and help you. Consider yourself luckier if you die there."With that, her old black and white Nike sneakers carried her off into the brush of the huge prison.
