-Nikki P.O.V-
I woke up in the tent and Neil was sitting on his sleeping bag. He was reading Harry Potter, like always.
"Goodmorning, Neil" I said happily. He looked up from his book and smiled.
"Oh, hey, goodmorning." He said yawning. I got up and went to go get dressed. I came back to Neil who was now up and dressed, something was up.
"Hey, where did max go?" I questioned. Neil gave me a slight glare.
"I don't know I saw him go up to the dock this morning." He said and then walked over to his book again. He sat down with a slight frown on his face, and looked down at his book.
I thought about the way he looked down. A sudden chill went down my spine. Yesterday, max and Neil were in a fight.
"Neil, if this is about yester-" he cut me off.
"No nikki, just go." He turned around and put the book closer to him. I sadly turned away and walked outside the tent. I was walking to the dock where I saw a max kicking at the water. I started to think about yesterday, something felt odd about yesterday. And then I remembered, Gwen and David in the cabin. I had totally forgot, I had to keep it in. I knew what would happen if anyone found out, especially max. I kept walking towards the dock putting that thought in the back of my head. I finally walked onto the dock, max turned around and then went back to staring at the water.
"Hey, max." I said in a happy tone.
"Hey, nikki." He said quietly.
"So, why are you out here?" I asked.
"Nothing much, couldn't really sleep with what's happened yesterday." He rolled his eyes and looked at me standing above him. I sat down and looked out at the sun rising.

"Wow, that's so pretty!" I said happily.
"Yeah." He looked at me in the eyes and we started to talk.
"So, are you okay?" I asked slightly moving over to the other side of the dock.
"Yep, just tired." He moved closer to me. I felt a bit uncomfortable, but I stayed where I was. I was trying to change the subject but couldn't think of anything but last night when I saw Gwen and David.
"Hey, max... have you ever had to keep a really big secret before?" His eyes widened and his face expression changed to a smirk.
"A secret? Why are you keeping one right now?" He questioned.
"What? No! I was just wondering your one of my best friends so I was asking for advice." I lied.
"Well in that case yeah, I mean from my parents and stuff." He said looking down at the water again.
"Oh, okay I was just curious." I jokingly punched him and we both laughed. We made eye contact for a second and he pulled me in for a kiss. It happened so fast I couldn't do anything about it. I pulled away and got up.
"Are you okay?" He asked. I felt a clump in the back of my throat, I knew who I liked and it wasn't Max I felt bad so I shrugged it off and turned around.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I just ,um, wasn't expecting that." I honestly said.
"Oh okay, want to watch the rest of the sun rise." I shook my head and we both parted ways. My stomach felt like a pit I felt like I betrayed who I really liked. Now I had to keep 2 secrets in, but I don't think that's gonna last.

Not So Bold
A store clerk wakes up one day in a body not his own. Then wakes up back in his bed, it was just a dream. Right? He soon finds himself living a duel life, bouncing between his mundane life as a shelf stuffer and a strange new one. One where he has floppy ears and itty bitty paws. Notice of Hiatus: At the moment I'm going though a bit of turbulence and won't be able to update for a while. I'm also unsure about weekly/monthly releases. I'm considering writing a large group of chapters then posting them all at once or otherwise setting up releases in a way that makes sense. I'm still figuring out how to go about this particular endevor and thank you for your patience.
