We were sitting on the activities field while everyone was doing the activities. Well almost all of us... me and Neil and max were sitting on a bench. Max looked very upset and so did Neil. There was a long pause and both boys were turned form each other, I was in the middle so no one was looking at me and I felt oddly placed. Max had a irritated face on. And Neil finally turned his head with a Sympathetic look drawn on his face. He then started to talk.
"Max, listen I'm sorry I wasn't thinking about you and your my best friend and I would never do anything to hurt you." Neil said guiltily. Max nodded and looked down.
"I'm sorry Neil, I was just being...stupid." It took max a couple moments to figure out his words. Although, Neil didn't know the truth I did. Max looked up and gave a sort of wonky smile.
"Oh, you guys! We're being ridiculous!" I said stating the obvious. I pulled them both in for a hug. Instead of max or Neil pulling away they stayed hugging me for a little while. I felt so happy and secure and glad that everything was over. Everyone was happy, or so I hoped.

Now it was just us, me, David, and Jordan. Stupid fucking Jordan, An ignorant piece of shit. I didn't even like him not one bit. My mom had told him where to find me so I was forced to go find him or he would find me first. I forgot to leave David a note or a call when I left. At this point I was so done with my mom. She was trying to get this guy to marry me. And over the phone apparently told him that I was going to marry him soon without my approval! My parents never gave a fuck about me anyways. They just wanted to marry me to some random guy they find. And here was their pic, a shitty beat up, broke, drunk off his ass man. And they wanted their "precious" daughter to marry him. I was so scared of Jordan to though. I honestly didn't want him here, I just wanted to talk it out with David. Jordan was looking out at the activities field through the window while David walked over to me.
"Gwen who is this guy?" He asked in a annoyed tone.
"Some guy my mom tried to set me up with, he's a jerk." I said looking at the ground, trying to avoid David's eyes. I always seemed to do that I never really realized until now.
"Did you try to hurt you?" David asked worry on his face.
"Not exactly, but something happened." I said avoiding eye contact still.
"What?" David questioned. Jordan was starting to walk over. I pulled David in so I could whisper in his ear and Jordan wouldn't hear.

"We will talk about this when he leaves, hopefully forever." I whispered with a sharp tone in my voice.
"Nice camp you got." Jordan said with his fake naïve smile on.
"Well, Jordan I'll see you Friday night then." I asked hoping he would leave.
"Yeah." He said with a irritated tone. He gave David a look and walked out towards his car.
"Finally! That garbage is gone!" I said relieved. David gave me a look and went outside. Usually, he would agree with me or do something. But clearly something was bothering him. I confusedly followed him. When I got there everyone was getting along for once. Nothing crazy was happing there was just peacefulness in the air. I took a deep breath and walked away. It seemed David had this. I wasn't looking forward to me and David's "talk" later.

I couldn't believe Gwen went out with some dude her mom "hooked her up" with. I don't understand why her mom would do this to her. He was just so unfit for her, in so many ways. It was about 10:00 am. We still had a whole day to deal with. But there was something weird going on it was peaceful a little to peaceful.
I went to make sure all the campers went in their tents and didn't try to cause chaos in the middle of the night. I had been thinking about Gwen all day, what did Jordan do to her? That's all I could think about. I was about to leave when I heard someone whispering my name.
"David! .....David!" It was clearly Nikki's voice. I went over to the tent and saw a little frizzy green haired girl come out of the opening.
"Yes, Nikki?" I asked politely waiting for an answer.
"Who was that person you and Gwen were with, was it a parent?!" She enthusiastically asked.
"Don't worry about it Nikki, adult stuff." I said hoping that would cure her wonder.
"Dang it! That's what my mom always says." She said as she zipped up the tent and went inside. I was a little worried about what Nikki's mom told Nikki, it seemed a little too mature for her age. I stayed for another couple minutes and then started to walk back to the cabin. I walked through the door to see Gwen sitting on a chair.
"Hey." I said awkwardly.
"Hi." She directed her attention to the window.
"So are you gonna tell me what happened with Jordan?" I asked taking a seat in my bed which wasn't to far from the chair.
"If you really want to know." She said gesturing with her hand.
"Yeah, especially if your gonna "Marry" this Guy." I joked. But Gwen didn't laugh back and looked at me now.

(Earlier that day)
I was fast asleep and heard my phone buzzing, it was most likely a wrong number because I hadn't set an alarm for this morning. My phone had repeated to buzz 8 more times until I was really awake then. I picked it up and it was my mom. I looked over to see David still asleep and decided to step outside so I wouldn't wake him.

"Mom, what do you want it's 6:00 in the morning." I annoyingly said.
"Well, I know you won't like it but I think we found you a match!" She exclaimed excitedly.
"Mom, I already told you NO. I CAN LIVE MY LIFE." I said while I was about to hang up. Until I heard her say something that startled me.
"And he's gonna come meet you downtown to where you are in a hour or so at that hotel." She excitedly said.
"WHAT." I angrily stated.
"Yeah, I know your busy working as a camp counselor but I thought it might be a good little break." She said guilt in her voice.
"MOM, why would you let a stranger come meet me. I don't even know who he is!" I expressed.
"I just thought maybe you would like a break." She said in a annoyed tone.
"What time did you say I HAVE to meet this guy." I asked more irritated than before.
"In a hour or so." She said. As much as I didn't want to meet this guy there was no backing down because he would be in this town sooner or later.
"UGH." I hung up the phone and went into the cabin to grab some clothes other than pajamas. I was in such a annoyed rush I didn't even think to leave David a note or a phone message.
I went into town and was irritated the whole way there. My mom just needs to figure out I don't want to get married right now and want to figure out my own life. I pulled into the small hotel in town. I didn't even know who this man was but I was guessing he would know me knowing my mom. A man walked over who was tall and had dark brown hair.
"Are you Gwen?" He asked with a flirt on his face.
"Yes, and I'm guessing my mother sent you. Look I know she is trying to set me up with a guy but I'm not really ready for marriage and I'm gonna ask you to just go." I said as I was about to pull open my car door to leave I was whipped around and pinned against my car. It was the most scary thing I've experienced.
"What are you doing! Get off me right now!" I screamed.
"Maybe you don't want me to be with you but your mother has a deal with me." He said a smirk across his face.
He grossly touched my hair and then let me go.
"My names Jordan by the way." He said as if nothing had just happened. In complete shock I opened my car door and he jumped in with me. At that moment I wanted to be with David and even with annoying irritating max. I wanted to be as far ways from this pervert as I could be. I snapped out of it and looked at him.
"Get the fuck out of my car." I stated.
He grabbed me by the arm and almost twisted it. I yelled in pain, I tried to yank his arm off me. I was so scared at this point and thought of the worse things that could happen at any moment.
"I can do whatever I want, your nothing to me. Just improves my deal with your mom." He smirked and let go of me. My whole wrist was red and he had pulled hard. I just wanted to be with David now. He would never EVER treat me like that. I was so scared I just drived. I didn't know what he could do to me or what he would have if I refused any longer.
-David P.O.V-
"How could be do that!" I yelled in anger.
"Listen, David we can't do anything about it right now." I said sadly.
"Yes we can! I'm not letting you marry that jerk!" I was standing now anger was flowing thru me. I had never felt this way before. Gwen sat with her knees tucked to her chest. She put her head down and started to cry.
"I can't, marry him. Even if he is a jerk I'm not ready to marry." She said sobbing. I sat down on the floor and put my hand on her shoulder. I was calmed down now.
"It's gonna be okay-" I was cut off by a quick kiss on my cheek. Gwen turned towards the window. My whole face was pink and I couldn't believe that just happened. I just patted her back and got up.
"Thanks David." She said still looking at the window. I knew she was hiding a blush too.
"Anything for my CBFL." I chuckled and went towards my bed. Gwen chuckled too and got up to go to bed as well.
-Nikki P.O.V-
I couldn't believe it, I was hiding in the bushes spying on Gwen and David I had to know what was going on with that guy. And I caught Gwen kiss him on the cheek. I was wrong about earlier now. Not everyone is happy. One thing I know is that max and Neil can't find out about this. I ran towards the cabin to go to sleep I ran under my sleeping bag and rolled over close to Neil. I tried to go to sleep. But knowing everyone was unhappy was not a great feeling.

My class [Death Knight] is just barely legal...
Ever since meeting his uncle, Arthur has pushed himself daily to achieve an arbitrary goal. He trained like nobody else did, longer than anybody else could. He neglected his personal relationships to pursue something he didn't even understand, in hindsight. When the time came for his class awakening ritual, he was ready. He was ready to receive a powerful starting class and to break free from his boring lifestyle. Well, you know what they say, "Be careful what you wish for, lest your wish be granted." Arthur was assigned the death knight class, which is just barely, technically, maybe legal. With it, he learns about what drove him to such simple minded ambition in the first place: his affinity. Now, he's faced with a dilemma: will he embrace it, or reject it? 'My class [Death Knight] is just barely legal' is a laid back story with occasional tension, that describes Arthur, a young man, exploring the world, the system and his own mental health as he pursues his ambitions. This story is the first serious fiction I ever wrote, so while criticism is definitely welcomed, keep it polite. I'm going to rewrite the first few chapters at some point, since they're not as good as my later ones, but I'm focusing on my current chapters first. I don't have time to do both yet, since I'm also in the middle of my exams. What to expect from this story: -Litrpg elements -A chaotic good aligned protagonist (that starts off as a neutral good protagonist) -(Hopefully) interesting characters. What not to expect from this story: -Grimdark elements -Harem -An enslaved protagonist. (I mention this due to the background of the mc's class) Release schedule: 1 chapter every other day, 2pm European time (14:00) Join the discord here: https://discord.gg/YHZFB4HMHD

After that, it will probably become a lot more fast-paced and incorporate real story progression.
