I had only known for sure that I was pregnant for a couple of days. I had finally resolved myself to tell Jimin. I was a nervous wreck but the following morning, I planned to tell him. I had prepared myself as best I could and ran through a million different scenarios in my head. This was one scenario I hadn't thought of.
I woke up in the middle of the night in terrible pain. I gasped for air. I couldn't catch my breath. Something wasn't right. No, something was really really wrong. I was hit with another stab of pain and this time it was accompanied by nausea. I screamed out in pain and Jimin was jolted out of sleep next to me.
"Dia?" He was startled, wiping the sleep from his eyes and trying to make sense of what was happening.
"Jimin, get Jess!" I cried out, grabbing my stomach. Something was really wrong. This wasn't supposed to happen.
Jimin scrambled off the bed and flung the bedroom door open. Minutes later, Jess ran into the room followed by a confused JHope and a worried Jimin.
"Dia? Sweetheart, what is wrong?" Jess took my hand and looked me over from head to toe, zeroing in on where I was holding my stomach. I looked at her and the fear in her eyes matched my own.
"Jess," I wailed, "something is wrong"
"Okay, sweetie. Just hang in there. You'll be okay." Jess turned around towards the boys, taking charge of the situation. "We need to get her to the hospital quick."
"hospital?" Jimin questioned.
I was hit with another wave of pain and cried out as I held onto my stomach. My baby. I hadn't even told him yet.

"What the hell is going on? Why does she need the hospital?" Jimin questioned with a terrified look on his face. He made his way over to the other side of the bed and crawled up next to me, trying to figure out what to do. He seemed like he was afraid to touch me. Hoseok was already on the phone with Jae-Ho to get the car ready.
Jess had helped me put some sweatpants on and she and Jimin lifted me up off the bed. The moment my feet hit the floor, I was assaulted with another blinding pain and my legs gave out. Jimin scooped me up into his arms and we started to make our way down the stairs and to the car. Jess was right beside us, holding my hand the entire time with Hoseok following closely behind.
We were out the front door when Jimin spoke up again through clenched teeth, "What does she need a hospital for, Jess?"
"I'm pregnant." I spoke up through gritted teeth, "this isn't how I wanted to tell you."
Jimin stopped suddenly in his tracks, his face became ghostly white as he looked down at me. Hobi and Tae, who had just wandered out because of the commotion, both paused, whipping their heads around to look at Jimin and me in shock.
I looked up at him through tears, not knowing what else to say. I was frustrated at the turn of events. I should have told him sooner. All I knew is that it couldn't have come from someone else. He couldn't hear that from Jess.
"Jimin, we need to go." Jess reminded him quietly.
He sprang into action as Jess opened the car door and Jimin gently set me down in the backseat. He buckled me in and began to walk around to the other side of the car when Jae-Ho stopped him.

"I'm sorry, Sir. But I cannot allow you to accompany her."
"What?"
"I'm sorry, Sir. We can't risk it."
"That's bullshit"
"He's right, Jimin" Tae spoke carefully, "It wouldn't be good for you or Dia. Think of what would happen to her if word got out."
"Fuck!"
I could hear the voices outside of the car and thinking of not having Jimin there with me just added to the devastation. I couldn't even say a word. The pain had grown to be too much. I broke down in sobs as the debate continued. Time was running out and in the end, Jess ended up in the car with me as we raced to the hospital.

8 99Isekai: A Tale of The Ordinary
A man, who died of being crushed by a wrecking ball, is happy he's finally about to embark on his own isekai journey. Though lady luck was not on his side, through an unfortunate string of events, he became the source of entertainment for a goddess. Though it may sound nice, "nice" is definitely the last word he'd use to describe what's about to happen to him. Isekai cults, the wrath of the gods, execution on day one, and a very mean dog, all of that is happening to him in order to appease the goddess that sent him to another world. — Hey all! Forgive me if there’s any grammatical error in this (English is not my first language). I made this story just to vent out my frustrations and spew out anything that’s in my brain. Criticisms are welcomed! Just don't be so mean about it.
