Thankfully, my dad always taught me how to wire a car. Maybe he thought we were gonna be criminals but ... it's sure coming in handy now.

I wired the car just as a walker was reaching for me through the window. The sound was unbelievably loud but i was doing this for the others.

As Maggie and the others watched me go from the roof, i speedily traveled around the city away from the building they were at. I stopped and took off my backpack to get the map out. I placed it in the passenger seat and glanced every 2 minutes at it.

A few minutes later and i see Glenn and the others in the van, driving past me. I look at the driver and see him, Glenn's friend. If i'm honest, i don't actually remember his name but he was ... .

As the others turn down another block my car rams into the herd infront of me. Their deadly faces all slowly turn their bodies to look at me. Oh boy.

I quickly reverse and lead the herd elsewhere slowly. The noise was blaring, they wont be able to resist.

Minutes upon minutes pass and you decide to pick up the pace.I drive around the city once more and make your way to the highway. Luckily, I led the walkers around the city once more so they won't follow.

I arrive at the camp marked on my map and stop to turn the alarm off.

There were so many people. So many ... survivors. Before i met Maggie, i felt like i was alone. Other than my siblings and ... Lizzie and Mika. I feel guilty for not thinking about them. I hope they're okay too.

You get out of the car and a old man steps out infront of you.

Old man: "Now who are you? Not to be rude but you could've just led thousands of walkers right our way thanks to your stupid car!" he exclaims.

Glenn appears behind him: "Hey hey Dale. They're with us. They're apart of the new recruits."

y/n: "Glenn!" you walk up to him and hold his shoulder.

y/n: "Maggie? Princess? Are they okay?"

Maggie: "We're fine silly." she says with open arms.

You sigh and giggle as you walk towards Maggie. You both hug as Princess joins.

Princess: "We were so worried about you y/n! Are you okay?"

y/n: "i'm-"

Dale: "Did you get bit?!" he exclaims behind you.

y/n: "What? No. And i'm okay Princess." you say.

Glenn: "Come and meet everyone." he puts his arm around you and walks you closer to the camp.

Glenn: "Guys! This is y/n. They were the distraction that led us to all coming back to camp. They're the reason why we're here right now." he smiles and says.

Everyone claps their hands as they smile at you. Even k- kids. I was surprised to see that there were kids here. It's like when i saw Lizzie and M-Mika... wow. I miss them. They would've loved it here.

Young boy: "Thankyou for bringing my daddy home." he says as he holds onto his father.

y/n: "You're welcome." you say smiling.

Glenn holds your back and walks over to new people to introduce you to others.

Whilst you're being introduced to the others you feel a pair of eyes on you. You turn around to see a dark haired man watching you. His blue eyes fixed upon you.

y/n: "Thankyou for introducing me to everyone Glenn. And for getting Maggie and Princess here." you hug him and whisper: "Treat Maggie right."

You pull away as he confusingly looks at you with a smile. You let out a chuckle and walk away.

You make your way to another woman with her child.

y/n: "Hey. Do you mind if i sit?"

Woman: "Sure."

You examine the camp and smile in the sun. The woman was sitting on the logs on the ground, next to the fire where food was cooking.

y/n: "What's cooking?"

Woman's daughter: "It's fish!" she smiles.

She looked around the same age as Lizzie. Petite and kind hearted.

y/n: "Really? It smells delicious!" i say and smile back.

Woman's daughter: "My names Sophia! Whats yours?"

y/n: "Hi sophia, i'm y/n." you say.

You look at the woman and ask: "What's your name?"

Woman: "Carol." she smiles.

y/n: "It's nice meeting you carol. If you ever need a hand with washing clothes or cooking then i'd be happy to hel-"

Man: "She don't need ya help ya whore. Now get on with it!" he says rudely standing behind Carol and pushing her back.

Carol and Sophia looked terrified as he stood over them both.

y/n: "Excuse me?" you raise your voice and an eyebrow.

Carol: "y/n it's okay just leave." she holds your hand as you get up from the log beside Carol.

y/n: "Who the fuck are you talking too like that huh?"

Man: "You don't wanna find out, skank." he says with a screwed up face and spits at you.

That's it.

y/n: "Sophia love, is it okay if you close your eyes and turn around for me?"

Sophia does as she's told as Carol asks for this to stop again. No man will ever disrespect me or her again.

You step over the log and face him. As you step over, he punches you in the face.

Blood. Blood comes ravelling out of your cheek.

y/n: "Is that all you got?" you say as you wipe the blood off and lick it with a smile on your face.

He swings for you again but your tactics kick in. You dodge and kick him in the stomach. He wheezes from pain before you uppercut him. It hurts but i like it.

He pushes you and gets you on the ground. You see his fist raise in the air to punch you but you move your head which leads to him punching the ground. You kick him in the stomach and headbutt him as he hovers on top of you. Carol cries and screams as you managed to punch him until his eyes swells.

You then feel a set of hands pull you off of him. You turn around and it was ... someone i don't know?

The man pulls you away and stands in front of you.

Man: "If you ever disrespect anyone here again. I'll finish you off instead." he threatens with his gun before putting it down. He then turns to look at you. His blue eyes piercing looking through you. He was absolutely g-

Maggie: "y/n!!" she shouts running towards you.

Carol's cries silence you. Guilt. That's what i felt.

Maggie comes towards you and the man is pushed out of the way. I stand on my tiptoes trying to see him but he went into his tent.

Maggie: "Are you okay?" she holds my face worried.

Princess: "Damn y/n that was badass!!" she exclaims.

Maggie shoots her a look which silenced her.

y/n: "I'm okay." you say as you brush off her hands from your face.

You walk towards Carol and bend down to her.

y/n: "Carol i-"

Carol: "JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!" she wails in tears.

Sophia was sat on the log mortified.

y/n: "Sophia, are you-"

Carol: "Don't fucking talk to my daughter y/n. You're dangerous. NOW LEAVE!" she shouts in your face standing up. Sophia looks at you and is forced to stand behind her mother. What have i done...
