《Harry Hook X Reader X Carlos De Vil》Chapter 16

It's already Ben's coronation and the VK's are planning to get Fairy Godmother's wand.
Half of me wishes that it goes well but the other half wishes that it won't so we can stay here and have a happy life.
I was with Faith, Carlos, Evie, and Jay as we wait for Ben and Mal to arrive.
"You nervous?" Carlos asked as he held my hand in his.
"A little bit." I replied with a smile.
"Why would you be nervous? You aren't the one who will be King."
I gave Faith a look that meant her to stop.
"Okay, okay. Geez, just stating the truth."
She raised her hands in defense, making Carlos and I laugh.
Ben and Mal finally arrived at the castle, the only thing we're waiting for is the event to start.
Ben walked down the aisle, making us share nervous glances.
All of us bowed down as he walked by us.
This plan is nerve wracking.
We watched as Fairy Godmother put the King's crown on Ben's head, and when she grabbed her wand from the glass.
Mal looked over at us then back to Ben.
Is she really gonna steal the wand?
"Do you solemnly swear to govern the peoples of Auradon with justice and mercy as long as you shall reign?" Fairy Godmother asked as she held the wand infront of him.
"I do solemnly swear." Ben responded, smiling up at her.
"And it is my honor and my joy to bless our new king--"
Fairy Godmother was cut off by someone grabbing the wand from her.
All of us gasped to see Jane holding Fairy Godmother's wand, a surge of light shot out from it out of the castle.
The people around her backed away as Fairy Godmother rushed to her.
"Child! What are you doing?!"
Jane struggled at holding the wand as it continued to shoot out the light.
"If you won't make me beautiful, I'll do it myself!" Jane shouted at her mother, waving the wand around while Ben went to protect Mal.
"Bippity, boppity, boo!" Jane yelled, making Mal grab the wand from her.
The light disappeared and we rushed to where Mal is.
"Where are you going?"
I heard Faith ask but I didn't get to answer her.
We pushed the door open and stood next to Mal.
"Ben I said stand back!" She yelled at him.
"I told you so!" Audrey started but backed away again when Mal pointed the wand at her.
"Let's go." Carlos said.
"Revenge time." Jay muttered.
"(Y/N)! What are you doing with them?" Chad asked angrily next to Audrey.
"Do you really want to do this?" Ben asked Mal.
"We have no choice, Ben! Our parents--"
"Your parents made their choices, now you make yours." Ben cut her off, making us look at eachother.
"I think I wanna be good." Mal whispered, but loud enough that we can hear her.

"You are good!" Ben said, slowly moving closer to her.
"How do you know that?!" She shouted at him.
"Because... Because I'm listening to my heart!"
Mal froze at what Ben said, "I wanna listen to my heart too..."
"And my heart is telling me we are not our parents."
Mal turned to look at us with a laugh.
She looked at Jay.
"I mean, stealing things doesn't make you happy. Tourney and victory pizza with the team makes you happy."
I looked at him to see a smile on his face.
She then looked at me and Carlos.
"And you! Scratching Dude's belly makes you happy, who would've thought? And being in love with (Y/N) makes you happy too."
She laughed.
I looked at Carlos as he grabbed my hand and kissed it, we both shared a smile.
Mal then turned to Evie.
"And Evie... You do not have to play dumb to get a guy, you are so smart!"
They chuckled.
All of us had tears in our eyes right now.
"And I don't want to take over the world with evil, it doesn't make me happy. I wanna go to school..." She continued.
"And be with Ben." She added, making Ben look at her.
"Because Ben makes me really happy."
Mal turned to look at him, showing the ring on her finger.
She suddenly turned to us again.
"Us being friends makes me really happy, with the new ones in accord as well. Not destroying things. I choose good, you guys."
Mal put her fist in the center, waiting for us to copy her.
Jay put his in, "I choose good too."
She then looked at me and Evie.
The two of us shared a look and put our hands in.
"We choose good too."
"So, just to be clear. We don't have to be worried how really mad our parents will be?" Carlos asked, making us laugh.
"Cause they're gonna be really really mad." He continued.
"Your parents can't reach you here." Ben said, walking over to us.
Carlos smiled, then glanced at me.
"Okay then. Good."
He then finally put his fist in.
Mal looked at Ben and gestured for him to join, he walked over and placed his hand with ours.
There was a sudden noise that erupted around the place as green smoke appeared and flew to the ground.
Maleficent stood in the middle of the aisle.
"I'M BACK!"
"Go away, mother." Mal said, making her mother laugh.
"She's funny."
Maleficent snorted as she walked closer to the three adults infront of her.
"Wand me, chop chop." Maleficent demanded Mal, expecting her to be still evil.
Mal threw the wand to Fairy Godmother instead, and she successfully caught it.
"Bippity boppity--"
"BOO!"
Fairy Godmother was cut off by Maleficent making all of the people except us freeze.
I looked at (Y/N) and cupped her face gently.

"Sike!"
Mal's mother laughed as she walked around.
She looked at Ben's father and grabbed his glasses muttering, 'another time' over and over.
She then grabbed the wand from Fairy Godmother, sticking it in her nose.
"Where shall we begin?" Maleficent asked, walking over to us.
"I know, why don't we start getting rid of this!"
She pulled Mal's ring from her finger using the wand.
"Perfect fit!"
Mal's mother then laughed evilly.
We looked over at our bestfriend and saw that Mal was unhappy.
"Falling in love is weak... And ridiculous."
Maleficent glanced at me and Mal.
"It's not what you want."
"You don't know what I want!" Mal remarked.
"Mom, have you ever once asked me what I want? I'm not you!"
"Well, obviously! I've had years and years and years and, years of practice being evil. You'll get there!" Her mom said.
"No! I will not! And I really wish that you would never got there yourself." Mal sniffled.
"Love is not weak. Or ridiculous. It's actually really amazing!" Mal told her mother, making her mad.
"I know one thing, young lady. You have no room for love in your life!" Maleficent yelled, pointing the wand at her daughter.
"And now I command, wand to my hand!"
The wand went to Mal's hand, making us all shocked.
She laughed.
"It worked!"
"I hardly think so." Her mother muttered.
"Frankly this is tedious and very immature. Give me the wand, GIVE ME THE WAND!"
"Hold on, Mal."
I grabbed her arm.
"Maybe good really is more powerful than evil." I said.
Maleficent laughed.
"You're killing me! Arf!"
She tried to scare me as Dude came barking and tackled her, making her slightly stumble.
"Get off me!"
She dropped him to the ground and Dude made his way towards me.
Jay tried to steal Maleficent's scepter but she's still more powerful than him.
"Gaston should be jealous."
She flicked his forehead and Jay dropped to the ground.
"ENOUGH!" She shouted.
"YOU ALL WILL REGRET THIS!"
Green smoke emanated from her body as she transformed into her dragon form.
We backed away from her, but Jay tried to fight.
The four of us then ran towards the doors.
"Magic mirror, shine your bright light!"
Evie extended her mirror to Maleficent's eyes.
"Leave my friends alone!" Mal stood infront of us to her mother.
"This is between you and me, mother."
They had their staring contest with Mal saying, "Strength of evil, good as none. When stand before four hearts as one."
"THE STRENGTH OF EVIL IS GOOD AS NONE, WHEN STAND BEFORE FOUR HEARTS AS ONE!" She repeated.
The scene was intense, nobody from the three of us spoke.
Maleficent then transformed into a small lizard and I noticed Fairy Godmother was now unfrozen.
We ran towards where Mal's mother is.
"What just happened?" I asked.
"I have no idea!" Mal replied.
"Did you do it?" Evie asked from her other side.
"I don't know!" Mal answered.
Fairy Godmother ran towards us.
"No, no, no. Your mother did. She shrank to the size of the love in her heart, that's why it's so itty bitty."
We looked down at Maleficent as Mal grabbed her.
"Is she gonna be like that forever?" She asked Fairy Godmother.
"Well, forever is a long time. You learned to love, so can she."
Mal chuckled.
"I believe this belongs to you."
She gave the wand to Fairy Godmother.
"And I believe this, belongs to you."
Fairy Godmother gave Mal her ring, she put it on and stood up.
"You all have earned yourselves an A in goodness class."
All of laughed at what Fairy Godmother said.
I smiled down at Dude who was in my hands as she waved her wand in the air.
"Bippity boppity boo!"
Everyone went back to normal.
Ben roared and charged towards us, Mal calming him down.
He then lifted Mal off the ground and spun her around.
"Next time I'll rescue you okay?"
"Yeah, let's not hope there'll be a next time."
The both of them then hugged eachother.
"Carlos!"
I turned around to see (Y/N) running towards me.
I gently dropped Dude and welcomed her in an embrace.
We pulled away at arms length and she said, "I should join you guys on adventures like this another time!"
I laughed.
"Maybe, if you don't freeze in place."
She laughed and I felt something pulling my leg, I looked to see Dude and (Y/N) carried him.
I petted him and grinned at my girlfriend.
I'm so happy that it's all over.
"Hey!"
We looked over at Mal to see her rush to one of the royal guards.
"Careful! That's my mom!"
We laughed as she went next to me.
"Well, let's get this party started!" Jay said.
"Oh eh oh eh hey!" All of us shouted, as we group hugged.
I danced with Carlos as the night was still young, laughing and just having fun.
After the dance break, we turned to Mal and Ben who was at the balcony and bowed to them.
As the fireworks lit up the night sky, all of us cheered and jumped around.
I hugged Carlos and kissed him passionately, we pulled away for air and smiled at eachother.
A perfect boyfriend, saving the day, meeting my biological mom, and having the happiest life. What could go wrong?
"(Y/N)!"
I turned to Evie and gestured for me to join her, Audrey, Jane, and Lonnie to dance.
"Go." Carlos said, giving me a kiss on the cheek as he joined Jay.
You don't think this was the end of the story, did you?
