《Looed and Lost You 》_Chapter Seven: Hunting skills?_

"So how did you not die?" I questioned Loki as we ate in a diner. Loki looked up from the ice cream sundaes he was eating.
"Like I said. He missed my heart." Loki said with a smirk making me roll my eyes. I took another bite of my salad and looked out the window as people walked by.
"So why, after a year, have you decided to come back?" I asked once I swallowed the food in my mouth.
"Well, after that one little run-in with the Winchesters-" I cut him off.
"What do you mean? When did you run into Sam and Dean?"
"A few weeks ago. We had so much fun." He said taking a sip of his beer.
"You need to stay away from them. Especially Dean. He going through enough without you bugging him. You can bug me all you want just leave them alone." I said with a sigh.
"And what's wrong with Dean-O?" Loki asked as I took a sip of my soda. "Why would I tell you?" I asked eating some more of my salad.
"Well, you don't really need to. I already know all about his exciting trip to Hell in a couple of months." I froze.
"How do you know about that?" I asked placing my fork down.
"I know a lot of things Candy." I narrowed my eyes at him.
"For example, I know you're about to get a phone call." He said going to back to eating his sundae. I went to talk only to be interrupted by my phone ringing.
"How did you-" Loki cut me off.
"A magician never reveals his secrets." He said with a huge grin. I stared at him a little longer before I looked down at my phone to read the name, Nate.
Answering the phone I put it to my ear. "Nate, what's up?" I asked as Loki ate a huge scoop of ice cream.
"I have a case here, I think it's demon related, I would take care of it myself but I have other things I have to do," Nate said as Loki tried to lean in and listen.

"Nice, I've been needing a case to work," I said as I pushed Loki's face away.
"Good. I'll send you the info," He said hanging up the phone. I placed my phone down and found Loki staring at me with a wide grin.
"What?"
"We're going on a case! I've been waiting for the moment to show off my hunting skills." My phone rang and I opened the file Nate sent me. "Who said you were going?" I asked scrolling through the information.
"What! Come on we had a deal Candy!" I narrowed my eyes as I read over the article he sent me.
"Candy...Cansas...are you listening to me?" I looked up at him. "Have you heard of demon's ever burning their host's eyes out and liquefying their insides?" I asked showing him the picture that went along with the article.
He looked it over and then looked back up at me. He had a shocked expression on his face. "How far away was this?" He asked standing up and looking out the window. I put my phone down. "Uh...not that far. It's about two towns over."
Loki cursed under his breath. "What's wrong?" I asked standing up as well.
"Nothing...how about we go back to the motel." He said placing cash on the table and started to walk over to the door.
"Loki-wait," I said walking after him.
When we got back to the motel I started to pack up everything. "Cansas...I don't think you should go on this case." Loki said making me stop and look at him.
"Why? It's just some demons." I said placing my backpack on the bed.
"I know but you said it yourself. This is unlike any other demon you've seen." Loki said making me chuckle. "What are you scared?" I asked putting my sketchbook in my gray bag.
"What? No! I just think you shouldn't be rushing into this case." I swung my bag over my shoulder and picked up my blue bag.
"I know why you don't want me to go on this case," I said turning and looking a Loki. "Because I threaten not to take you." Loki shook his head.

"No-"
"Look. If you really want to follow me around. Fine. I don't care, but I'm going on this case." I said walking past him and out the door. I walked over to my car and opened the truck. I threw my bags in and shut the trunk only to be startled by Loki who had placed himself on top of the car's roof.
"What in the name of God are you doing up there?" I asked him. He slid down the back and sat on the trunk. He leaned in close to my face.
"It was really hot the way you took charge like that." He said smirking. I could feel my face become red.
"Shut up," I said pushing him. I walked away with him chuckling after me.
After I had given the key back to the women at the office Loki and I were back on the road. It took us two days to get to the town. When we got there I got us a room.
"So what's the plan?" Loki asked looking around. I scrolled through the information Nate sent me and found an address.
"Well, we can start by looking around this abandoned warehouse," I said putting my phone away and going into the back of my car. I lifted the seat and grabbed my black bag.
Shutting the backseat and then the door I swung the bag over my shoulder. "Okay let's go," I said starting to walk off.
"Wait. We're walking?"I stopped and turned to face him. "I'm not going to waste gas on this," I said crossing my arms.
"It's not that bad. Come on." Loki groaned before he walked after me.
When we got to the warehouse it was dark out. I pulled my flashlight out and turned it on. The light lit up the door which was cracked open.
"So...why are we here again?" Loki asked me. I looked over my shoulder to look at him. "This is where they found all the bodies. We're just going to look around and see if we can find anything." I said looking back at the door.
When I opened the door it made a loud squeak making me freeze.
"Way to go," Loki said coming up beside me. I huffed in annoyance and elbowed him in the stomach. "Violet much." I turned to him and place a finger on his lips.
"Shush!"
Loki held his hands up and I turned back to the door. I walked into the dark warehouse and shone my flashlight around. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary.
"There's nothing here," Loki said looking down at me.
"We haven't even looked around, Loki,"
The sound of flapping wings was heard and I looked to my side. Loki placed a hand on my shoulder. I looked at him to see he was on alert. I looked back only for a bird to fly out of nowhere making me jump a bit. I let out a sigh of relief.
"It was just a bird," I said taking Loki's hand off my shoulder.
"Are you sure about that?" Both Loki and I turned around fast at the new voice. There standing in the light of my flashlight was a woman. She had brown hair and brown eyes.
"Um...Hello there...we were just-" Loki cut me off by moving in front of me.
"We were just leaving. As should you. This is, after all, a crime scene."
"Lo-" Loki cut me off again by pushing me back a bit.
"Come on." He said backing up towards the door. The door closed shut behind us as the woman chuckled.
"You didn't think you were going to leave that fast did you?"
"Leave her out of this,"
"Oh, but she is apart of it. Nixon!" She commanded. A guy with black hair landed on the ground next to the women.
"Cansas run!" Loki shouted pushing me out of the way as the guy attacked him. Huge yellow and black wings shot out of the guys back as they fell. Before they both hit the ground they disappeared.
"Loki?!"

Nameless Hypocrite
"Bastard, surrender yourself!" "You think you can escape our encirclement?!" "An omnicidal fiend like you can only atone in death!" Despite his precarious situation, a young man ignored the union's provocations. His violet robe was in tatters, showing the incredible number of attacks he received, yet there was no sign of injury. Noticing the light smile tugging at his lips, the pursuing heroes warily watched him, cautious of a final attack. It was only by working together that they could corner a monster like him. An arrow pierced the air, beelining towards the young man. A malicious gleam revealed itself in his eyes; he unsheathed his sword, a long, curved blade, and deflected the projectile, spiking it into the ground. The archer's eyes widened before being split in two. He died suddenly and indignantly. The group backed away; their former confidence diminished greatly by the invisible counter. It was then that the young man sighed, his voice full of lament and self-pity. "Being a saint truly is difficult, even the world cannot understand my righteous actions." The expressions of the surrounding heroes turned ugly. Such blatant hypocrisy! Yes, the protagonist is a villain. We don't do morals here. New chaps when I write them
