《Good.illa Wamors》Chapter 9: Ressurection and Redemption

After healing and bandaging themselves up, Godzilla, Gamera and the others resurrected the fallen members of Godzilla's army. Godzilla insisted on resurrecting Muto as well, though Mothra and a few others advised against it. Anguirus and Muto were easy to revive, along with Zilla, but it took a while to find Varan's body beneath the ocean. Luckily, the bodies were almost entirely intact. Within minutes, they were restored by the crystals. Godzilla's complete army was now sitting around a campfire, catching up on recent events. Anguirus let out a laugh.
"Damn, it feels good to be back." He said.
"Good to have you back, dude." Rodan responded. The two fist-bumped. Meanwhile, Mothra was talking to Varan.
"So what's it like?" Mothra asked. "You know...being dead?" She wouldn't tell anyone why she really wanted to know, but to Ceaser it was obvious. He could see she still felt awful about killing Megaguirus. They still hadn't told Godzilla about it.
"I can't actually remember." Varan responded, rubbing the back of his head in thought. "I think it was really dark...but that's it."
As they all continued talking and laughing, Muto simply sat in her seat looking down at her feet. She had said earlier that she regretted killing herself, but hadn't said a word since. Godzilla looked over at her. He was genuinely worried about her.
"Are you alright, Muto?" He asked, quiet enough that the others couldn't hear. Muto looked over at him after he got her attention, but quickly looked back down when she realized who was talking.
"Yeah, I'm fine." Muto responded. In truth, she was still a little confused, about a lot of things. But Godzilla continued to pry.
"So, are you going back to your cave?" He asked. Muto scoffed.

"Right, like I'd go back to that shit hole." She growled. She wrapped her arms around herself fro warmth.
"So you're going back to Ghidorah?" Godzilla asked.
"There's no way I'm going back to him." Muto snapped. "He's the one who convinced me to kill myself in the first place."
Godzilla raised an eyebrow. "Really?" He was starting to get a little more concerned.
"I wouldn't have even considered it if he hadn't given me the idea." Muto explained.
"So where are you going to go?" Godzilla asked. "You could stay here, if you want." At this point, their conversation had gotten a little louder. Everyone looked at Godzilla like he was crazy, especially Muto.
"What?" Almost all of them said at once.
"I'm just saying, Muto, you don't have a lot of options." Godzilla explained. "Maybe you could be part of our army."
Muto thought over his proposition for a good while. Finally, she had her answer.
"Alright, fine." Muto said. "But that doesn't mean I forgive you."
Godzilla noticed that Muto was blushing slightly. He smirked, but chose to ignore it. As the group continued talking, Gamera heard a beeping noise coming from a small communicator in his pocket. It was coming from his universal communicator. It told him when a major threat to Earth entered the universe. He usually managed to intercept them before they came to Earth. He pulled the communicator out of his pocket and looked at the small screen, seemingly unhappy with what it was telling him. Eventually, he excused himself.
"If you'll excuse me, I'm currently needed elsewhere." Gamera said. He bowed to the others and began to walk off.
Godzilla and the others looked up. "You're leaving?" Godzilla asked. "Are you sure you don't want to be part of our army?"

"Unfortunately, I have to decline." Gamera responded. "But don't worry, we'll definitely run into each other again."
Godzilla nodded and stood up. "It's been awesome working with you, Gamera." He said.
"And has been a honour to fight alongside you, Godzilla." Gamera responded with another bow. Suddenly, his boots opened up once more, as well as the palms of his hands. Flames shot out, rocketing him upwards. Before long, he was gone into the night sky. It reminded Godzilla of something Mothra had said earlier.
"By the way, Mothra," he said. Mothra looked back to him as she heard him say this. She seemed vacant, sort of out of it.
"A few days ago, you said that Gamera reminded you of someone." Godzilla continued. "Who was it?"
Mothra nodded, remembering saying that. "He reminds me of my brother."
"Battra?" Rodan asked, confused.
"No," Mothra said, "My other brother, Leo."

Extermination Order
So it turns out that anime got something right: If you get hit by a truck, you're going to another world. Dennis became subject to that unknown quirk of reality when crossing a busy city street (despite having looked both ways). But that was quite some years ago. He's been around this new world 'Nassur' a time or two and knows how to live a good life. He also knows that adventuring friggin sucks. So, what is a man to do in a fantasy world with a shoddy leveling system that constantly suggests getting more XP, and a condition set by the gods that you must make the world a better place? Pest extermination. But reality is often fickle. Perhaps one day it is only rats, another, mechanical centipedes with lasers. Maybe the Dark Lord needs a shoulder to cry on because his dungeon simply can't be ready in time for the adventurers he likes to do battle against. Another poor soul from Earth could appear just as dazed and confused as the day you'd first arrived, requiring a good long talk about 'hey, what the hell is this, man'. And maybe... just maybe, that thick book of owed favors comes back to haunt you. For a man who desires a peaceful, productive life, Dennis can find it rather difficult for a week to go by where something doesn't go awry. This series originally started on r/HFY, [Link] but I decided to post it here since people are so positive about it! Posting rate is, and likely will continue to be, rather inconsistent. 8 176The Final Test
Earth was overtaken by the Calumnia ten years ago and if it weren't for the alien Occisio race who saved the remnants of humanity, Indi's race would have gone extinct. Now, at the age of sixteen, Indi and the other surviving children are about to complete their training and return to Earth to kill the monster that destroyed their world and killed their parents. However, the children on the Occisio's spaceship have been dismissed one by one in training tests and only a few of them remain. Will Indi prove himself skilled enough to become a soldier? Or will he fail humanity as his parents did? This short story (in 13 parts) is a love letter to fans of Ender's Game and Maze Runner. (I may eventually turn this into a novel but for now, I hope you enjoy this 10,000 word story about hope and overcoming one's weakness.) [This story will appear on other websites as well, such as Wattpad and Royal Road.]
8 371The Protector and the Peacemaker
The secret war between the Slayers and Mythics is secret no longer. Porter the Slayer and Sarah the sphinx have, through their unlikely love, become the bridge between the human and Mythic races, and together they hope they can find a way to end the fighting without one side destroying the other. With incriminating evidence against the Master Slayer, Drake Mortoph, there may be a chance that they can disband the Slayers before the two armies reach each other. Mortoph has more secrets than Porter and Sarah realize, though, and he will stop at nothing to keep them from being revealed.
8 178Dream Theater
Long casted shadows danced in the background, as a man squibbled and jotted words on yellow papers. A mere novelty, remnant and ghost that was left to age away along with the forgotten theater, a man grasped for inspiration to salvage what was left of his soul. Abandoned in the squalid room, Pxan was left hauntedly in the furthest corners of insanity that bubbled in his mind. No one would listen to his plight, denouncing him and claiming his mind was not right. Even though the world left him with nothing, turning their backs to him, he knew the books would never betray him in the same fashion. Faceless pages and books yet to be read ogled puppy eyes, ready to be penned by the madman. “Pxan! Pxan! Over here! To me!” Clamored the unpublished manuscripts. Pxan’s fingers quivered nervously, thoughts of failure flooded his mind. Wanting to surrender to the pressure. “No!” He cried. “I’ve had enough of writing.” Books with eyes all stared at him, begging for the tales to be written. Their pleaful eyes were all that Pxan needed to be moved to writing again. The man sighed and raised his pen again, stroking the first letters of inspiration that bore fruit from his mind. A maddening tale of a policeman, cultists and a violent revenge… -Currently on Hiatus while writing the second volume. The first volume is up. I will take a few days to rewrite a few chapters.
