"I'm not going in." Sam said to Andy as he dropped her off at work "I get it. Yesterday freaked me out, too, you know? Finally finding Chris Klem and then him just pointing the finger back at Oliver that sucked. We both know Oliver didn't do anything, right?" Andy replied back convincing Sam. "But there's all this evidence that says that he did." Sam Said looking back to his fiancé "He was set up by Commissioner Santana." Andy snapped back at him "What I don't understand is why he rolled over so easily. Have you ever known him to walk away from a fight?" Sam explained "No." Andy replied quickly "So, I think there's something he's not telling us. I want to find out what it is." Sam said to Andy looking at her "Okay. Let me know what you find." Andy replied getting out of the truck heading into work.
Andy was walking through the corridor looking at Tracy saying "Hey. I've been looking for you." "Hey." Tracey replied not looking at Andy because she was too buzzy looking through the glass window starring at Steve who's on the phone "What's wrong?" Andy asked "Nothing. What's up?" Tracey replied snapping out of her zone "I think we should take another run at Chris Klem." Andy asked "Really?" Tracey asked Andy walking around the corner "Yeah. How do we know that he actually met the guy he thinks is Oliver Shaw? He could have made a mistake." Andy explained "Yeah, you're right. This whole thing could be a mistake." Tracey said knowing who it exactly who it was. "Exactly, so we should probably get him back in here and then show him some pictures." Andy asked her "Except I handed him over to I. A. last night. They're not gonna let us anywhere near him. I'm sorry." Tracey said to Andy as she walked off
As everyone just found out that Oliver handed in his badge Andy was determined to try and clear Oliver's name but with a little help.
"I-I I don't I don't know if I can do this, okay? I-I can't just sit on my hands while Oliver's being raked over the coals." Andy said to Dov in the equipment room "What are we supposed to do? We already tried to clear him. It just made things worse. Dov replied "Then we try a different tack, okay? This entire time, we've been spending all of our energy trying to figure out who Santana was working with, and we haven't even looked into him directly." Andy explained to Dov until she was interrupted "What's up?" Gailsays as she and Nick walked through the door and everyone went silent [Door closes] "Whatever it is, I'm in." Nick says to them.
"All right. We think Commissioner Santana is dirty." Dov explained "All right" nick replied back "He's been working with someone here at 15 Division to make it look like Oliver. But it isn't Oliver, and we need to prove it." Andy said to Gail "Where are you guys getting this?" Nick said "Before Ted McDonald died, he told Sam that Santana was dirty. All the proof is on those hard drives in the evidence room." Andy explained again "All right, we're talking about spying on the commissioner?" Nick said to everyone "Yeah. We get caught, I'll wear it. If I can't clear Oliver's name, I don't want this job anyway." Andy replied to everyone.

"Can I talk to you for a second?" Andy said to Juliet dragging her into a room as she came out from the kitchen "Look, if you're wanting to, uh, yell at me for spying on you, you're too late. Nick already gave me an earful." Juliet told her as Andy was looking around if anyone was there "I'm not here to yell at you. I need your help." Andy asked her "Okay." Juliet replied "I think Commissioner Santana is the one who orchestrated the bombing." Andy thought "That's a dangerous thing to say." Juliet asked "Am I wrong? I know you're I.A. You're here for something." Andy said with delight.
"Okay, look, my purpose here is to find out who Santana was working with." Juliet explained to Andy "I knew it. Great. So then you have access to his files" Andy asked "no? Hell, no. That's way above my pay grade." Juliet conferred "Okay. Thanks." Andy said to her as was just about to walk out until "Andy. What? I mean, there is there's something that we could try." Juliet said stopping her "Okay" Andy said looking interesting "An integrity test." Juliet said "What's that?" Andy said confused "They use it all the time at I.A. It's basically a sting. You put the commissioner in a position to overhear false information that makes him feel threatened. And then you sit and you wait. And if he takes the bait, then you can confirm that he's corrupt." Juliet explained to her "Okay." Andy said looking at her with a plan.
"That sounds great, except what are we gonna use for bait?" Dov said to Andy "Ted McDonald's hard drives. Think about it. They're perfect." Andy replied to him "Yeah, they're perfect, except for the fact that they blew up about four months ago." Nick said putting it out there "The real ones blew up, sure, but whoever planted that bomb was terrified of what they might contain. Imagine what they'd do if a duplicate set suddenly appeared. So, Santana might panic, and that'll force him to play his hand." Andy explained.
Soon as Nick said "But wait a second. How do we explain that a second set's just shown up? What if a friend of Ted's has, like, finally come forward? You know, Ted could have sent him a duplicate set of drives in the event of his death. And then just have him come in, tell his story, and then let Santana overhear." "Yeah, but who?" Dov said "I might have someone." Andy said to both of them "Is Santana even gonna believe this, though, coming from us? How do we get the information to him?" Nick said "He's standing right there." Andy said looking at Duncun.
"Are you nuts? The last time we got the No, forget it. You know what happened.," Andy said Nick and Dov sitting at there desks "But we don't have another choice" Dov said to her "Yeah, well, you know what? We got to figure something else out, don't we?" Andy replied "I think that's it." Nick said "That's our only option." Dov said to them as Duncun came by "Hey. What, uh what what you talking about?" Duncun asked them "Nothing." Dov said "Rookie, how much of that you hear? Nick said to him "Barely anything." Duncun replied "Good. Stay out of it." Andy said to him sharp "Hey, come on, guys, seriously. Tell me what you're talking about. It sounds crazy. What's up?" Duncun said to them as they were walking off "Okay, just All right, listen. Sam said that some guy by the name of Kyle Mason called him, a friend of Ted McDonald's." Andy explains to him turning around "Ted McDonald?" Duncun said in shock "Shh!" Nick, Dov & Andy said at the same time "Like like like "kaboom"?" Duncun asked "Yeah. That's him." Andy said.

"This guy Kyle claims he has a second set of the hard drives that were destroyed in the explosion. He wants to come in and give a statement. Nick's gonna pick him up in an hour. You can't tell anyone about this. I'm serious, Duncan, okay? This is a covert affair, and you're in it now." Andy continued explaining to him "Covert? No, I know. I like that. Guys, look, my my lips are sealed." Duncun said "All right." Nick said "Okay. Give me that. Teamwork, okay?" Duncun said to them all as he walked away "How long before he spills the beans?" Andy asked "Give it an hour." Nick replied back to her as they were all watch him.
Andy's plan was coming together nicely black this next minute could be the time that revels who settled up Oliver so it was make or break......!!!
"Police. Put your hands in the air. Stand up and slowly walk towards me Now." Andy said with her gun up to the man that she couldn't identify as his back was facing her "Andy, I-I think maybe you got the wrong impression of why I'm here." Steve said to her as he turned around "Okay. Why are you here?" She asked putting her gun away "Well, I I got a call about the operation, right? So I came. From ? From Gail." He mentioned to her as Andy replied "So weird. I mean, she didn't even mention that you were coming. I'm just gonna call her quickly Just wait a second." "Wait a second! Sorry. Um No, she she didn't call me. Okay, Alonso called me." Steve said to Andy stopping her from calling Gail "Why did you just lie to me right now?" Andy asked him "Because [Sighs] he wanted me to pick up some evidence." He replied to her "The hard drives." She asked back "Exactly, yeah, the hard drives. You know, you don't have to stick around, Andy" Steve said "No. Hold on a second. Do you have the warrant?" Andy asked him "Of course I have the warrant." He said.
"Okay. It's really important, right? This is literally our last chance to prove who planted the bomb, and we need to make sure that this is all done by the book. So ? I'm sorry to even ask you this, but can I see it?" Andy asked "him It's in the car." Steve replied "How long has this been going on?" Andy said trying to get to the point "What are you talking about?" Steve said to her freaking out "Stop. You know what I'm talking about. I know why you're here." She said "I don't have to listen to this, McNally, okay?" Steve said as he moved "Uh, I would stay where you are if I were you." Andy said with her hand on her gun "What are gonna do? You gonna arrest me?" Steve said "Yeah, if I have to. Steve Tell me the truth. Are are you working for Santana? Why? How how did how did you even get involved?" Andy asked him hopping she was wrong.
"It started off so simple, you know, just misfile a ballistics report. I did it about a dozen times anyway. And then an envelope would show up in my mailbox. You know? Then they started asking for more." Steve explained looking for the hard drives "One second. Who's "they"?" Andy asked "Alonso and Aidan Kelly, the Irish Mob.And, oh, then before you know it, I was Unh! It's like working two jobs, right One for the cops and one for them." He continued "Traci. What about Traci?" Andy mentioned "No. No. She doesn't know. No, I kept her out of it. And I was gonna get myself out to to make sure she's safe. But then Ted McDonald showed up. And listen, I-I told Alonso that Ted was crazy, that no one would believe him, you know, but he didn't listen. And he said these hard drives were gonna bring us both down, right? So These aren't even real, are they? Andy I-I did everything I could to make it safe, okay? I used a short timer. I hung around just before so no one would go inside. I did just before?" Steve continued trying to explain it.
"I was in there." Andy shouted at him "I know. You got to believe me. I didn't I didn't want to hurt anybody. I was gonna come clean after. But then then I found out what Alonso did to Ted." Steve said "Alonso killed Ted McDonald?" Andy said with shock "Yeah." Steve replied "Okay, listen, you need to think this through." Andy said to him "Think what through?" He replied "You want to save Oliver, right?" She said "Of course I do." He said back "And you want to take down Alonso? I can help you with that. I can." She said
"Steve. Steve. I'm not asking for myself, okay? I'm asking for Gail, and I'm asking for Traci." Andy continued trying to convince him "Oh, what, it's my job to protect them now? But, you know, just think what this might do to them, okay? They could be in danger. There's organized crime involved, Andy." Steve said "You know I have to take you in." Andy said to him "No one needs to find out. No one. Just this one time. Just Look the other way." He asks her "I can't do that. I won't." She replied back [Safety clicks] "What, are you gonna shoot me, Andy? You're not gonna shoot me. We both know that." He said as he walked out the door were Nick and Gail were, Gail was in shock seeing the brother getting arrested and Nick cuffing him.
After a long day with secrets reviled and trying to clear Oliver again everyone headed home with shock that Steve was arrested mean while Andy & Sam were in the truck.....
Sam was driving home with His fiancé as he broke the silence "Hey. You did good today." "From the ashes to the crown I don't feel like it. I feel like I just ruined a bunch of people's lives." Andy said to him looking out the window screen "Their lives were ruined already. They just didn't know it yet." Sam replied looking at her "It's upsetting. You know, Traci didn't know that Steve was bad." Andy continued "Well, in my opinion, Steve wasn't bad. He just did a bad thing and then another bad thing and then another, and that's how it goes." Sam explained "I just want to go home. I want to get into P. J.s and sit on the couch and be completely boring with you." Andy said to Sam looking at with a smile on her face as he replied "You ain't never gonna be completely boring." Smiling back to her.

Those in this dungeon must kill monsters to survive; maybe even each other. Join Ely as he struggles to survive a ruthless environment. What replaces his rest is untold trauma. What seems like an innocent game trope turns into a nightmare. This is a story of tragedy and the path to ultimate power. All in the hopes of an uncertain survival. _________ This fiction has NOT been abandoned. I made a haughty promise earlier to not worry because I'll continue this series, and with things lately, I've only proved myself a liar. Further promises dwindled, and I've lost trust. So many things have been going on recently that I've been booked. I will refrain from making any future guarantees or promises as my busy schedule will stay with me for a long long while. Time for me to actually spend on writing and revising won't appear until at the least November 19. I won't say expect that's when I'll restart, but you can expect expecting it to maybe happen. That's really shallow. But with everything going on, I've let my small reading base down. I apologize. I still stick by my statement though that I won't abandon this project. I plan to stick it to the end, no matter the delay. Most importantly, thank you everyone; readers who both like and dislike my work. I appreciate your time spent on my dumb imagination. Stay toasty my readers in this winter season. Cheers. UPDATE: We're back on track. Thank you for your patience. Any future readers, heyo! Glad you're here. UPDATE 2: So far it's been 21 days since I last uploaded a chapter. The best thing done for any fiction, no matter how good it is, is that it continues, and I have a bad history with that. 1 fiction on hiatus and already more delays with less than 20 chapters in this fiction. I've been very preoccupied with adding more things to do in my life rather than actually committing to any particular thing. That applies primarily to this. I cannot abandon this, as busy as my future looks and will look as I get busier and busier. Someday, I hope, I will be able to sit down and just write. just. write. But for now, I ask for patience. I suppose I'm glad this fiction hasn't picked up so that I don't disappoint too many people if any really. But I need to commit and it's going to happen sometime and sometime soon. No more flowery words. I'll see you later. UPDATE 3: It's very evident I won't be able to pick up this story for a while. With AP Testing, competitions, and other things I am busier than ever. But I must complete this fiction. I have too. Until next time. UPDATE 4: It is now the summer. I owe everyone an apology. Chances are, nobody's around to see this, and that is okay. I only blame myself for this sort of brokenness of a fiction, not that it is actually that bad but I am just exaggerating it for dramatic effect. But what's not exaggerated is the severity of my broken promise. I apologize for my naive claims about finishing a novel that I couldn't finish and that I didn't have the discipline to finish. Nor the skills, really, I was and am still an immature writer. What is to place now? I want to make it clear I understand this is my fault. I will man up to this. And I will accept any criticism. I understand I messed up. Reading Stephen King's On Writing made it clear to me that I need to do two things:Read lots. And write lots.I have done neither. If I don't have the time to read often, how do I expect to write? I need to become more experienced. I need to become a serious writer. So if I want to dream of continuing, I need to at least fulfill both requirements. I enjoy writing. I haven't written seriously outside of school in a while. I planned to write this summer and finish this. I made a lot of promises that I didn't keep.So there's that. I won't enact any self-pity, or be foolishly obsessed. What I did was wrong, and I must deal with it. I let down readers. And I apologize.I hope I can find forgiveness. This is a writer's sin.I won't promise I'll finish this. I intend to finish this, at some point, because writing is fun and I want to write. But how things are don't reflect that. Maybe I'll finish this at some point. Maybe I won't. I won't be naive to make that promise.I thank everyone who has read this if this is the end. If not, and hopefully not, I thank everyone who is to read future chapters. I thank everyone who allowed me to live in the miniscule little dream of mine as I passed my days. I thank everyone who cares enough to read this. Until next time, peace everyone. Thank you. You are all great readers and great people. I wish everyone the best in whatever reading/writing endeavors follow you henceforth.
