《Unfair (Haikyuu X Male!Reader)》7

As you arrived home, something like 30 minutes later than you expected because of your talent in getting lost, you dropped your bag in the entrance of your 'kingdom' before changing to you taking out the nikumans, going out and locking the door behind you.
After that you walked to house in front of yours, Kai's one, and entered using the spare key he gave you time ago.
"I'm here!" You exclaimed as you went to his kitchen and placed the food bag on the cream colored table.
Something was strange though. You expected to see your blue-haired friend somewhere nearby, but he seemed absent.
"OI! KAI. GET HERE. NOW." Nothing. Pure, absolute silence.
"I will eat everything by myself then~"
"DON'T EVER SAY THAT AGAIN." You smiled. It always works. He might try to play a joke on you, but if you say something regarding eating his food.. Then everything automatically comes in second place.
"Where were you?" You questioned your friend as you were now carefully placing the (luckily) still warm treats you brought on in a ceramic plate you took from the cupboard.
He just shrugged in response muttering something along the lines of a 'ya know.. anime stuff.' . Which you interpreted as the usual : ' I was watching an anime you shouldn't know about, because if you knew I watched it you would judge me.'
"Alright then.." you turned towards him, "Where are you keeping the ramen?"
"Here!" he handed it to you. "I'l start cutting some stuff, alright?"
You looked at him skeptical y, " Are you sure you can do that? I wouldn't want you to get hurt. Well, mostly me. Don't hurt me. I need to live."
He gasped, dramatically bringing a hand where his heart is , wearing the most dramatic expression someone could make. "You don't have faith in me?You heretic!"

Sighing you decided that ignoring the teen was going to be a better choice than replying,
Meanwhile he tried to do what he stated before.
Keyword: tried.
Let's explain the situation in the easiest way possible.
As you were heating the ramen Kai had the intel igent idea of cutting some vegetables for himself, even though he hated them and he was terrible at using the knife and anything related to a kitchen. And this you already knew.
While he was doing so he started to look around himself, total y spacing out.
How didn't he think about the fact that it was actual y dangerous was unknown to you.
Now, to the fun part.
Due to his current carelessness he made his knife fall on the ground (congratz.)
He, of course, bended down to grab it. And with the amazing grace he was born with, he hit you.
While you were bringing the now warm and fully prepared cups of ramen to the table.
"HOLY-" The contenent of the cups went in the air as you fell on the ground with a loud tud, it spilling on the ground and your arms. It was painful, that you could assure. You tried your best not to curse, thing you rarely ever did anyway, so you stood up and walked to the sink to pour some cold water on your now burning arms.
"I'M SO SORRY I SWEAR I DIDN'T MEAN TO-" You looked at Kai with a sweet smile.
"It's okay, really.. do you have anything like a cream or something? Just to help the burn heal faster." You hinted, knowing that the male had several first aid kits and every kind of healing cream due to his tendency at getting injured.. or getting others injured.
"O-okay!" He ran up the stairs to his bathroom to take the items he would have needed to patch you up, while you stared at your arms, flinching as they started to sting in the places you knew a bright red bruise was going to appear. Sadly, the back of your hands were hit the the unexpected food shower too.

"This isn't good.. at all." You sighed. "How am I going to help the team like this?" You spoke in a low tone, trying to find a way to still help without only being a burden to the team.
"I don't think I directly can hit the ball, no way. Maybe I could only tell them what to do?" You shook your head. " That wouldn't be enough. Maybe I could help them with the stances and movements." You thought about it. As you heard from your dad before the team was known for its strong offense, but weak defense. At least that's what he knew about it.
"Yeah. It sounds about right." You smiled to yourself, content with the solution you came up with. And just as that happened, Kai came down the stairs with some bandages and the cream you needed.
As he started taking cares of your injured limbs you sighed, you knew this was going to happend.

Arriving home you flopped on your bed, not even bothering to put on you pajama because you didn't care. At all.
That wasn't a priority. You were mostly thinking about your arms, the fact that you should do your homework, and that you should start writing the lyrics of your new song. Sure, this awesome beautiful fantabulous trip to Japan was, indeed, something like a vacation from your idol activities..
But you still had to think about something.
You sat at your desk, deciding that the song was now your major priority and took out a piece of paper and a pencil.
*tap tap*
You tapped on the piece of paper, waiting for a wave of inspiration.
*tap tap tap*
It will come SpongeBob-speed later. *narrator voice * (don'tquestionthisline)
*BAM BAM BAM*
"WRITER'S BLOCK."
You banged your head on the desk and then flopped back on your bed, checking your messages to see if anyone wanted to talk with you.
Scrolling through the spam messages, the ones of people you don't care about, the ones from a certain annoying red headed being , to which you responded with a ' I don't care about your Sebby' , you reached a name that caught your attention.
'Ah! Koushi wrote me~' you smiled as your eyes wandered through the message, reading its content.
"Hello M/N! Hope I'm not disturbing you, if I am.. I'm sorry! ;; I wanted to ask you if everything was okay!........'
Smiling lightly you typed your answer,
"Ah, Koushi! Good evening~ ( ^ ^ )
Everything's fine, thank you for asking. I hope you're fine too! Anyway........"
So after that you started a rather long chat with the gray haired setter that result in bright blushes from his part that you couldn't see, some laughs, and some good old bonding. (?)

Shadowrun: Blake Island School of Magic
It's a high tech, low life. It's the Seattle Metroplex in 2074. It rises like a steel and concrete cancer out of the earth. Poverty is rampant, corruption is everywhere, crime is out of control, corporations basically control everything, the old United States is fractured, magic has come back and now it turns out that humanity has been joined by elves, dwarves, orks and trolls. The old world ended but the rent is still due. Life goes on. You'd be surprised what people can adapt to, especially if they don't have a choice. One of the places where life goes on is just west of Seattle. Surrounded by the waters of the Puget Sound is an island. On that island is the Blake Island School of Magic. A decade ago it was known for producing some of the most talented awakened in the world. That reputation was hijacked by the wealthy corporate elite who now park their teenage children there. And since it's a boarding school, their parents mostly forget about them. Three young people, who are certainly not wealthy or elite, are chosen this year to attend this school of magic in hopes of revitalizing their reputation for talent. One from the ash drifts of the Puyallup Barrens, one from the most densely populated slum hive in the world and one from prison. This is their story. -- This story is set in the Shadowrun universe. If you're not familiar with Shadowrun, it mostly tells the stories of deniable mercenaries called shadowrunners in a cyberpunk dystopia. Instead of telling another story solely about shadowrunners, this story will tell the tale of young people navigating a world that is indifferent to them at best and actively hostile at worst. Shadowrunners will be in the story and we'll see them operate, but they won't be its main focus. This story originally began in 2017 as a passion project and continues to this day on the Somethingawful.com forums. The unedited version is over a million words strong. There are currently seven books in this series and I am currently in the process of editing them. If you read this story then you won't lack for content. -- The Topps Company, Inc. has sole ownership of the names, logo, artwork, marks, photographs, sounds, audio, video and/or any proprietary material used in connection with the game Shadowrun. The Topps Company, Inc. has granted permission to the Blake Island on Royal Road to use such names, logos, artwork, marks and/or any proprietary materials for promotional and informational purposes on its website but does not endorse, and is not affiliated with Blake Island on Royal Road in any official capacity whatsoever.
