Where am I?
Everything's black.
Did the Dimension Hop fail?
What is this place?
It's quiet.
I can't see anything.
My thoughts, they're loud, they're so loud.
Ciel? Where are you? Ciel?
CIEL ANSWER ME, PLEASE!
.....
....
...
..
.
'Today really is a beautiful day.' I said as I smiled up to see the sun shining bright and birds flying freely. I had just finished successfully selling all the charcoal that we had harvested this season. I managed to make a fair bit off it
'At least we'll be able to eat our fill for the next few months.' I thought as I walked over to the river and started washing my face.
'When I get home, what should I do?' I pondered for a second while walking home. 'Well, Takeo and Shigeru were probably playing, I could join them to make their games more fun. Or I could talk with Hanako and we can eat snacks and talk about the future. Nezuko, I could also talk about the future with her, I wonder what she wants to be when she grows up...' I was so deep in thought that I tripped over a branch.
"Owie." I said while pulling myself up, but when I pulled myself up, when I looked up, what I saw shocked.
A blue haired girl wearing strange clothing lying down on the snow.
.....
....
...
..
.
Sitting in the empty expanse with nothing to keep me company but my own thoughts was one of the most terrifying experiences I've ever encountered.
I wanted to go back.
I wanted to go back to Tempest where I could laugh and talk with my friends and we could talk about the future.
That's what I wanted to do.
The suddenly, for the first time in what seemed like ages...
I saw a light.
I quickly pulled myself towards that light, not wanting it to leave.

It started to move away and I had to move faster.
No matter how fast I ran, it would just seem to get farther and farther...
I had to reach it.
That light then turned into a voice.
I swallowed my saliva, as I finally took one giant leap and managed to reach the light.
.
.
.
I woke up with a start.
Jumping up, my head spinning, I turned around to scan my surroundings.
I was in a snow covered forest with beautiful tall trees that seemed to reach the sky.
"Hey, are you alright?" a voice said to the left of me.
I turned my head to the left and immediately went silent:
In front of me was a burgundy haired boy, wearing hanafuda earrings, having a scar on his forehead, and dawning a green and black checkered haori.
I figured I would deal with him later, right now I only had one thing on my mind.
'Ciel?' I said nervous, hoping that at least Ciel-sensei would be with me.
'Oh, thank god. Wait a minute Raphael?'
'What happened where are we? Why have you reverted back to being Raphael?. I don't think this is the place we're supposed to be.'
I deadpanned as I heard these words.
Malfunction? When? How?
...
"Hello? Are you sure you're alright. If you're not, I can take you back with me we have food, warm clothes, and a bed." The voice next to me said once again. "T-That is if you want to of course." He said, quickly correcting himself.
Finally, I gathered up the courage to speak.
"Hello." I said in a small voice. "Do you happen to know where I am?"
"You're on a mountain, near the Kamado family household." He said in a concerned voice. "Did you happen to lose your memory? Oh no, if so you have to come with me." He said quickly grabbing my wrist and pulling me.

Of course I resisted but then he turned around and looked at me with his bright red maroon eyes.
"Please." He said in a adorable voice.
'Goddammit, my weakness.'
I quickly nodded giving him the "ok."
He quickly smiled and whispered a small "Thank you."
While we were apparently walking to his household he decided he would try and start small chat with me.
"Hey, I haven't seen you around before? May I have your name?" He said looking at me.
"Rimuru. Rimuru Tempest." I quickly said returning a glance.
"Tanjiro. Kamado Tanjiro." He said while smiling.
After a fairly long walk, we finally reached the place.
The Kamado Household.
It was a fairly simple place but it had beautiful design. It was a typical family household but it had a certain feeling to it. It was a feeling of tranquility. There was peace. The birds were chirping and you could hear the faint sound of children talking amongst themselves.
Tanjiro tugged on my sleeve. "Come on, I'll show you your room first." He said with a smile. I just smiled back because it was a refreshing feeling, seeing a family so happy with nothing to worry about.
He then led me to what seemed like to be a spare room for guests. Inside that room their laid one single futon with a water bucket next to it. It appeared to be some sort of makeshift treatment center for any injured people.
"This is where you'll be staying for now." He said looking at me. "Sorry if this is all too sudden." He said while scratching the back of his head. "You can always leave if you want, but you have to let me check your condition first. I'm not letting an injured person go out alone."
He's too trusting. That's going to lead him somewhere bad someday.
"Hey." I said as I watched him get towels and water ready. "Why do you trust someone like me who you just met?"
He flinched at this question.
He thought for a moment and then answered.
"Well, everybody's human which means that they at least have some emotions. They're the same as me. They know grief, pain, and sadness. But along with that they know happiness." He said smiling at me.
"Some people find happiness in sick things." I said in a monotone voice. He had to learn sooner or later, any world, no matter where it is, it's not going to be fair.
"I know." He said looking down. "But I'm going to keep believing in good for as long as I can." He said while looking at me.
"But what if I wanted to kill your entire family and leave you behind to rot." I said.
He looked at me as his eyes widened but instantly regained his composure.
"I know you wouldn't do that. I can smell you and I can say for sure, you're a kind person." He said giving me a warm smile. "I believe in good, no matter who it is, we're all human."
I chuckled. "Alright then, I'll trust you for now." I said giving him a warm smile.
"Alright, so, weren't you supposed to introduce me to your family." I said staring up at him.
"Ah, oh right, I can't wait for you to meet them." He says he then walks out of the room.
"Come on!" I heard him say from down the hallway.
'He's a nice kid.'
