Grian POV
"You blew it up!"
"It wasn't my fault it was the creepers!"
I covered my ears. I hated when my boyfriends fought, especially over something stupid like redstone.
"You can just fix it! It's not a big deal," Iskall shouted.
"That took me hours Iskall, I can't just 'fix it'," Mumbo retorted.
"C- can you guys stop yelling please," I whispered as I hated raising my voice.
But they didn't hear me as Iskall shouted "It can't be that hard. Your over exaggerating!"
"No I'm not! If you want you could be useful instead of begging for attention while I work!"
The shouting, I couldn't take it. It reminded me of the times where Sam harassed me and beat me in high school. Despite my efforts to stop, they kept arguing.
"Well if-"
"CAN YOU GUYS STOP!?" I yelled.
They both turned to me stared me in the eyes. I hadn't mean't to yell, I had promised myself not to scream after high school. But it came out and I regretted it.
"Well Grian maybe YOU could leave us to have OUR discussion," Iskall snapped at me.
"Why does our conversation concern you!" Mumbo shouted.
With tears in my eyes, I quickly left the room of our house and headed to my starter base.
Once I arrived, the thoughts began to cloud my head.
You broke the promise. Your . Your boyfriends now. You should . .
I pulled the metallic tool out of the cupboard. I knew I shouldn't, but it felt good.
Mumbo POV
When I realized what had happened, I was not angry at my boyfriends anymore, just myself.
"Mumbo sorry for yelling n' breaking you redstone," Iskall whispered.
"No no no, you did nothing wrong, I was overreacting," I responded.

"Why did we yell at Grian..." Iskall asked. The small Hermit was really sensitive to loud noises, especially screaming.
"I- we need to go find him," I said. Iskall nodded in agreement. We clipped on our elytras and flew to his starter base.
Grian POV
The knife cut my skin. It felt good to do this again. A great way to cope with these emotions.
I kept going, switching to my other arm. Through the tears, I saw the blood dripping onto the floor and realized.
"No no no no." I had been clean for almost a year now. All of the effort, all of the time the other Hermits spent helping me didn't matter anymore. I had thrown it all away.
I started to panic. What are the other Hermits going to think?
They're going to be . You a . Your . Just like told you. He was right, your . You should .
Sam. Just hearing that name scared me. I didn't want to remember YHS. The deaths, the blood, the beatings, the screams, the-
Someone opened the door behind me.
Iskall POV
Mumbo opened the door to the bathroom. It was the only room we hadn't checked.
Grian had his back turned to the door. He was sitting in a small pool of blood with a discarded knife on the side.
I quickly ran over to him and he froze up. He had cuts on his wrists but the were shallow so he hadn't lost so much blood.
To his surprise, I pulled him into a hug. His breath was inconsistent and he was having trouble breathing.
"Grian, what's something you can see?" Mumbo asked.
"B- blood..." he answered shakily.
"Something you can feel?"
"Iskall."
"Something you can hear?"
"Y- you."
"Something you can smell?"

"Lavender."
"And something you can taste?"
"Mint."
After this exercise, he seemed to calm down a bit but continued to cry into my shoulder. It hurt to see him cry.
"Grian, can we bandage you cuts?" I asked, pulling put of the hug.
Slowly, he nodded and rolled up his sleeves. There were cuts going all the way up his arms. I tried not to stare to make him uncomfortable while bandaging his arms.
When I had finished, the three of us sat in silence. It wasn't the comforting silence I was used to. It was awkward.
"Grian, I'm so sorry for yelling at you. I didn't mean to hurt you..." I apologized.
"Yeah... I'm so sorry love," Mumbo said.
"I- it's fine," Grian replied dismissively. "Can you two stay here tonight?"
"Of course," we both replied in sync, causing us to laugh a bit.
I lifted up the small hermit and carried him to the bed in his room. I stood up too go get a some water before Grian grabbed my arm.
"Where are you going?" Mumbo asked as he laid down.
"To get some water," I responded.
"Stay," Grian whined. He looked so cute like that.
"Fineeeeee," I said, dragging out the e.
I laid down and my shorter boyfriend cuddled up next to me. Mumbo and I wrapped our arms around Grian in a comforting way and Mumbo rested his chin on mine.
The two quickly fell asleep, leaving me with my thoughts. I smiled at my two boyfriends. They look so cute when they sleep. I would do anything to keep them safe, even if I have to hurt myself in the process.
Content with Grian and Mumbo's physical/mental health, I went to sleep.
