Grian POV
The ocean was peaceful. Waves glistened in the midday sun, fish swam in the deep blue body of water and me. Rowing across it in my little wooden boat.
In my defense, early season transport is really difficult. Was it my best decision when I saw clouds on the horizon? No. But was I known for good ideas? Nope.
"Row row row your boat gently down the stream~" I sang to entertain myself.
I had a very successful mining trip. Who knew how much surface iron there was in this area.
Leaning on the chest in my boat, I decided to take a break. As I did so, it started to rain. But I was too tired to care.
"Just a little nap..." I said as I drifted off to sleep.
Mumbo POV
"Iskall do you wanna go for a fly?" I asked my boyfriend.
"Isn't it raining love?"
"Yeah... but only a little."
"If you really want. Can we bring Gri pleaseeeee?"
"He doesn't have an elytra. Besides he's out on a trip."
Another great day in my great life. My boyfriends and I had been dating for a month. The other Hermits had been so supportive of our relationship and it made me really happy. I realized I didn't have to hide my sexuality anymore and would be accepted no matter what.
"You ready to go?" Iskall asked from the front door.
"Coming!"
~Time Skip~
We'd been flying for about an hour now. It was great; exploring the server and spending time with one of my boyfriends. The rain had gotten harder though so we decided to turn back.
On our way back though, a scream rang through the air.
Grian POV
I woke up to my boat tipping over. I barely had time to scream. The waves seemed to have tipped me over. I swam back up to the surface to take a breath but the waves pushed back down.

I kept trying to swim up but to no avail. The rain had descended into a storm while I had been asleep. The salty, cold water filled my lungs as the edges of my vision blurred. I sank lower into the ocean. Just before I fell unconscious, I felt something pull me up. Then I gave into the darkness.
Iskall POV ()
I broke the surface of the water and flew to the land nearby where Mumbo had frantically constructed a small shack. I rushed in with Grian in my arms and laid him down on the bed and Mumbo began to do CPR. He continued to do this for a minute or so as I sat in the corner. I was so worried for my boyfriend, yet I sat there doing nothing. I couldn't do anything but sit anxiously.
Grian began to cough which pulled me out of my thoughts. The tall hermit backed up a bit as The blonde began to regain consciousness. I sat him up and hit his back to help him stop choking on the sea water.
"I- iskall?" he whispered hoarsely.
"Grian your alright!" I said happily as I pulled him into a hug, Mumbo following.
"We were so worried..." Mumbo mumbled into my sweater.
"I'm so so sorry I didn't mean to worry you guys I didn't even tell you where I was going and I got distracted I'm sorry-"
"Love, your rambling again," Mumbo cut him off.
"I- I'm sorry..." G whispered.
"Don't be, you did nothing wrong," I quickly replied.
"If I can't say sorry... then thank you for saving me."
"Anytime love."
