It was morning at your house. The sound of birds can be heard, sunlight was shining in your room through the curtains. You slowly started to awake from your slumber. You stared up at your ceiling, slowly waking up, you sat up from your bed.

You felt some weight on right arm. You looked over and saw Rias sleeping peacefully with a smile on her face. She holding onto your arm with both of her arms, your arm was in-between her breasts.

You blushed slightly as you continued to look at her breasts. Realizing what your doing, you quickly shook your head and slowly but carefully started to move your arm out of her grasp.

After freeing yourself from Rias's grasp, you slowly started to get out of bed, not wanting to wake her up. You made your way to the dresser to get a shirt. Opening one of the drawers, you see multiple women's clothing in there along with your own.

You grabbed a white shirt and put it on. After that, you tip toed your way over to the door, you open it carefully and walked out of the room. You closed the door behind slowly.

Y/n:(Thoughts) It's been a few days since I beat Riser and saved Rias from the engagement. Since then, I've been training and getting used to my Fire Dragon Slayer Magic. As well as the Lightning Flame Dragon Mode.

You made your downstairs and into the living room. You put a hand over your mouth, stifling a yawn. Upon coming downstairs, you smell something delicious from the kitchen. Following your nose to the kitchen, you see Yui by the stove making eggs.

Y/n: Morning Yui, making eggs I see.

Yui turned around by the sound of your voice and smiled.

Yui: Morning Y/n. How'd you sleep.

Y/n: Okay, I guess.

You looked around and don't see Lexie anyway.

Y/n: Where's Lexie?

Yui: I sent her to the store, we're running out of food fast. Since we have four people living here.

Y/n: Make sense.

You walk over to fridge and opened it. You grabbed a milk carton, you opened it and started to drink from it. Yui sees this and quickly smacks your hand with the spatula she's holding.

Y/n; Ow! What was that for?

Yui: Don't drink out of the carton!

Y/n: Why? I don't see anything wrong from doing so.

Yui: We all use the milk for cereal! Now the milk has your germs in it.

Y/n: Okay, okay. I won't do it again. Probably.

Yui: That's probably the best I'm gonna get.

Yui continued to cook the eggs while you sit down and wait. You started to mess around with your flames, turning them into numerous shapes within your palm.

A few minutes have passed, Yui walks out of the kitchen.

Yui: Breakfasts done, you should go tell Rias.

Y/n: Alright.

You stood up from your seat and walked towards the stairs. Walking up the stairs, you hear the front door open. A familiar scent came in, Lexie.

You continued to walk up stairs and walk to your room. You opened your door, but not as quiet as before. Still on your bed, Rias continues to sleep peacefully. You smiled at this and walked over to the bed and took a seat on the edge.

Y/n: Rias, time to wake up. Breakfast is ready.

You put a hand on her shoulder and started to shake her gently. Rias eyes slowly opening, she looks at you with a droopy look on her face. Upon seeing you, she smiles.

Rias: Hey, good morning.

Y/n: Good morning to you too. Sleep well?

Rias: I did, yes.

Y/n: That's nice to hear. Breakfast is ready. You should get dressed.

Rias: Okay, I'll be downstairs soon.

You nod and turned away from Rias. You opened the door to your room and walk out. Walking back downstairs, you smelled another scent you were unfamiliar with.

You walk down to the living room and see a man sitting down on the couch.

You and the man just stared at each other in silence. Yui comes into the living to see you two staring at each other. She clears her throat.

Yui: I see you two met. Y/n this is James, James this is Y/n.

James: Ah, so he's your so-called son. Well a pleasure to met you my boy.

He holds out his hand, you look at Yui. She gestures for you to shake his head. Walking towards him, you firmly shook his hand. He looks surprised.

James: Quite a grip you got there, you look quite skinny, but I guess looks can be deceiving.

You looked at him annoyed when he said skinny.

James: But now that I got a closer look at you, you're not quite as skinny as I thought.

Y/n: Oh, wow thanks.

You mumbled out.

James: Forgive me for saying this but, you two don't look alike.

Y/n: What gave it away? The black hair or green eyes?

James: Both.

Yui walked up to you and placed a hand on your shoulder.

Yui: As you can tell, Y/n ain't my actual son. I adopted him when he was younger.

James: Ah, that makes sense.

You looked at Yui.

Y/n: Mind explaining, why he's inside our house.

Yui: Yes, I should explain that. But right after breakfast.

Footsteps can be heard from the stairs as an all too familiar scent filled your nose.

Rias: Good evening, mother.

Rias comes downstairs with a bright smile on her face. She walks towards you and stood right next to you.

James: And who's this?

Rias noticed James sitting on the couch. She smiles at him.

Rias: My name is Rias Gremory, a pleasure to meet you.

James: Likewise miss Gremory.

You said nothing and walked over to the table and sat down. Rias follows you at the table and sat down next to you.

You started to think about Rias's behavior lately, ever since you saved her from the engagement. She's been awfully close to you. You looked over at Rias and saw the smile on her face. She notices your stare.

Rias: Something on my face?

Y/n: No, sorry. I was just thinking about something.

Rias: And that is?

You looked at her and smiled.

Y/n: It's nothing important.

Rias decided not to push it. You both sat there waiting for breakfast. Rias looked at you, or more precisely. Your neck. Rias leaned towards you, you noticed this and looked at her.

Rias moved your scarf down, revealing the scar on your neck. She felt guilty by it. You slightly blushed by how close she is to you.

Rias: I'm sorry Y/n.

Y/n: F-For what?

Rias: The scar on your neck. You got it because of me. I did this to you.

Realizing what she's referring to, you quickly took her hand into yours. Rias blushed by the contact of your hand.

Y/n: You shouldn't feel guilty because of the this scar. I actually kinda like it.

You gave her sweet smile. A smile that she loved to see.

You both stared at each other, smiling at one another.

Just then Lexie comes over and places plates in front of both of you. This snaps both of you back into reality, a blush appeared on your face.

James sits up from the couch and walked over to the table. He grabs a seat and sits down on your right. Yui grabbed a seat right next to James.

It was quiet at the table, the only that can be heard was clank of silverware hitting the plates.

You kept looking at Rias who still had a smile on her face while she ate. From the corner of her eyes, she noticed your stare and looked at you.

A cough can be heard as you both looked at Lexie. She pointed at the clock on the wall, pointing out that it was time for you two to head to school.

You and Rias stood up holding onto your plates.

Rias: Dinner was good as always mother.

Yui: Y-Yeah, thanks.

Rias calling Yui mother felt weird to her. Ever since staying with you, Rias has been calling her that.

James: If you guys want, I can give you a ride in my car to school.

Your eyes widened upon hearing car.

Y/n: NO! We're good!

James jumped in surprise from your sudden outburst. Rias and Yui giggled, knowing the reason for your outburst.

James: Okay, then.

You walked upstairs in a fast manner. Rias chuckles and walked upstairs as well.

Rias opened the door to your room and saw you taking off your shirt. Her face went red instantly upon seeing you shirtless, you yourself went red from Rias looking at you.

Rias made her way into the room and walked behind you. Rias started to change into her school uniform, while you were finishing up.

You looked at yourself in the mirror making sure you weren't unkempt. Looking at the reflection of the mirror, you saw Rias finishing changing. She put her socks on, when she turned around and looked at you. A blush was present on her face as well as yours.

Rias smiles and made her way over to you.

You noticed this and turned around to face Rias. She was in front of you, she spread out her arms and wrapped them around you. Her cheek was pressed against yours, this was the first time you noticed that you and Rias have the exact same height.

You wrapped your arms around Rias.

Y/n: Is something wrong?

She shakes her head, Rias looked at you her eyes glimmering.

Rias: Yes, why wouldn't I be?

Rias smiles at you, that was enough to convince you that she was fine. You both stood there for a while until Rias broke the hug.

Rias: We should get going if we don't wanna be late.

You nodded. Both of you walked out of your room and downstairs.

Walking out of the house, you two made your way to Kuoh Academy. Rias was all smile along the way. You looked forward and continued walking. Rias took the chance to slip her hand into yours.

You looked at Rias confused by why she's holding your hand. Rias smiles at you.

Rias gasps and stops in her making you as well. Wondering what she's looking at, you looked forward and saw Jin leaning against a wall smoking a cigarette.

You felt Rias's hand tremble. Looking at her face, you could tell she was worried. You put your other hand on top of Rias's hand, she looked at you. You gave her a reassuring smile.

You let go of her hand and walked over to Jin. He notices this and smiled at you.

Jin: About time you got here. I've been waiting here for a while now.

Y/n: Exactly how long were you waiting for?

Jin: That's not important right now.

Y/n: Whatever you say old man. What's up?

Jin: I need to speak to you... in private.

He looks over at Rias who was standing a few feet away from you. You nodded.

You turned in Rias's direction and held up your index finger saying wait a second. Rias nods but has a concerned look on her face.

Jin walked forward while you followed him. After walking a few feet away from Rias, you both stopped. Jin smoked his cigarette and puffed out smoke.

Jin: You stirred up the hornet's nest now kid.

You crossed your arm.

Y/n: What exactly did I do?

Jin: Well for starters, you took out the brute Goliath who was assigned to find Mio but gone rogue. And then there's Zedonius, who also was assigned to find Mio. He serves the new Demon Lord.

Y/n: And?

Jin threw his cigarette on the ground and stepped on it.

Jin: Well, the Demon Lord sees you as a threat.

Y/n: They see a sixteen year old as a threat?

Jin: You beat Zedonius, of course they'll see you as one. The Demon Lord will probably send some Demons after you, but not anyone powerful.

Y/n: Why not?

Jin: The House of Gremory of course. Would you wanna risk a war with the Great Devil King?

Y/n: Makes sense I guess, but why send weaker Demons after me? What good will that accomplish?

Jin: Most likely to distract you, but you should know they're three other Demons like Zedonius. They don't have the same powers but they're just as dangerous as Zedonius was. And they'll most likely be coming here for you?

Y/n: Let them come, I'm stronger than before. They won't be a problem.

Jin smirks.

Jin: If you say so kid. Anyway...

He turned away from you.

Jin: I gotta get going.

Y/n: Where you going?

Jin: Someone has to keep an eye on Mio. So I decided to give you a warning before I headed out.

Y/n: I see, well thanks.

Jin: See you later kid.

Jin walked away with his hands in his pockets, you continued to watch him walk away until a hand grabbed hold of your arm.

Turning around, you saw Rias with a concerned look on her face.

Rias: Is everything okay? He didn't hurt you, did he?

Y/n: No, I'm all good.

Rias let out a breath of relief. She looked at you.

Rias: I take you two have met a couple of times. What did you two talk about?

Y/n: Just saying he was leaving, nothing really important.

You decided not to tell Rias about the Demons.

Rias: Okay, I was a little worried there for a second. It's not every day you see a War God.

Y/n: Yeah.

You felt guilty for not telling Rias the full story, but decided it was better this way.

Rias: We should get going.

You nodded and followed Rias from behind as she lead the way.

A few minutes passed since your conversation with Jin, you and Rias arrived at school. A few people hung around outside.

Rias stopped in her tracks to turn around and look at you. A smile was present on her face. You smiled as well, seeing her happy made you feel, well happy as well.

Rias walked towards you.

Rias: Why are you looking at me like that?

I slightly blushed, you turned your head to the right and avoided eye contact with her.

Y/n: N-No reason. I was just thinking... you seem really happy today.

She placed a hand on the right side of your face, making your face redder than before.

Rias: Of course I'm happy, why wouldn't I be?

Her face was close to yours, making you remember the time she kissed you on the lips.

???: Hey look, it's the Prez and Y/n!

An all too familiar voice was heard from behind. Rias removed her hand from your cheek.

You turned around to see Issei and Asia, in their school uniform walking towards you both. You smiled at their arrival.

Y/n: Hey guys!

Issei and Asia both stopped in front of you and Rias. Issei looks at your scarf and raised an eyebrow.

Issei: Don't you ever get hot dude? I mean, I get it. That's scarf is important to you, but doesn't it get a little warm for you.

You grinned at Issei.

Y/n: Not anymore!

Issei sweat dropped in realization.

Issei: Right, how could I forget. You don't get hot anymore.

Asia: Good morning Y/n!

Asia runs up to her and wraps her arms around your torso, giving you a hug. You smiled.

Y/n: Good morning to you to Asia.

You pat Asia on top of her head, earning a giggle out of her. Issei looked at this, jealousy building up within him.

Issei: Hey! Get your scaly hands off of her.

Y/n: The heck is your problem? We're just hugging.

Rias giggles by knowing why Issei was behaving like this.

Issei; You already got enough girls fawning over you!

Y/n: What's that do with this? There's nothing wrong with a hug?

You broke the hug from Asia and raised your eyebrow at Issei.

Issei huffs. Kiba and Koneko was seen walking towards you all. Both of them waving their hands upon seeing you all. You returned the wave.

Kiba: Now this is rare, all of us here.

Y/n: Your right, this is definitely rare. Well not all of us are here. Only person we're missing is--

Just then you felt someone on your back as arms wrap around your neck. You could feel a hot breath on your neck.

You quickly smacked away the arms around your neck and jumped into Koneko's arms, you looked over at the spot you were at and saw Akeno smiling with her eyes closed.

You looked back at Koneko and smiled sheepishly.

Y/n: Sorry.

Koneko let's go of you as you hit the ground with a thud.

Y/n: Ow.

You instantly stood up with a smile on your face, seeing your friends in one spot made you happy.

Akeno turned to Rias and bowed.

Akeno: Morning President.

Rias: Good morning to you, Akeno.

You looked at Issei.

Y/n: So, when's the Kendo clubs next chase.

Issei: Huh?

Issei looked at you tilting his head in confusion.

Y/n: You should tell me when you're gonna go peak on them, so I can prepare some popcorn and watch them beat you senseless.

This made Koneko smile a bit which you say from the corner of your eye.

Y/n: Ha! I made you smile.

You pointed at Koneko who looked away with a blush on her face.

Koneko: Suck it.

Kiba chuckles, while Rias and Akeno both watch with a smile on their faces.

Issei huffs and glares at you.

Y/n: Awww, don't give me that look. I was just poking fun. I didn't mean anything by it, I swear.

You threw an arm around Issei's shoulder while giving him an apologetic smile.

Issei couldn't smiled slightly.

Issei: Yeah man, I knew you didn't mean to.

You grinned at Issei.

Rias: Alright you guys, it's about time we all should head inside. As a group.

Kiba: Sounds like a great idea.

Koneko nods in agreement.

Asia: Yay.

Akeno: All of together, I'm game.

Issei: Heck yeah!

Everyone looked at you waiting for your answer.

Y/n: Do you even need to ask, of course I'm up for it!

With that, everyone turned around to face the entrance. You all started to walk, Issei, Asia, Kiba and Koneko walked in front of you, while You, Rias, and Akeno walked behind them. All the girls were fan girling at Kiba, while Koneko had her usual expression. Both Issei and Asia were chatting and walking.

Rias and Akeno did the same as well, while you just listened. You looked around and noticed some girls staring at you, you waved at one of them with a smile on your face, causing one of them to faint.

You looked over at Rias, who didn't care about what people said. She noticed you staring at her and smiled at you, a smile you never tire of seeing. You grinned at her, a grin that she loved seeing. Rias blushed upon seeing it.

???: Brother.

An echoey voice called out to you, making you stop. Turning around, you looked behind and saw nothing out of the ordinary. You continued to scan your surrounding area, to find something unordinary, but saw nothing.

Issei: Hey, Y/n!

You turned back to the ground and saw everyone standing still. Asia waved her hands at you.

Issei: You coming man?

Y/n: Y-Yeah, sorry.

You walked towards them while rubbing the back of your head.

Somewhere behind you, standing on a building was a man. He was wearing a black clock that covered his body, he looks up revealing his white hair and red eyes. Tears were falling down on the sides of his face.

???: It's been so long since we been this close to each other... little brother.

He continued to watch you walk over to Rias and the others. Tears were falling down his face.

???: I've waited for so long to see you again, Yuuichi. I nearly gave up, but seeing you again. It brings me joy, little brother. Look at you, you've gotten taller.

He pulls out a picture from his cloak and looks at it. On it, was a woman with black hair and green eyes.

???: I've finally did it mother. I found him.
