《Save The Netherworld, Iruma-Kun!! || A WTDSIK Fanfiction》Chapter 21: The Castle

It took a few days. Clara's mother was worried about them, and Iruma almost wished he could stay with them. Wished they could all stay. He'd stay with Ameri and Clara and Asmodeus- but he'd miss his father.
Miss both of them, really. Kalego had become as much of a father to him as Balam. Kalego was stubborn, and strict, but he was also nice and kind when Iruma got to know him- expecially since he had kind of scared Iruma the first time he had gotten angry at his students.
Even still, Iruma felt like he had a hole in his heart. Balam usually tucked him in, and Kalego usually lit a nightlight for him (Although the demon rambled on about how Iruma was too old for a nightlight, but still always lit one for him). Bunji would climb on his bed and sleep on the other side. Balam would say goodnight and would mess up his hair before he slept, and Kalego would call him a brat before leaving with Balam.
On the last night of their stay Iruma was up by himself, looking at the sky. He always loved the sky in the Neatherworld- it was so pretty at night.
"It's late kid. What are you still doing up?" Iruma doesn't even jump when he hears Alikreds voice, sighing. He stayed quiet for a little while longer, before speaking quietly.
"Is there anyway to get you out of the ring, Derkila?" It's quiet for too long, and Iruma's eyes drift down to the ring. "Derkila?"
"You want... To free me..?" It almost sounded like Alikred couldn't believe him, like Iruma was joking, or
"Ofcourse. Your my dad too. I can have as many as I want, although I only have three. You, Kalego, and Balam."
"Oh i-... Thank you.. I'm sorry I wasn't there-"
"You don't have to apologize. I understand why you left." He sighs. "I want to help you out of the ring. I'm stealing your powers and I'm sure you don't like staying with me for so long-"

"Iruma, I've watched you grow up over the past four years and I've never complained once, and I never will complain. You arn't stealing my powers, your borrowing them, and for now it's good I'm with you. Your technically a hybrid- your a mixture of a demon and a human- Usually I'd have to regulate your body, which I've been doing myself with my magic."
"Oh, I... Thank you..."
"If you really want to free me, you'd have to take down Baal first. He holds the power that's trapping me in here, and for that, you have to take him down. Not kill him but... Make him back down. Then you'll be able to do the ritual to free me."
"And then I'll give you a hug." Iruma says. "So then the circle of hugs I give my dad is complete." Alikred laughs.
"Ofcourse you can give me a hug Iruma. I'd much appreciate it. I think you should get some rest now, right?" Iruma yawns, nodding a little as he lays against the ground. "The time for fighting will be tommorow. Rest easy tonight."
"Goodnight Derkila..." Alikred sighs, chuckling quietly.
"I told you, when I'm in the ring, just call me Alikred."

Iruma held onto Ameris hands as they flew across the sky, Asmodeus right behind to catch him if anything happened and Clara on his left. Today was the day. This was it. He watched the castle come over the horizon, shivering slightly as he looked at it.
"That's Baal's castle? Typical evil villan. Always needs a big fancy castle. Kinda like the humans in all the demontale stories." Iruma tries to not take that to heart as he stares at the castle. The thing was massive, towering over the landscape.
It made Iruma feel tiny as they land close by the castle, the shadow covering them like the moon covered the sun on eclipses. They stay deep in the woods still, the fear of being caught greater than the fear of the castle.

"So, what's the plan?" Ameri says. "Iruma?" Iruma blinks, looking as everyone looks at him. "What should we do?"
"O-oh, i'm-... Your asking me?" Ameri nods.
"You seem to be the type of person who always has a good plan. Besides, my plan includes us rushing in."
"Mines would take too long." Asmodeus' says. "And Clara's are going to be too reckless. So, Iruma. What's the plan?" Iruma stares at the castle, before a plan comes into his head. It would be kind of stupid, and It'd require running off on his own but...
"I have a plan."

Baal sits on his throne, watching the Thirteen Crowns get dragged into his chambers. Kalego and Balam too, ofcourse, and He almost felt bad as he saw Robin struggling to drag Balam in. Almost.
"Welcome to my inner chambers, Thirteen. I'm sure you all have questions and I'm electing not to awnser them at all."
"Your a traitor, Baal. Hurting the Thirteen like this." Kalego hisses out, and Baal only grins.
"Ah, Kalego. Always the one to speak up against tyranny, but never against the demon king. Oh, right, we were kids and you didn't care."
"Is that what you want?" Baal had never really heard Balam talk before, so it was a shock to hear him speak. "You want to destroy his legacy?"
"He never should have had the legacy in the first place!" Baal snaps. "That tratiorus idiot didn't know how good he had it."
"Your blinded by your rage." Opera whispers. The cats clothing was ripped, him sitting to the right of Baal on the ground. A chain leading from a metal collar was wrapped around a chain on the chair. Baal was just using him as a pet- Like all demons that had extra appendages or looked unlike the true ones should be. If Balam wasn't so dangerous he'd have him on his left.
"All your doing is trying to ruin the world the demon king created." Balam says, and Baal frowns, standing up. Balam didn't look scared, however, challenging the man with how he sat. "Your the one that's a traitor here." He stalked over to Balam, grabbing the demon's chin.
"I could kill you right now where you sat." Balam chuckles. Baal knows the man isn't afraid, since Baal knew he couldn't possibly kill Balam without some pretty powerful magic.
"Careful. I'm a dangerous gargoyle, remember? And I will rip your arm off with my teeth." Baal shoves him away, smirking in satisfaction as the gargoyle nearly bust his head of the floor as he fell.
"You all have the unfortunate cause of being in my way to becoming the demon king." Baal stands in the middle of this smallish group, feeling the burning glare of sullivan in his back. "I think killing you all-" Before Baal could finish his sentence, the lights go out- the only light showing is the red light from the brightening sky outside "Robin, Kirio?"
"Down, I'm afraid." The lights come back on, yet their dimmed, and a girl, a glowing girl, stands a couple of feet infront of him. Kirio and Robin were on the ground, Kirio still awake and struggling in the rope he had been tied up in, and Robin out against a side wall, blood pooling from his head. "But I'm here to fight you."
"Fight, really? Who even are you?" The young girl stands tall and proud, holding up her fist.
"My name is Ameri Azazel. You stole my father, and tried to kill my friends."
"Your just a child. What can you possibly do?" The girl, Ameri, grins, glowing more. Baal doesn't like that.
