《Save The Netherworld, Iruma-Kun!! || A WTDSIK Fanfiction》Chapter 22: Iruma Balam. Son of Three

Ameri was no match for Baal, ofcourse. He was stronger than normal demons, and the girl was down in a couple of minutes. Ofcourse, he was impressed with her power. He only used a bit of his power, almost half, while it seemed like she used little, almost none of it.
He had plucked her out of the air, staring at her as she struggled in his arms. So her power was like her fathers- if he could just break her spirit now, when she grew older she'd fight for him, and him only. He shook her a bit as he laughed a little, holding her arms in his hands.
"This was fun! Your a great sparring partner, but I think you'll be even greater once your fighting spirit is broken-" Baal yells as someone drops onto his shoulders, covering his eyes- he drops Ameri, struggling to see again.
"Ameri run! I got him at his weakspot!" Someone's voice yells as he stumbles around, trying to throw this person off of him.
"Clara get off of him!!"
"I can't he'll grab me!" Baal finally managed to grab the child, throwing whoever it was into the wall- and grinning when he heard a crunch, and a thump. He rubbed his eyes a bit, frowning.
"Clara!" Ameri was on the floor where he dropped her, running over to a smaller girl on the ground. Baal assumed it was the child he had thrown. He starts walking over to them, a smirk on his face. These small children thought that they could attack without any help from adults? They were strong.
"Did you both come here by yourself? How cute. I'll get Kirio and Robin to break you both, your good fighters, although you play dirty-" He gets blasted in the face by fire, stumbling back. One more child, a young boy- Asmodeus- stood infront of him, a frown on his face.
"Stay away from them." He growls out. "Otherwise you'll get hit again."
"Asmodeus! I'm suprised you never joined our cause willingly. That boy-Irurma- tainted your mind. You can return to your orgins, don't you understand how amazing that would be?"
"Returning to Orgins? You want people to die!" Ameri yells, and Baal smirks.
"And? What's a few demons dead in order to achieve the perfect world?" He steps forward again, and a flash of fear goes off on Asmodeus' face. Good. The boy should be scared of him. "The Neatherworld would be better off if the strong were ruling, and the weak were the strongs slaves. That's how it's going to be, and that's how it should be."
"Stay back." Asmodeus says, still sounding so strong. Baal wished he didn't have to break the young boys spirit in order to get him to work with him. "Otherwise I will kill you." Amri was still sitting with the younger girl-Clara- who was still out. Baal stepped forward again, and Asmodeus stepped back.
"Hit me. I'll even give you a freebie." Baal says. "If you can harm me in this time, then I'll let your mother go." Asmodeus frowns, raising his hands, before-
"Stop!" Another demon slams down infront of Asmodeus, and Baal steps back, frowning. So they did bring an adult...
-
Iruma looks up, seeing Baal's face of confusion. The wings on his back felt weird- but they looked similar to Balam's, and he loved them.
While his friends distracted Baal, he went off to find out what curse Baal had put on Alikred, and to find his dads. Instead of finding it, he found something entirely different.

"He put a curse on me to. Thats why I havent shown any demonic powers or anything like that- I've been stunted!" Alikred hums.
"I never thought he could get through my defenses. It must have weakened slightly after I died. This is dangerous though Iruma. Your body may not be able to handle the powers you've been given- you could burst into flame or-"
"Dad. I'm ready." Iruma says, and Alikred only sighs.
"Just like your mother, huh? Both of you are so damn stubborn." He mumbles out. "Just say the words on the page- I'll keep track of your power level and try to take any that goes above your bodies capability."
"Leave them alone." Iruma whispers, standing up straight. Baal only grins.
"This isn't a happy story for you, is it, Iruma Shichiro?" Iruma dodges out of the way, a little bit wobbly as he flies (He did JUST learn how to fly) back, grabbing a sword off the wall. He didn't want to fight at ALL, but... "I'll kill you and start the return back to Origins."
Iruma shot off the wall, holding up the sword. It clashes against Baal's sword- Iruma didn't even notice the man grab one. He had Alikred in his mind- Baal was too predictable, and as they fought, he struggled a bit to keep up. The demon was strong, and even though Iruma now had his demon powers- he was still technically a hybrid.
"Why do you want to kill humans? What have they done to you?" Iruma holds the sword with two hands, being forced to slide backwards. He could hear Asmodeus start to unlock the adults in the back. If they could do that- then Iruma could hold out a bit more.
This was also a distraction- albeit a dangerous one. Iruma was gambling his life here.
"Move back and go right." Iruma followed Alikred's instructions, pulling in his wings as Baal tries to stab them.
"Your supposed to be a demon and you don't know why I want to kill humans?" Iruma dodges to his left as Baal miscalculated for the hit- nicking Iruma's wings in the process. When Iruma falters in moving he's grabbed. "What kind of demon are you??"
Iruma holds onto Baal as the demon stares him in the eyes, before laughing hysterically. What kind of demon- he wasnt even a real one by everyone else's standards. Baal shook him violently, and he finally calmed down, wiping the tears from his eyes.
"I asked you a question." Baal says. "Are you really going to disobey your new demon king?"
"My name is Iruma Balam." Iruma starts, looking him in the eyes. "Son of Balam Shichiro, Narberus Kalego, and The Demon King, Derkila." He hears a couple of gasps, and Iruma smiles as Balam's face grows to one of recognization. "And I just punked you out of your time. Now, Asmodeus!" Iruma slips out of his shirt- he hadnt had it on the full way the entire time for this moment.
They knew something like this would happen- well, Iruma telling everyone he was the demon kings son wasnt one of the things he wanted to do but it didn't matter. Shirtless, he rolls as Asmodeus blast Baal with a fireball, and before he could recover, Ameri punches him in the face.
While they attacked him, Iruma ran over to Kalego and Balam, unlocking their chains, and for good measure, let Sullivan out too. Balam hugged him-squeezed him nearly to death. Iurma had missed him too. Iruma takes Balam's mask off his face, trying to hand it back, but Balam doesn't take it.

"It's yours. I can get another." Balam puts it back onto Iruma before setting it down, cracking his knuckles.
"You think you can keep up with me and Kalego, Sullivan?" Sullivan laughs, winking at Iruma.
"I'm guessing you've never seen me in action."
"Oh I've seen, you suck." Kalego says. "Iruma. Release the other council members while we take care of this one." He nods, however, he heads over to Clara first. The girls shoulder had come out of the socket- Alikred didn't know healing spells and Clara didn't seem to be in any pain, finally awake but pale and leaning against the wall where she had hit.
"Iruma-Kun!" Clara smiles. "I was wondering if you were alright."
"Yeah. Is your arm okay?" She nods.
"Ameri popped it back into place before she left, and now my arm is sore. I can't move it right now." Clara hisses as she pokes her left arm. "I got bruises, I'll probably be in a cast."
"I'm really sorry Clara. I should have-"
"It's okay. I'm fine. Asmodeus says that he'll help me, go help the others- duck!" Iruma falls to the ground as Baal's sword hits the wall Clara was leaning against. "Okay, maybe I want to move a little-" Iruma helps her up before half walking, half dragging her to the other Thirteen Crowns, setting her down and handing her a set of keys.
"Unlock them and I'll get-" Iruma feels himself get grabbed from behind, and a knife gets put to his throat. It was Baal. Desprate, angry, Baal. He heard three different voices go off as the knife presses more into his throat, and he doesnt swallow, scared of cutting himself on it.
"I'm going to walk out of here with this boy and your all going to forget about this. Otherwise he'll die." Iruma struggles a little and hisses as the Knife nicks him, blood starting to drip down from his throat.
"Let him go, Baal. Your over with." Balam says, stepping forward. "Nobody else has to get hurt." Iruma stops listening, trying to figure out what he'd do. He was stuck- hoping that someone would come along and help him. He couldnt struggle or he'd be killed- something he didnt want to happen.
"Iruma, I have an idea." The boy pauses, hearing the yelling between the adults get louder, and watched Balam get angrier and angrier.
"Whats your plan?"
"This is a fifty fifty chance but..." Alikred goes silent, before sighing. Iruma didn't know if that was a good thing or a bad thing. "Theres a spell that I've used before to get creatures... unstuck from magical entites like this ring, but it was a creature. If we use that spell, it could help us both."
Iruma holds up his neck as Baal presses the knife deeper into his neck, more blood pouring from his neck. If they didnt hurry Iruma would be halfway decapitated. Iruma bit his lip. He'd just have to bite the bullet and do the spell.
"Whats the spell?"
"Pandoroola Hanareru. It releases all the energy from the magical entity and can possibly get me out of here. But if not then it'll atleast get you away from Baal, and Balam will have enough time to attack." Iruma takes a deep breath, hearing Baal open his wings- they wouldnt attack Baal with Iruma so close to him- The demon was probably going to escape scott free and kill Iruma once they got free of the castle. The spell was worth a shot. He took a deep breath, worried for his and Alikreds safety.
"Pandoroola Hanareru!"He yelled, and for a split second, nothing happened. He opened his mouth to yell it again, before everything flashes white for a few seconds, and Iruma manages to kick off from Baal, being caught by someone else.
"Fucking finally. I was getting tired of being in that ring." Iruma blinks his eyes open, looking up into the face of a tall lightskinned demon, with dark purple hair that was up in a half bun and dark purple eyes. His horns were big, and had little trinkets on it. The ring around Iruma's finger broke. "Iruma-Kun, thank you."
"A-alikred?" Iruma blinks, staring at the man who now held him in his arms.
"Yes, but now you can call me Derkila. I feel much more like myself now." He rubs Iruma's head, messing up his hair as Baal stumbles back away from them.
"N-no- How I-" Derklia hands Iruma to Balam, cracking his knuckles. "I-i killed you!"
"Honestly, being in that ring did absolute wonders for me." Derkila stretches, stepping forward to Baal, who had a frown on his face. "It helped me grow, and learn about the human world and parts of the Natherworld I've never thought to see. Today, however... I think you should be in the same position."
"Y-your can't!" Derkila steps forward.
"I can." Baal growls, before running forward at Derkila, punching, but Derkila grabs his hand, slamming him onto the floor, and the demon continues to struggle as Derkila starts to whisper something.
Iruma doesn't understand the language- it's in a language he's never known before- but Balam covers Iruma's ears as there's a flash of white light, and Iruma covers his eyes, hearing Baal scream- and then Baal is no more.
Derkila holds a ring in his hand, placing it on his finger. "Now, how about we get you all some medical help?"
-
Derkila watches as Demon Border Control leads away Kirio and Robin, sitting on the steps of Baal's castle. The others were getting medical treatment inside, and luckily, everyone was okay.
He let the sun shine on his face as he sat there, feeling the heat splay against him- smelling the fresh air. It'd been so long since he'd been outside. It made him miss Bunji.
"Derkila?" He opens his eyes, turning to see Iruma standing on the stairs. "Sorry if I'm inturupting you-"
"No no, come sit." Derkila pat's the steps beside him, and when Iruma sits by him, he realizes how small his son really was. "What's up?"
"Would... It be okay if I still stayed with Balam? I'm glad that your my dad but-"
"Really, that's what you wanted to ask?" Derkila chuckles, messing up his hair. "Ofcourse you can. I'm just the one who helped make you."
"Eww!!" He laughs, and Derkila laughs with him. "I also wanted to ask... What are you going to do with Baal...?" He glanced down at the ring still on Derkila's finger. "A-are you really going to keep him in the ring forever...?"
"...." Derkila looks down. He didn't... Know. Honestly, he wanted to. The demon had done too much to be forgiven- he had hurt Iruma and himself. "I... Don't know... I-.."
"If you are, could I keep him?" That was not what he thought Iruma was going to say.
"W-what??"Derkila looks over at him, suprised. "Iruma, this is a big responsibility and-"
"I want to show him that everyone matters, not just him." Iruma's eyes twinkle. The mask on his face shifts, and Derkila could tell he was smiling. "Maybe he's been hurt to in the past, just like me, and just like you, and everyone else."
"I was hurt and I didn't want to kill anybody." Derkila tries to make the argument, but Iruma only shakes his head.
"Sometimes people have pain that is so great, they want everyone to feel it. Sometimes it takes over, and forces you to see how bad everything is, and then you just want to scream the pain out to everyone you meet. Even though I'm not forgiving him, maybe this could help him." Derkila looks at his son, feeling his eyes well up with tears. His boy was so... He didn't even know what to say.
"Your better than me." He replies. "I waas just going to kill him. Throw him into lava."
"D-derkila!" Iruma punches Derkila's arm and the demon laughs, smiling at his younger son.
"But here." Derkila hands the ring to his young son, watching the boy stare at it."He's trapped in the ring of gluttony, I fixed it after I broke it."
"Thank you..." Iruma whispers, and Derkila nods. "Your... A really good person-erm... Demon? Ah, I still don't... Know what to say..?"
"Demon." He was a demon, yes.
"Right. And your my dad, so I trust you. I'll do all I can to make sure Baal stops wanting to kill people!" Derkila sweatdrops.
"Can... Can you say it less excitedly...?"
"Nope!" Iruma laughs, and Derkila messes up his hair, pulling him close.
"Glad your okay, kid."
"Yeah... Me too."
