《Save The Netherworld, Iruma-Kun!! || A WTDSIK Fanfiction》Chapter 15: Moonlight talk

Iruma laid in bed, staring up at the ceiling, feeling like the weight of the world was crashing in on him. Bunji was asleep at the foot of the bed, and as Iruma sat up, Bunji's ears flickered, pointing up.
"Sorry to wake you Bunji. I didn't mean to." He whispered, sliding off the bed. He starts getting his shoes on. "I think I just need a break." He heads to the door, feeling Bunji push against his back, and he pushes him off a bit. "Bunji.." he mumbles, heading downstairs. He's careful not to wake Kalego, who was fast asleep on the couch, or his father, who was asleep in his room, the door open. He leaves the house, Bunji decisively following after the younger boy as he went.
Everything was so... Weird. Everything didn't make sense. Why did the attack on the school happen? Who had wanted him dead- who was the master? Iruma shook his head to clear his thoughts but it didn't help.
Tonight was a quiet night. Usually it's be loud- some animal would be screamin about something- but it was quiet. Iruma liked quiet nights. It helped him think better when he stayed up later than his dad on nights he couldn't sleep.
Iruma laid down on the ground, staring at the moon. Everything was so messed up, he just wanted it all to go back to normal, but he knew it wasn't. Everything had already come to fruition, nothing could be done.
"So you couldn't sleep either?" Alikred's voice slowly wafts through his mind. "Don't worry, I won't tell you to go back to sleep."
"I just... Everything is so much." He sits down, looking at the moon. Everything kind of looked like earth, although he had nearly forgotten what the night sky on earth looked like. "Everything is scary and-and-" He wipes away his tears. "Why attack the harvest festival...?"
"They said something about a 'Master', and the boys collar had a symbol I know too well on it. Baal's symbol. Besides, they smelt of Baal. He has a very distinct scent. "

"Baal? Is that their master?" Bunji growls as Iruma says the name, glancing over at the boy. "Is he-"
"He's one of the Thirteen, yes. He was the one who trapped me in the ring. He was the one who wanted my death. He's the reason I'm like this." Alikred's voice sounds cold. Upset. Angry. Iruma glanced down at the ring.
"What... Happened...? Can you tell me? Or-"
"You... You deserve to know. I know so much about you, but you know nothing about me."
"You were alive still when we were in the human world?"
"Ofcourse. I was just... Dormant. Sleeping. I woke sometimes to listen to what was going on but other than that I stayed asleep." It's quiet for a few minutes before Alikred sighs. "Before... I was in this ring... I was named something else. Derkila. My grandfather had officially given me the name after he had taken me in secretly. If you really want to know what happened-"
"Yes! Yes I do!" Iruma says. "I want to help you out of this ring one day. You don't deserve to be stuck in it."
"Never heard anyone say that before. I guess I should start at the beginning."
-
"You fucking traitor!" Derkila jumps away from Baal as the man slams the floor infront of him. He curses as lightning hits him in the back, moving him forward to get kicked back into the wall. "You deserve your death. You deserve to never be the demon king."
"I'm no traitor, Baal. Your the one attacking your master." Baal growls, punching, but Derkila dodges, grabbing the man to throw him against the wall, hearing the thump as he hits it. "I can explain everything and you'll understand."
"I know what happened. You went to the human world and got a human pregnant. You betrayed your kind!"
"I was doing what I had to do."

"You got a human pregnant!"
"You don't understand yet. I'm not going to be around forever- I need a person who will take over for me when I do go." Baal growls, running twords the man and tackling him, tumbling into the still open portal to the human world. There, they were weaker.
Derkila was already weak- he had given up most of his power to keep his new child safe and unharmed from Baal. The mother and child would be suspended until it was time but it was to insure their safety. They were at the site- the site where the mother slept soundly in the almost tomb like room he had made for her.
He saw Baal's movements before he could blink, and sloppily dodges out of the way, gasping as a punch to the face sends him flying, hitting the ground hard. He coughs, feeling blood on his hands as he puts a hand on his side, getting up.
"I'll kill you here, so you can never again come back to the demon world." Baal yells. "You'll stay here and die over and over and over again, and it'll be the best fucking pleasure I could ever get."
"All I wanted was to have a family, Baal. It's been centuries since I was with someone- I needed a release!"
"There's multiple women in the demon world fit to be queens! Not some lowly human." Baal steps closer, and Derkila steps back. "The human woman. You've forced her to sleep until you revive, isn't that right? I'm also guessing she's thickly covered in your magic, which means that I won't be able to kill her that way. But it doesn't mean I won't try!" Baal rushes forward, and Derkila runs at him, tackling him down.
"I should have never trusted you Baal! You'll die today, now-" Derkila stops, feeling the sword slam through him. H-how...?
"I knew you were going to try and save your little bastard. All I did was just wait until you rushed me." Baal shoved him off, and Derkila coughs again, feeling himself weaken more. If he was to die here, he'd die going out fighting. "Rings hold power, did you know that?"
"What are you on you asshole?" Derkila growls out, feeling Baal grab his hand, removing his ring. The one his mother- "Your stealing from a soon to be dead man?"
"No." Baal grins at him. "I just think I should congratulate you." Baal chuckles. "You get to watch your bastard grow up. Just not in the way you wanted." Baal whispers a spell, and Derkila knows it.
"No.. you can't.."
"Goodbye, Derkila. I hope you die in this realm." Derkila panics as he tries to get up, but his body wont move. He feels himself getting sleepy, and before he knows it, his head hits the ground, and he's out.
-
"After that I renamed myself Alikred, and was trapped in the ring. Whatever spell Baal said I won't be able to break it- I've never been able to break it." Iruma's quiet for a couple of seconds, sitting up.
"Derkila?"
"Just keep calling me Alikred kid. I don't deserve the name Sullivan gave me."
"What happened to the mom and the kid..? Were you able to see them grow up, like you wanted?" Alikred chuckles, and Iruma hears him sniffling. "You don't have to awnser-"
"Yeah. I'm able to see him grow up." Iruma smiles, yawning again.
"Thats good. I'm glad your able to." He mummers out. "I hope he's nice..." Alikred listened to Iruma gently fall asleep, feeling the moon light on the ring, wishing he could hold Iruma's hand, or take him back inside.
"He is, Iruma. The nicest hybrid I've ever met."
