《Save The Netherworld, Iruma-Kun!! || A WTDSIK Fanfiction》Chapter 16: Opera knows

Opera leans against the window seal as Sullivan does his papers behind him. Something was wrong, he could feel it. The bad feeling started in his ears and worked it's way through his tail. He shivered slightly. This wasn't good.
"Opera." Sullivan calls, and the cat turns to look at his master. "We have two more Thirteen missing. That makes five now." He says grimly, puttingt the files down on his desk. "Astaroth, Behemolt, Paimon, Amaymon, Belzebuth. Those are the missing."
"Whose left, then?"
"Henri, Baal, Amaryllis, Myself, Belial, and Levi... Thats six out of twelve, damnit!" Sullivan slams his fist on the table, and Opera frowns.
"Destroying your own table will not bring the awnsers that you seak, sir." Opera looks back out the window, seeing Iruma, Asmodeus, and Clara. A smile briefly appears on his face- the friend group that always got in some sort of trouble- before a frown appears as a new kid joins them. Amy Kirio, the kid worked with Baal, Opera could tell because of his scent. "The rest of the thirteen should be on high alert. Henri should be safe, but Amaryllis isnt. I suggest you bring them both here. Baal can handle himself."
"Your right about that." Sullivan growls, and a snap is heard as the pen in his hand snaps in two. "Devi, I broke another pen." Opera sighs. "I'll call Henri and Amaryllis. Maybe they both can teach the children something while I figure something out. I'll also get Belial and Levi on the phone- tell them whats going on." Sullivan frowns. "If this keeps happening, we won't have many thirteen left. Where do you think they're going? Nobodies seen them in weeks now, its to.."
"Suspicious? I agree on that. My personal opinion is that Henri should be well guarded, and Amaryllis too. Paimon and Belzebuth went missing at their own houses- which means that someone is taking them." Sullivan glances over.

"Taking..? You think someone is kidnapping-"
"The signs are all there, sir. We need to figure out whose taking them and why, before one of us goes missing. The DBC won't run if Henri goes missing." Sullivan nods. "We should put him with someone."
"What?"
"Him and his daughter should stay at someones house. Someone random, so whoever's taking the thirteen won't know.. And added protection... Ah!" Opera turns to him with a smile. "Kalego and Balam. Henri could stay at Kalego's house and Balam could stay with them. Balam's strong and can take anyone down in just a second with his vines, Kalego has Cebereus, and Iruma has Bunji." Sullivans quiet. "Sir..?"
"Bunji... I can't belive he found him." Sullivan takes his glasses off, and he was... crying. Opera had never seen Sullivan cry in his entire time of being his servant. "Derkila would have loved Iruma, I-" Sullivan sobs, covering his face, and Opera pauses in shock, not knowing what to do. "I'm sorry, Opera..."
"S-sir.." Opera puts a hand on his back, giving him tissues. "Are you.. okay..?" Sullivan takes a deep, shuddering breath, trying to wipe away the tears that are still falling. "Sir?"
"He would have loved to see his son grow up..." Opera steps back, and Sullivan looks up at him."I should have told you-"
"Thats impossible! Iruma's just 12!" Sullivan shakes his head. "Sir!" Opera's tail and ears are puffed up, his natural reaction as he stares at his master. "Sullivan!"
"He never wanted me to tell anyone, I just.. I didn't.." Opera's eyes widden. "Please don't tell him."
"Tell me right now. Everything."

"Clara, we're headed to the Highschool on a feild trip. We can't run around and play now." They were walking to the highschool, since Iruma couldn't fly. Everyone didn't like that, but Makin replied it was just for excersize. "We'll play later Clara." Iruma sees the bigger school come into veiw, and he smiles.
"We'll be sitting in a couple of classes today, principals orders, so I want you all on your best behaviour." Miss. Makin says, looking over everyone. "If anyone acts up, I'll send you to the garden." Everyone gulps, although Iruma still didnt understand what that was. The garden apparently was some horrible school- Iruma had thought it was just a normal garden.
He continues following his teacher inside the school, looking at all the taller demons- and realizing he was small for his age. Most of them didnt say anything to the younger kids, and others chatted with their siblings. Iruma wished he had a sibling.
"We'll be learning about humans today from Mister Shichiro-" A large smile breaks onto Iruma's face. They were going to be in his dad's classroom today- He had hoped they sat in on it. He's the first kid in the classroom along with Asmodeus and Clara, feeling a large hand mess up his hair.
"Iruma? What are you doing here this early? Oh, Asmodeus, Clara nice to see you two as well."
"We'll be sitting in one of your classes today!!" Clara says, running over to sit in one of the front seats. "Teach usss!!" Balam snaps his fingers.
"Right, forgot about that." He heads back to his lecturn as the other kids walk in, albeit nervously, with Miss. Makin in tow. "Good Morning everyone! It's nice to see you all, glad your coming to sit in with us." The highschoolers file in after that, and most of them give Balam treats. Iruma could tell something was wrong when Balam spends more time talking to one student, and it's confirmed when a vine grabs the student, lifting them up to the ceiling.
"Woah!"
"Did you see that?!"
"He's going to use her in experiments!!" Balam sighs, looking at the student.
"Asura, what has the principal told you about trying to poison me?" The girl, Asurea, huffs, struggling in the vines. "Asura."
"He said not to poison you anymore."
"And what did you just do?"
"Try and poison you..." Balam shakes his head. "Sorry."
"Your staying up there for the rest of the class period young lady." He looks over at the rest of the students, his eyes stopping on Iruma, who smiles. His dad was the best. "Now! Who can tell me the most about humans?"
