《True Ruler》Battra? Hunt?! What is this?!!!

Ever since becoming a beth I could get myself a lot more delicious things at the cafeteria. Never did I ever eat something that delicious before! I loved eating at the cafeteria and usually it would be extremely full but not today.
Me: This is the first time I've seen the entrance to the freshmen's tower this empty.
Alice: Well everyone is hiding.
Clara: Wait! They are playing six feet under without us? How could they not invited us?
All of the sudden a bell could be heard all across the school. It sounded more like a siren then a bell. Hearing it, I thought that something bad happened or that the school would go on full lockdown.
Me: What's that sound?
Clara: Is that the start signal for us to go search them and tag them?
Me: I don't think that this is a game.
Alice: It is not. Today is the day the first years choose to join a battra.
Me: A what?
Alice: A battra.
Me: Still no clue.
Clara: Oh Iruma, how come you are so strong and yet don't know this kind of things?
Me: Homeschooled until now.
Does this make any sense?
Do demons even go to school at a younger age?
Meh!
I hope they buy this lie!
It does sound like Sullivan after all.
Alice: Makes sense seeing how Sullivan is doting on you.
Me: So what is battra now?
Clara: A group activity of some sort. A lot of different kind of people gather together and do what they like.
Alice: They all have either a common skill or an interest most of the time. For example, there are magic creatures battra or research battra. They are way too many of them if you ask me.
Me: Group activity you say. Sounds like fun!
Sounds like a club activity.

I never got to participate in them but I do wanted to try some out.
There was an art club I wanted to give a try...
The bow stuff club sounded as interesting too...
Maybe I should do something with sport?
Magical creatures are cute... but they are scared of me...
Maybe research?
I would most like blow some stuff up.
Alice: Whatever you choose we will be with you!
Me: Huh?
Clara: Think about it! We are a great team and it is soo much fun being around you Iruma!
Me: It is but won't you get bored? Maybe I'll pick an activity you guys don't like.
Clara: Nope! There is no such thing for me!
Alice: I am sure that I'll have some good opportunity to get a lot stronger beside you. Besides it can help raise your rank! You could become a Gimel, no scratch that a Daleth in no time!
Make it a yodh and above that!
Me: I now wanna see the battras! I am getting exited just to think about them.
Alice: Don't worry, I will protect them.
I didn't know why he was saying something like that but all of the sudden the ground started shaking and footsteps of multiple, no hundreds of students could be heard.
Me: Ahm Alice...
Before I could react he picked me up and put me on a cushion on the table.
Ahm
What are you doing?
Why are you picking me up like this?
You know that I could easily burn you!!!
The heck?!
Why...
Me: ...
Clara: This should be comfy.
Well at least it is very comfy.
Kinda like an improvised throne.
I like it.
Me: Thanks...
Alice: You will be able to see them from the entrance well from there.
Although it was just a coincident that we were in the cafeteria since I wanted to try out the new food I could order, this was what people call being at the wright place at the right time. Normally I would think of bad luck but this time I couldn't help but smile and enjoy myself until I could hear a countdown and the ground began shacking even more.

At this point I wasn't so sure anymore if this was a good idea or not. However before I could even rethink my choice of being here, the door flew open and I watched way to many demons run into the cafeteria screaming "ROOKIE HUNT!". If they really way out for a hunt then they should be carful for what they wish for because I am certainly no rookie at anything.
THE FUCK!!!
LIKE HOLY SHIT!
DOES THIS GUY HAVE A NET IN HIS ARM?
IS THAT A ROPE?!
WHAT THE?!
WHAT IS THIS?!!!
Are they out on a real hunt?
No!
Fuck that shit!
Like NO!
I don't need this crazy ness!
The moment I saw two guys flying towards me with a huge net, I decided that I had enough of it.
Me: ALICE....
One of my eyebrow was a little bit twitching because of how annoyed I was. Something told me that this was the reason he insisted of us being in the cafeteria. However he was not out here to actually look for a battra but see how I would wipe their asses.
Looking at the man beside me, I saw that he had the MOST shit eating grin on his face than I have ever seen in my life.
Alice: Go for it!
I had no time tell Alice how fucking wrong he was because of all the people running towards us. The moment I saw the net coming towards me, I stood up and snapped my fingers using my black and blue flames to put the net on fire. After that I made sure to let my bloodthirsty aura of a dragon out and looked at them. I could tell that my eye color only changed to a very deep blue of my dragon but not my pupils.
The moment I looked at everyone they all froze in place. Some of them were running at me and fell down because of how they froze other just began playing dead.
I then jumped of the table and began walking towards them while powering the magic I had running through my veins making lightning bolts around me and also using my flames to make a protective wall for my friends.
Me: Anyone still wanna catch me in a literal kind of way?
I opened my hand and began making a huge black fireball.
They all looked at me and began checking their heads. Everything was fine until the door opened once again and I saw Ameli-san entering the room and walking straight towards me.
Shit!
That's the student council president!
Will he get mad at me because I used such dramatic methods...
WAIT A MINUTE!
I didn't do anything illegal, did I?
No, I don't think so!
I was only defending my dignity and wellbeing!
Why would he come over to me then?
This doesn't make sense at all!
Scold them and don't just come over to me!
You aren't even looking at them!
Come on Ameli-san! I am sure it's illegal to just capture a student and drag them to their battra....
On second thought.. Didn't you try diong something similar with me the other day?
Like you did grab me by my collar...
*Sigh* There is absolutely no hope for the demons anymore!
Welp!
They got the wrong guy to mess with!
