《True Ruler》BETH!

A week of training with Opera passed and I was sure I was ready. I did experimented a lot and in the end we decide that I should only use about 3% max. It was not a problem as to if I would kill them, it was more the problem that the power I use was more than a Yodh demon.
Once day of the tournament started Kalego immediately got us tot eh underground gym and told us that the cannon ball execution would start very soon. The name was still scary.
I can't wait for this exercise to start!
I wonder in which team I would be...
Maybe with Alice and Clara.
I don't want to go against them.
Though I will go up the rankings until I hit Yodh.
I am a dragon after all!
Just being so low down doesn't suit me!
Kalego had a ball in his hands and looked at us. Everyone was ready to win this. It was a chance to go one rank higher after all.
Kalego-sensei: Now then, I'll just confirm that you all know the rules. Listen carefully! I won't bother telling it again.
Every participant will stand on the infield and there is one person on the outfield. Those who are stuck with the ball must go to the outfield.
They will also attack from the outfield until one team is completely defeated. The participant are allowed to use magic on the ball but not directly against an opponent which made it a little bit easier.
Cheating was something that was some kind of legal in this tournament since magic was allowed but no one said anything of a dragon's power. I knew that I was op and there was no denying it. If I wanted to I could take over the world and rule over it.

Kalego-sensei: Rank evolutions will be distributed to the student's rank in each team.
It sounded all good and I knew what to do. Besides the rules, we also had a time limit of 15 minute. If the ball touches the ground and then hit an opponent the opponent would be save. Then if the bal hits someone in the face it would be a foul. Other than that students in one group are also able to save each other by catching the ball after the teammate was hit and the ball still didn't touch the ground.
Once he was done with the explanation and everyone knew the rules, I could feel how hyped everyone was. The energy around them was slowly changing and I knew why. It was a battle and it was in their nature to fight and not give up. They would especially fight if there was such a good rewards for the winning team as well.
Alice: I am sure you trained very much.
Me: I did.
Clara: Let's show everyone else how it is done.
Me: Yeah!
Alice: Everyone who is facing you will be defeated!
Me: Well let's head out.
As we were walking towards out team, it became obvious that Alice was not in my team at all. However Clara was and I got Sabnock and Jazz.
Alice: THE FUCKING HELL!!! I THINK THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE GROUPING!!!!
Kalego-sensei: *Sigh* Stop screaming at me. No. We must strictly distribute strength equally, no objections. Now go and stop bothering me!
Me: Too bad...
Once the game started it quickly became obviously that nearly no one could withstand Alice, Jazz, Clara and Sabnock's power. In a span of 3 minutes everyone was out on Alice's team beside him and on my team, I still had 3 others. All I did until now was dodging a catching the ball passing it to Sabnock or Jazz.

Everything went quite well until Alice started to get real and used his flames to make the ball be covered in it and took both Clara and Alice out very quick.
Now it was only me, him and Jazz.
Jazz: If you catch the next ball pass it to me.
Me: Kay.
And that is what I did. Alice used his flame and tried to get Jazz out of the game. We were both close to each other and so the moment he let go of the ball, Jazz jumped to cath the ball and managed to do so. Of course I helped with lovering the flames with my magic.
From the flames I could tell that he was mad. There was only one reason he could be so angry and the reason was that he was not in my team.
Me: Jazz here!
I threw the ball over to Alice. Jazz also tried to use his ability to put more force into the ball. Too bad for him that Alice caught it and immediately returned turning the energy from Jazz into his own powering his flames.
There was no way Jazz could have coughed it. The ball send him flying towards the wall of the underground gym.
Me: Jazz!
Clara: He's fine! Focus on the game Iruma!
Sabnock: FUCKING WIN THIS GODDAMN GAME!!
Unfortunately for me the ball was passed to the other side. The moment Alice had the ball again, I saw the flames around him increase.
Alice: I will give you the best opponent there will ever be! I will come at you seriously!!!
Me: Hit me with everything you got! I can take it!
I began powering up all my dragon enegery and the air pressure around me began changing. I was ready to catch the ball and throw it back.
I could hear people all around me cheering at me. Some say it is the rematch of the entrance ceremony. It might be but back then I didn't used every single ability I had beside my flames. This was something else.
The moment I saw the ball covered into flames I ran towards it jumped and coughed it midair. My eyes turned into a dragon ones and I had a sharp aim. I used my power to cover the flaming ball with my lightning and the power and send it flying back. One moment it was in my hand and in the next it hit Alice into his stomach and send him flying towards the next wall making it crack too. This all went down while I still haven't landed from my jump. The moment I landed the lightning was still around me and my eyes turned back to my sky blue ones and I stood up looking at him.
Kalego-sensei: The winner is Iruma's team!
Not soon after I stood up straight I was tackled by every one of my team and lifting me up, throwing me into the air. I could see everyone of Alice's team walking over to him and tackling him into a hug.
It took a while until everyone calmed down and Kalego came over to me.
Kalego-sensei: Iruma, catch!
Me: Eh?
Looking at what he just threw me, I found that it was a badge, it was a Rank 2 Beth badge that I earned.
Kalego-sensei: Good job kid!
He then slightly ruffled my hair before throwing everyone else their badge and leave.
Once I was home I was greeted with a fest and celebrated my wing with Sullivan and Opera.
