Being 4 years old is an adventure for most kids. As they grow older; they see the whole world in a different view and look up to most adults to guide them.
However, for Nadwe; there were most moments where this wasn't the case. It wasn't Laff's fault, of course as he had actually tried to shelter Nadwe from these experiences. For example; fighting and arguing. Laff and Wictoria never really live together so he doesn't have to deal with those two arguing about petty little things and when Uncle Shroobz came over he got into loud debates with strange uncle Syce.
But it was never really anyone's fault...
That is the same idea put into motion at this moment as the young Dhampir was curled up in bed. Nadwe covered both of his ears with his pillow as he tried to muffle the sounds of screaming and yelling in the other room.
Joocie came over, seeking refuge from Tbh as the mentioned CrabMan had followed behind and the two have been screaming at each other as Laff tried to act as the middle man. Meme had came over and was hysterical himself as Socks and Dino tried to calm everyone down.
Nadwe teared up and hiccupped, covering his face as he tried to block out the noise. He didn't even register the door being opened as Oompa walked over.
"Hey, there kiddo.." He sat down on the edge of the bed as Nadwe looked up at him with teary eyes. "W-When will the yelling stop...?" Oompa looked a little nervous about that and looked to the side "Eh, soon, I'm sure it'll be soon."
"Please, everyone!! Can't we please-!?"
A glass shattering was heard as the yelling increased in volume and intensity; causing Nadwe to whine and sink back into his pillow, shaking. Oompa looked around before taking out his phone and a pair of headphones "Uhh, here, listen to some music and try to relax." He put the headphones in Nadwe's ears and turned on his phone "Just...stay here and relax." He played a playlist titled "Happy Thoughts" before getting up and walking out to try and settle the fighting.

Nadwe whimpered and curled up on his side, looking at the phone as he started cycling through the songs, trying to find one that will make him relax. He then stumbled upon one with a gentle piano playing as he stopped.
"Every day, I imagine a future where I can be with you."
Nadwe's eyes widened slightly as he glanced down at the phone to see the title.
"In my hand, is a pen that will write a poem of me and you.
The ink flows into a dark puddle
Just move your hand - write the way into his heart!
But in this world of infinite choices,
What will it take to find that special day? (x2)"

She sounded so...pretty.
Nadwe laid on his side, looking at Oompa's phone as the song continued to play. He slowly felt himself relax as the fighting outside of his room became quieter and quieter. He felt engulfed in a warm embrace as he listened to this song with soft acoustics and the piano, and the enchantress who sung this song.
"Is it love if I take you, or is it love if I set you free?"
Nadwe smiled warmly as he held the phone close to his chest, slowly starting to become sleepy from feeling so tranquil and relaxed.
"If I can't hear the sound of your heartbeat
What do you call love in your reality?"
And like that...the fighting went silent. Replaced with nothing but the piano and the last few notes of the song as Nadwe slowly felt himself fall asleep, holding onto the phone tightly as he only thought about one thing before falling into slumber.
"And in your reality, if I don't know how to love you
I'll leave you be"
