Luka P.O.V
"I knew it! I fucking knew it!" Bunch yelled, looking back and forth between Zophisa and me. He was tied to his office chair with his hands behind his back and ankles bound together. We had men outside the door and surrounding the house just in case.
"That's right Alex, you figured it out," Zophisa taunted as she circled his chair.
"And honestly I'm suprised. From what I know about you, you kind of stupid."
"You ignorant bi-" he was cut off by Zophisa's fist colliding with his face.
"I did NOT give you permission to talk!" She yelled as she grabbed his hair and forced him to look at her. "You really fucked up when you sold that story to the press." She let his hair go and reached into the pocket of her leather jacket, pulling out a pack of cigarettes.
"So what, you two are going to kill me now?" He asked, his voice shaking.
"You fucking wish," Zophisa mumbled with the cigarette dancing between her lips. I pulled my phone from my back pocket as she lit her cigarette.
"Alexandra, Micha, Mary, Elizabeth, and Leonardo," I said aloud as I read the list on my phone, "Your siblings, parents, and child."
"You managed to piss us off, which was your first mistake," Zophisa said, blowing smoke into the air.
"Instead of killing you, we're going to pick someone you love off one by one until we feel satisfied," I said, walking towards him.
"You wouldn't," he dared.
"We already did," I said.
"You're bluffing," he said, his eyes darting back and forth between me and Zophisa. Neither of us responded but the silence was soon cut short by the office phone ringing.
"Let's find out," Zophisa said, walking behind his desk to the phone. I grabbed the back of his chair and turned it so he was facing her.
She pressed the speaker button on the phone. "Say hello," she mouthed to him. He didn't speak so I raised my gun to his head and cocked it back.

"H-hello," he stuttered.
"Alexander, it's mum and dad. They were in a horrible collision. They've died Alexander," the woman wept on the phone. Zophisa pouted mockingly as tears slid down Alexander's face.
"Say goodbye," Zophisa mothed, her finger hovering above the phone.
"I have to go," Alexander said, lowly, "I lo-" he was cut off by a dail tone.
"You took too long," Zophisa whispered.
"Can you just kill me?" Alexander pleaded hysterically.
"No," I said, turning his chair back towards me.
"Luka, you know me! Why are you doing this?" He screamed.
"You know me as well Alexander. Why would you think I would allow you to disrespect my wife?" I asked.
"She is not your wife! Don't you see what she is doing to you man?" He stressed. I rolled my eyes before lifting my gun and hitting him in the face with it.
"Shut up," I said through gritted teeth. I crouched down so we were eye to eye.
"You disrespectful little midget, you better watch how you speak of my wife. I like to think of myself as a lenient man but you've somehow managed to piss me off." I stood back up and adjusted the black leather gloves on my hand. I raised my gun and shot him in the shoulder.
"Oh my goodness, shut up," Zophisa said, holding her temple as he shouted in pain.
"Please please please," Alexander pleaded as he sobbed uncontrollably.
"Please what?" I asked cupping my ear with my hand.
"Just kill me!" He screamed.
"I don't really like being told what to do," I said with a shrug.
"You coward, you couldn't kill me if you wanted to!" He taunted. I raised my gun and shot him in the kneecap.
"It's a good thing I don't want to," I said with a smirk, "now apologize to my wife."
"I'm sorry," He sobbed.
"For?" I asked.
"Disrespecting you. Please have mercy," He pleaded.
"I don't know the meaning of the word," I said with a shrug, "Now tell us why you really did what you did."

"Because she is ruining you!" He yelled toward Zophisa.
"Oh you better lower your damn voice," She said, lifting her gun to his face.
"Shoot me," he said through clenched teeth.
"Okay," Zophisa shrugged. She shot the gun and a bullet went into his left arm.
All of the shooting and yelling was giving me a headache and slowly starting to annoy me. I spun Alexander's chair around so he was facing me. I grabbed his hair and forced him to look at me. "This entire interaction is starting to piss me off. Tell us what we want to know before I start to get angry. And trust me, that is not something you want to see," I warned.
"I was angry when your wife fired me. A few days later a man came to me in a pub and asked if I was your business associate. I told him I used to be until your bitch of a wife fired me that's when he offered me ten thousand dollars to get even. He showed me pictures of a woman sitting in frint of a house surrounded by men wearing red scarves and throwing up gang signs. He said the woman was Zophisa and all I had to do was take the pictured to the prees and tell them the marriage was a sham, so I did," he explained. Zophisa had slowly walked around the desk and sat on the saide closest to Alexander's chair. In one swift motion, she reached out and turned his chair towards her and stared at him.
A gun went off and Alexander cried out in pain, Zophisa had shot him in the stomach. "That's for calling me a bitch," She said, "Now, what did the man look like?"
"He was bald with a lot of tattoos, wearing a suit, very thick Spanish accent" he described. I watched as sweat started to form on his face and he started to breathe heavily.
"Do you think it was Diablo?" she asked me.
"Or one of his men," I answered, she just nodded in resonse.
"I think I'm going to pass out," Alexander announced.
"You're dying," Zophisa told him.
"W-what?" he panicked. "I told you everything you wanted to know."
"You begged us to kill you," Zophisa said, emotionless.
"I have a family," Alexander cried.
"We could kill them too if you'd like," She said, picking up the phone.
"No!" He yelled, bood soon started to spill out of his mouth and he started to cough uncontrollably. Zophisa just shrugged and put the phone down.
"I thnk we are done here amore," I said to Zophisa, reaching my gloved hand out towards hers. She smiled softly before getting down from the desk and grabbing my hand. I led her out of the door, ignoring Alexander's cries for help.
Once we made it outside I stopped in front of one of the gaurds. "Torch the place," I told him.
"Yes sir," he said with a slight nod. I noded back and walked to the truck that was parked in place of thr car we arrived in. I opened the passenger dor for Zophisa and she slid in. When I got in the car Zophisa grabbed my face and smashed her lips into mine.
"What was that for?" I asked with a chuckle once we parted.
"That was the sexiest thing I seen in a long time," She said, caressing my cheek with her thumb. I just smirked and leaned in for another passionate kiss.
"Violence turns you on? Shocker," I joked as my thumb caressed the teardrop tattoos under her right eye.
"Very funny, let's go I have to call my brothers when we get home," she said with a chuckle.
"We can't drive off until-," I was cut off my the sound of flames errupting, "That happens." We both chuckled as I drove away from the house.

Demons Don't Lie
Algier, average human and recent convict, has committed the gravest sin of all: demon slaying. His fate? To participate in the Culling, a battle-royale style tournament that’s televised live to the world, where all the worst criminals go to die. As with all tournaments, a prize is on the line. If Algier survives, he can have any wish granted by the Marquises, the new rulers of Earth following the demons’ invasion. However, there’s little hope for survival in a tournament designed to have demons do the work of the executioner, especially for a human. Demons are stronger, faster, wiser, and more talented than the average human, and, despite his crime, Algier is no demon hunter. Mentally defeated before the tournament even begins, Algier is torn between becoming another demon’s points and fighting on in his dead mother’s legacy. But should he choose to fight, there is one advantage that Algier has that can tip the odds in his favour: Demons don’t lie, but humans can. How to read this story Demons Don't Lie is written from the perspective of an unreliable (lying) narrator. There are many inconsistencies within the story which are placed there intentionally. It's up to the reader to decide what is the truth and what is the lie. Promotion Full quality cover image

For You, I Would Forsake The World
This is the story of a person from a desolate and bleak future who dies and reincarnates into a fantasy world of swords and magic and finds meaning in his meaningless existence. -- Notes --- This story is told from multiple povs, I think I've made it obvious when the pov change has happened.- This site doesn't really have a specific tag for it so I'll add it in the synopsis, the romance in this story is incest.- I do all the writing and proofreading, so if you see some mistakes I've missed please point them out.- The beginning is more world-building and setting up the plot and mechanics so don't expect too much action in the first ark.
