Around 10am is when we decided the family meeting is going to happen as Demetri arrived at 9:30 and we wanted to all see Gaia's reaction.

It's now 9:45am, Edward left for Bella half an hour ago so hopefully (not so hopefully) they should be here soon. I'm just running down the stairs when I hear a car pull up "Demetri, be careful around the human. She.....doesn't like new people. She's very attached let's say." I pat the Volturi guard on the shoulder before taking my place behind Rose and embrace her. I lean to her ear and whisper "this is going to be a big shit show."

I can feel Rose laugh as she bites her lip to keep the sound from escaping, all she does is nod her head in agreement. I look at Jasper and Alice and they also nod their heads which I'm thankful for as we all know who will win in the end. Bella and Edward walk in, as always Bella is clinging to Edward's arm like a toddler and Edward looks more put off than usual.

"Ok we are waiting for fifteen minutes as Gaia isn't here yet. I don't actually know where she goes, probably surrounding herself with the animals. Don't blame her." Carlisle walks in speaking but mutters the last sentence so only the vampires in the room can hear it. Demetri stands in the corner arms crossed assessing everyone. If looks could kill Bella would be dead.

"Wait...why are we waiting for that Volturi murderer? She isn't part of this family so we should just start without her!" Bella screeches which makes all of us wince in pain. Demetri now decides to make his presence known by speeding directly in front of her. I can't help the laugh that booms out of me, it's hilarious that Bella is trying to be intimidating to Demetri. Bella stands at roughly 5ft4 while Demetri towers over her at 6ft3. "Call the princess a murderer again and I'll murder you. I don't care that you are meant to turn and join my coven. You disrespect the princess and the kings would reward me for killing you. Is that clear?" He asks in a low voice that shows why he is on the elite guard. When Bella just gulps and stares wide eye at him, Demetri leans closer to her and raises his voice "I asked. Is. That. Clear?" She nods and let's out a whimper that slightly sounds like a yes.

Demetri nods and walks back to my side since his presence is now known, no point in hiding. Bella is cowering next to Edward who is staring at Demetri. Edward looks scared but not for Bella, he's scared how the kings would react to how Gaia is treated. With that thought, Edward looks at me and slightly nods telling me I'm right.

At 10am, we hear a soft hum coming from the stairs as we hear footsteps. My siblings and myself can't help the small smile on our faces as we hear that lovely sound. "Good morning everyone. Good morning Demetri and Bella." She adds Bella as an after thought. We all watch her as she skips to the kitchen making sure her skirt doesn't rise too much. Looking at her outfit, Alice squeals in approval.

All of a sudden she stops and turns around to face us. "Good morning....Demetri." She says slowly trying to process he's here. Seconds later, she is squealing Demetri's name and running into his arms wrapping around him like a koala cub. "Oh my goodness! You're here. You're here!!! Wait...why are you here?" Gaia asks with a cute small frown on her features still with her legs wrapped around his torso and hands on his shoulders.

"Well if your highness would stop being a koala I would like to discuss it with the whole family. Hence the family meeting λιακάδα" Demetri's demeanour turns to Volturi guard after that even though he has a small smile on his face. With a slight hmph, Gaia unwraps herself and situated herself on the couch. (λιακάδα - sunshine)

Everyone sits while Demetri stands in the middle of the room looking at everyone. "So, multiple things so you better all be quiet or I'll rip limbs off. Understood?" Everyone nods while Bella whimpers which Gaia responds to with a harsh glare I didn't even know she could muster.

"The kings have given me a letter they wish for me to read directed to Bella." With that he pulls out a wax sealed letter and opens it.

Dear Bella,

We regret to inform you that destroying a structure that is for the respect of royalty is a criminal offence in the vampire community. While you are not yet a vampire, we cannot hold your trial, so that being said. When you turn and join the Volturi coven, the first order of business is to hold your trial.

We do not disrespect the people that helped build the community we have today. Especially, when that vampire is no longer with us and can't do anything to you in return. Now, regarding respecting royalty, you better get it into your head that you cannot go around insulting the coven or it's members. We have heard about some things you have said pertaining the princess behind her back.

Noble people speak their opinions and thoughts directly to a person, weak willed speak behind their back. You are a weak willed person Bella Swan. If we hear one more instance of you disrespecting Gaia Volturi or Demetri Volturi from the point of hearing this letter we will be paying you a visit.

We also have a new member in our coven, this relates to you as Sasha can destroy mental shields. Beware Bella Swan. Your thoughts will be ours' and Edward's if you step out of line. Everything you have been hiding will come to light. Stay in your respectful place and there will be no harm.

After Demetri finishes the letter, we all turn to Bella who is paler than us which is hard to come by. "Do you understand your place now Bella? You cannot go around disrespecting us without consequences. I know your father Charles Swan, is the Chief of Police so your crimes that you commit weekly don't go punished. We are not your father. You have no significance to our lives so we can rid ourselves of you." Demetri's voice is cold and frightening. Bella nods and bows her head in submission but I can tell it's not real. I look to Jasper and gesture my head to Bella.

"I would get rid of the resentment and hatred along with jealousy and envy if you are to continue living whether that be as human or vampire." Jasper sounds like he would when he was in the war, looking over I see it's actually Major who is speaking. Gaia walks over and hugs his torso.

"Thank you Major for sticking up for myself and my coven. It means a lot to this little old princess." She says giggling to try and lighten the mood. We all see Major slowly slip back and Jasper take control hugging her back and kissing the top of her head. "Now Demi. Back to the second point please." She squeals and takes her place again.

He just laughs and shakes his head "The second order of business is, I will be staying here with the princess until I return to Volterra with Bella. The Kings don't like how Bella is treating her and they know Gaia can look after herself. But due to....certain circumstances she isn't at her best and they don't blame her at all." Demetri gives her a small sad smile while taking a quick glance at Edward. "I will be staying in her room so there will be no need for another room set up. I don't have half as many clothes as her highness so I'll be ok. Now, if you all don't mind, I have one more letter to read to you from the Kings." We all nod and he pulls out a second letter.

Dearest flower,

We are incredibly proud of you for staying in a place that has caused such pain. It is a test from fate that you stay in that situation and we are all proud of you my darling daughter. Stay strong, don't let heartache taint such an aura and don't let jealous people dictate your actions.

You are a princess with a heart of gold. Your mothers would be so proud of the woman you are, but I ask don't go around messing with boys while your mate is....occupied. Gaia, my little princess, my sun, you are so much more than a mans judgement. He is blind to the beauty that is in front of him. Be yourself and don't lose yourself. Don't change yourself for no one.

We are only a call or letter away my dear, don't distance yourself as that will cause more pain. I have seen more yellow butterflies around Didyme's area since you left. I think she is telling me to be strong just like I am for you. She knows how hard it is for me to part with you as you are and will always be my life. I cannot wait to hear of your adventures whether it be a call, letter or in person you dictate them to me.

Your uncles and aunts would like me to say they love you and wish you were here. Demetri, I know you're reading this, tell Gaia about the prank war you held in her honour. Maybe tell Emmett about it too.

Gaia has tears in her eyes as she stands and hugs Demetri tightly wrapping herself around him again. "I missed you so much Dem. I miss them too." She mutters. He nods his head to us and slowly carries her away to their room. Edward looks ready to kill "why does Demetri get to room with her?! Surely, they should be in separate rooms if she has a mate?"

We all scoff and turn away from him, "Why do you care if they are? You have your girlfriend next to you? I'm right here Edward. Forget about her." Bella's voice draws our attention back to them and she pulls him out of the room.
