Looking at Gaia once we are in our shared room, I can't help but see how broken she truly is behind her facade. "Oh princess. He really has done some damage huh?" I ask as I sit next to her and pull her into my lap wrapping my arms tightly around her. All she can do is nod while dry sobbing which breaks my heart.

"Want to hear about the prank war I held in your honour? It was absolutely the best thing I've ever done. Apart from the pranks with you. Some people may not say that though." I speak to her softly with a mischievous smirk plastered on my face which makes her giggle.

Flashback

I'm running as fast as I can away from a pink glittered covered Santiago. "DEMETRI! Get back here! Pink isn't my colour! And glitter will be found in places glitter shouldn't be!" Santiago's voice boomed throughout the castle walls.

All the guards I pass just look at me and laugh while shaking their head. I dash into the throne room and stand next to Jane and Alec so he can't do anything, suddenly the throne room doors bang open. At the threshold, a glittery Santiago is there with a face that could kill. Everyone, including the kings burst out laughing.

"And here I thought the cups of water in Afton's room was bad." Caius' voice is low but you can hear the amusement to it. I look at Santiago then Caius and barely nod my head to him.

"That has to be my favourite one. Other than, Felix running and dumping water with rose petals on people's heads. He done that in your honour. We all tried to do things that remind us of you, so mine was for your sparkling aura that lights up a room. Alec and Jane followed people and made random noises when they step to confuse them. That's because you have a playful heart. The best one, and I'm not annoyed I wasn't the best, is Caius. He pranked Aro! He dressed at Sulpicia and sat with his back to him on the throne then when Aro was about to lean and kiss him, he turned and screamed Boo. Oh my life!" I burst out laughing before I could even finish telling her the story. I can hear your laughing beside me so I'm glad I can cheer her up.

"Aro screamed. Not a manly scream either. All the guards within a 300 metre radius, all ran in to see Caius rolling on the floor laughing, a disturbed Aro who was pacing and Marcus. Oh Marcus was taking pictures! I think he captured the moment Aro screamed. Oh it was precious. We crowned Caius the prank war king with a flower crown also in your honour." I kiss Gaia on top of her head and hold her close.

"I've missed you sister." I say quietly, in response I hear a quiet "I've missed you too Dem." Slowly rocking us side to side, I just sit and hum to her like we used to when she had a breakdown. "What have you been doing? I know you haven't stayed cooped up in this room since all this happened."

Gaia just looks at me with a playful gleam to her eyes before jumping off of my lap and head to the window. I stare wide-eyed at her when she jumps out and quickly follow her. "A little warning please?! If I could have a heart attack I would've by now." I playfully scold her before running with her deeper into the forest.

Gaia stops and looks around before plopping onto the forest floor with little to no grace. I follow her actions and just stare at her. Hearing her whistle makes me look around then all of a sudden, a bunny is bouncing to her and a fawn is running like it can't keep itself up. I can't help the sound of cuteness leave my lips.

"Now please tell me princess, you're going to introduce me right? These two must've been some good friends." I look at the two animals with adoration present in my eyes. "This adorable fluff ball is Grace. She likes to think she's older than me but that's hard since you know how old I am." Gaia says with a cheeky wink while cuddling the bunny. "This sweetheart is Isa. He isn't as high and mighty as fluff but he likes cuddles." I stretch my hand out for the fawn Isa to get my scent.

"I'm not gonna hurt you little one. I help Gaia with the animals back at the castle and not just because I'm her personal guard. I love animals probably why I'm a tracker like an animal." I laugh thinking how true that truly is. Isa slowly walks to me and lays on my lap. Running my hand over his back is so therapeutic. "Now spill the beans sis. You haven't just been with a bunny and a fawn."

"No I haven't. I met the shifters from La Push. Now before you start a wolf hunt, they are actually amazing. They have a treaty with the Cullens but since the Alpha, Gamma and Elders love me, I'm actually allowed on the La Push side. I haven't yet. I haven't met the full pack so I don't want any harm to me or them. The Alpha is like a big brother figure I wouldn't be surprised if that was the bond. Then there's Paul. Oh Paul! He's amazing. You'll love him. He is a prankster too, loves cuddles, actually lets me put flowers in his hair! He's a macho type man and lets me put flowers in his hair and his wolf's fur. A wolf with a flower crown is the best thing I've ever seen. Maybe tomorrow we can meet him? I was meant to anyway so you could tag along?" Gaia's soft voice when she talks about her new friends warms my heart but also breaks it. This was meant to be Edward.

Edward was meant to make her feel like this. Instead of spending quality time with her true mate, she is creating sibling bonds. I'm not surprised but I am worried. That boy is going to slowly kill her with the little affection he has given her and is giving her. "How is Edward in all of this?" Her face drops at his name and I silently curse myself but I need to know.

"One night at the beginning, we spent together. That was the night I also met Grace and Isa. After that night, we don't really speak. He is either at Bella's or Bella is at the Cullens. Carlisle, bless his soul, has to just hold me sometimes because of Edward cuddling up to Bella and it hurts. It physically hurts. Jasper tries to calm me or distract me with the help of Emmett. Those two you'll get along with. Rose and Alice try to get me to go shopping but I can't. I can't leave, it would solidify I'm not wanted so while they're at school, I put flowers in vases or tidy. They don't know this." She lets out a dry laugh before laying back on the woodland floor.

"We will fix this flower. We have to. I can't handle you in pain." I vow to her before laying right next to her and cuddling up for hours.

After Gaia and Demetri leave the room, I can't help the slight sliver of jealousy at the fact he is holding her. My face contorts in confusion. Why am I jealous of her being held by someone else?
