《My Blind Princess》Chapter 8

The trip back home felt way shorter than the trip to the Rogue pack. Eva continued to lead her team. Only now her team had grown double in size thanks to the warriors from the rogue pack.
Eva couldn't figure out what the play was. Did the King really want to attack each pack with such little warriors? It didn't make sense. The King should know that he would lose. It would have been better to attack one pack at a time. Starting with the strongest.
As Eva thought about what the Kingdom's ultimate plan was the group finally arrived at the Green Forest Pack. Eva met up with Alana who had stayed behind with some warriors to protect the elders and the children along with their mothers who were human.
"Any news?" Alana questioned with worry as she ran her eyes over Eva to check for any injuries.
"The Kingdom really underestimates the Rogue Pack" Eva chuckled.
Eva quickly started to order the warriors. Separating them into groups and instructing them to what pack they should head to help out.
"I'll be heading to the Red Moon Pack to help out. Any news from Alpha Vasiliev?"
"So far they were able to help out. They got the children and elders to safety. Father is fighting so I can't really hold conversations with him."
Eva simply nodded and headed off to the Red Moon Pack with her same group of warriors.
"Be careful!" Alana yelled after her as she watched Eva leave.
Eva could sense something bad was going to happen but she couldn't quite place her finger on it.
Something deep in her mind knew that something bad was going to happen. Eva kept her guard up as they grew closer and closer to the Red Moon Pack.
Once they were in the Red Moon territory Eva tensed up at the smell of blood.
"Spread out and help out whoever you can!" Eva commanded as she let the sounds of battle guide her.
She wanted nothing more than to help out. She wanted to prove that although she was blind she was not any different from anyone else.
As she drew closer and closer to the battle she could hear the growls and snarls of the wolves. The tearing of flesh and the cries of injured wolves. The sounds overwhelmed her and she found herself slowing down just to be able to take it all in.

One cry, in particular, made the demon monster inside her awaken. The cries of her father.
She had never in her life heard her father cry out in his wolf form. He was strong not just for a Beta. He was Alpha strong. He could lead a pack if he really wanted to but his loyalty to Alpha Vasiliev was stronger than his desire to run a pack.
Eva let the monster inside of her lose when another cry from her father reached her ears.
She let her senses take over and gave into the beast. This was the first time she had ever felt such a strong emotion. She was scared, worried, angry, but most of all desperate.
Desperate to find out if her father was injured. Desperate to make the wolf pay for what he or she had done to her father.
As the beast took over Eva, her eyes turned bloodshot red. The fangs in her mouth elongated and the nails on her fingers grew.
She had never once lost her cool as she had now. She was a different person. A different creature, much more dangerous and out for blood.
Eva attacked the wolves fighting in front of her. She could feel the blood of one drip down her throat. That only fueled the beast. As she relied on her hearing and sense of smell to detect closer enemies, Eva couldn't help but feel worried. Worried for her father and worried at the fact that she had absolutely no control over what she did. The last thing Eva wanted to do was injure an ally.
After the death of more than four wolves, the Kingdom warriors noticed the bloodthirsty vampire. Some were astonished at the fact that the Vampire had morphed into some kind of demon. Many wolves retreated. Other focused their fighting just on this single female vampire.
One wolf jumped with his jaw open wide and aimed straight for Eva's head. She was standing still and made no motion to move. As he drew closer she quickly turned and grabbed him but the mouth. She pulled his mouth open wider and wider until ultimately his jaw was ripped off.
The wolf whined for backup but it was short lived when the vampire sank her fangs into his neck. She drank at him like a juice pack.

While Eva was distracted the wolf that was previously fighting Beta Stone ran towards her. Grabbing Eva by the leg and flinging her off of his Comrade. He sniffed his friend but he was gone. The wolf turned and growled at the vampire. Beta Stone was too injured to join the fight and Warrior Suka knew it.
His blood ran cold when she stared directly at him and smiled sinisterly. She licked her lips and jumped towards him. Her fangs already out to suck his blood as well. He jumped away from her and turned to run but was quickly reminded on just how fast vampires were. Before he could even take off Eva was standing in front of him with her once again sinister smile.
Warrior Suka growled in warning but the beast didn't even flinch. She looked as if she was playing with her food. It was then he decided that if he wanted to make it out alive he had to fight. The vampire might have been faster but he was stronger. He had effectively injured Beta Stone and he was rumored to be strong enough to challenge and Alpha.
He jumped forward and bit onto her arm. What surprised him was that Eva didn't even attempt to dodge. As his teeth sank into her arm and he heard the crunch of her bone he felt a small amount of confidence he could win this fight.
All of that quickly faded when the vampire sunk her teeth into his flesh. He let go of her arm and quickly bucked to get her off of him. She had intentionally let him attack just so she could get closer to drink his blood.
Fear ran through his veins as he could feel the two cold punctures in his neck. He ran and slammed himself against a tree hoping she would let go but she didn't.
She was like a leech who had to be ripped off at this point. As he continued to run and jump and do everything he could to get this demonic beast from hell off of him he noticed that he grew sluggish from the loss of blood.
His vision began to blur and soon he joined his comrade in the afterlife.
Beta Stone watched as his daughter took down a wolf who had almost killed him. A part of him was proud of his daughter and another part was worried for her safety, but a big part of him was slightly unsure of what was going through her mind. Right now his shy and quiet daughter was gone and in her place was a beast with a mission.
As Eva successfully finished off the other wolf. She could feel someone getting closer. Although this person held no ill will towards her she still had to strike just to be sure. As she attempted to attack something in her held her back.
"Calm down Eva, I'm okay. Your old man still has some fight left in him." Antonio jokes as he looked at his daughter waringly.
The Beast in Eva quickly let go of the reins and soon Eva was back in control. She lunges at her father and wrapped her arms around his neck.
Antonio smiled and pulled his daughter closer. She was back.
The war in the Red Moon Pack has finally ended and much of that was thanks to Eva and the warriors that accompanied her. Although she doesn't exactly remember much of what happened she was still glad she helped out.
The sun was starting to peek through the horizon and Antonio slowly let go of Eva.
"Sweetheart, I need you to go back to our pack. Your mother must be worried sick."
"When will you be heading back?"
Antonio didn't miss the worried tone in her question. He simply smiled and kissed her forehead.
"As soon as we help clean up I will be back. Promise me you'll keep your mother company until then."
Eva simply nodded and hugged her father one more time before heading back home with her troops.
She was glad this was all over and she could safely go home to her family. She had to tell Alana what happened to her. Something had definitely taken over her. Eva still wasn't sure what but she had to find out. She never wanted to lose control like that again.
