|4 Months Later|
The snores from Alana filled the room. Eva sat up in her bed. The pads of her fingers glided across the page of the book. One upside to being blind and reading a book? She didn't need light to read. Eva could read in the dark until her heart's content.
Aside from Alana's slight snores and the thumping hearts from everyone inside the PackHouse. The night was actually quite serene.
Eva could hear the leaves moving in the wind outside. It was very relaxing. These past four months had been a bit tough on Eva. Often times she would find herself thinking about her mate. She wondered if he was okay or if he had eaten. Eva didn't understand why she cared about him. He was awful to her and the last time she saw him was 6 months ago.
She figured it was the mate bond that had her worried about Prince Cole. She tried her best to keep herself occupied with small menial tasks. Sometimes she would fold her clothes or read a book she had already read.
As long as she was busy, Eva was able to chain up that sadness in her.
A rustle outside made Eva sit up in an alert. She had gotten carried away thinking about Martin that she only now heard the sound of running footsteps. Placing the book aside she put all of her attention in her hearing. Focusing better Eva was able to hear a male wolf running towards the entrance of the PackHouse. His heart was racing much faster than normal. He was scared.
Eva quickly got out of bed and made her way towards the bedroom door.
"Who is it, Eva?" Alana questioned as she rubbed the sleep from her eyes.
"I'm not sure but he's scared. Call Alpha Vasiliev. Something is wrong." Eva murmured as she ran out of the room.
When Eva put her mind to it she was able to run through the Packhouse without bumping into anything.
As she made her way to the front door a large banging could be heard.
"Alpha Vasiliev! Alpha Vasiliev! Help! The Royal Kingdom is attacking the Blood River Pack!" The man yelled through the door.

He was desperate making Eva anxious. She was sure that Everyone in the Packhouse had heard him. They were all awake by now.
Eva quickly flung the door open when she got to it and let the man in.
"Where is Alpha Vasiliev?" The man questioned in haste.
"He's coming, we are gathering some warriors to send to The Blood River Pack," Alana spoke out as she entered the foyer.
"Eva, Beta Stone wants you to stay behind," Alana said in a serious tone.
It was obvious that she was in a soon-to-be-Alpha mode.
"As soon-to-be-Beta I refuse. Send me with the first round of warriors" Eva demanded.
This was her damn fight too. She deserved to at least fight in combat.
"Eva, you will stay behind and coordinate the second group of warriors to back up the Red Moon Pack, a Third group to head to the Rogue Pack, and the last group to head to the Snowflower Pack. Just in case they get attacked as well." Alexandrov spoke as he walked into the parlor.
"Yes Alpha"
As much as Eva wanted to fight she knew that what the Alpha had said could be very true. She wouldn't put it past the Kingdom to only attack one pack in the middle of the night.
Eva could hear the warriors gathering outside. Everyone had sprung into action. Eva started to think of a plan. She had to make the warrior groups small enough for them to go undetected but strong enough to actually help out the packs.
Eva also had to make sure enough warriors stayed behind to protect everyone in the Green Forest Pack.
Alexandrov and 10 men headed out to help the Blood River Pack. They ran at full speed to make sure they could arrive in time to actually do some help.
When Eva started to form the second group of warriors she assigned Beta Antonio to lead them. The 6 of them would be heading to the Red Moon Pack to back up Alpha Hunter in case he was attacked by the Kingdom as well.
When the second group left. Eva started to form the next group. This time she would lead them to the Rogue pack. A total of 5 warriors were to head out with her. Before Eva could leave she formed the last group of 6 warriors and ordered them to head out to the Snowflower Pack.

Eva made Alana stay with the pack to make sure she got all of the children and elderly to the bunkers. There would also be a large number of warriors behind to protect the property. If anything happened to Alpha Vasiliev Alana was to stay behind and take over the pack. They had practiced this many times. By now Alana knew exactly what needed to be done.
As Eva headed out with her squad she let her primal instincts kick in. Even without her eyesight, Eva could feel the ground beneath her feet. The leaves that swayed above her head and the warmth that each tree truck emitted as she swished by them.
The pounding of paws behind her made her aware that she was going the right way. South of their pack lied The Rouge Pack Territory. It was only a couple of miles and by their speed, they would make it there in about 20 minutes.
When the familiar scent hit Eva she knew she was close. The mixture of scents instead of just one made the scent that much more potent.
Eva continued to run with her squad of warriors following. So far there was no noise. Everything seemed quite. Far too quiet if you asked Eva. To her, something was definitely off.
It wasn't until they were almost at the border when the scent hit her. Fire.
Eva picked up speed and commanded her squad to do the same.
When they finally reached the Packhouse Eva could smell the fire and feel the heat.
"Ah, Ms. Stone, Welcome" Alpha Kaelynn smiled as she looked at Eva with her squad of warriors.
The warriors behind Eva watched as the Packhouse burned to the ground. Confusion filled them as they looked around to see all of the pack members excitedly watching the pack house burn.
"What is going on? Is anyone hurt?" Eva questioned as she slowly walked towards Alpha Kaelynn with her hands out.
Alpha Kaelynn smiled and grabbed onto Eva's hands.
"We are all fine. Luckily since the Kingdom doesn't acknowledge that we are an actual Pack they aren't aware of the witches and Demon I have in my pack" Kaelynn smiled smugly.
"Sasha was able to place the Pack under a protection spell. As soon as someone crossed the barrier we all got into action."
"Then, what about the fire?"
"We burned down the Pack House. Since we figured the smoke would signal that we have lost. A simple misdirect. Either way, we were going to rebuild the house anyway. There's not enough room to accommodate everyone." Alpha Kaelynn explained.
"I guess you have everything under control here. Then my squad and I will head back. We need to help the others."
Alpha Kaelynn smiled and slightly tighten her grip on Eva's hands.
"Take some of my warriors. The kingdom only sent a few soldiers. Unfortunately, That wasn't enough to quench the bloodthirst of many of my warriors. I'm sure they would be more than glad to help out. Send word that I will assist the Snowflower pack. If you have any warriors headed there send them back. We can help them."
Eva smiled at Alpha Kaelynn and simply nodded her head.
"Very well, I will let Alana know not to send anyone to the Snowflower pack. I appreciate the help. How many soldiers can you spare?"
"All of them, Luckily my witches can hold down the fort if needed. With their spells, they can protect the remaining people."
"Okay, then can I take 20 men? I will have them send reinforcements to the Blood River Pack. Apparently, they were the first ones to get attacked."
"Leo! Michaelangelo!" Alpha Knight screamed out.
"Alpha" Both men replied as they ran towards Alpha Knight.
"Form a squad of 9 men each and head out with Eva to her pack. From there she will give you orders. Follow them to the letter. Am I understood?"
"Yes Alpha"
"Yes Alpha"
Both men scurried off in excitement. Since the protection spell had killed off many of the kingdom's soldiers, the Rogue pack didn't get to see much action. They were excited to help out the other packs. Many of the men wanted to show off their skills in battle. Others just wanted to unleash their wolves and go crazy.
They were after all part of the rogue pack. They had a reputation to uphold.
