With my first full day back in Everose I had to oversee a bunch of work going on at Sapphire with Scarlett by my side.

We were working on the defenses of Sapphire in order to better protect all of my girls that are staying here.

A lot of people made the move over here with me from the Kingdom of Ice. Many of them used the teleportation formation that I developed for the use of the forces I have stationed all over Regalius.

After finishing up my work on Sapphire I looked into some of the worms that had made there way into my company.

The CFO Dwayne Colleen he is your typical pretty boy that is quite a bit older than me. One of my agents represented me to hire him to take over the day to day operations of the Shield group.

A mistake on my part I admit but even I can't be perfect all of the time. This is not some kind of feel good story. Where people never make mistakes.

Sometimes shit is going to go south. I have to acknowledge my mistakes and move on from them.

However the protagonist aura of Adrian Fury is quite potent. If you have not figured it out by now yes I’m stuck in a novel world.

But trust me it’s a lot weirder than just that. You will have to stay tuned to learn more about that issue.

The problem with Dwayne is not that he took money from me. No the problem is that he got his hands on some of the Shield’s group’s internal magic formations.

How I’m not sure I suspect that there is a spy in my organization. Something that I have been expecting for a while now.

Lucky the spy is not in a high position so they don’t have access to much high level information or fusion technology.

Scarlett is hard at work figuring out the spy or spies but hopefully it is not more than one. But you know what they say about rats. Where there is one there are more.

“Scarlett this fucker has given quite a bit of information to that asshole Adrian. So they should be meeting in the next few days for another handoff.”

“Why don’t we due this since we have intercepted the information he intended to sell.”

As I told Scarlett my plan to deal with this rat she smiled evilly.

“If he’s going to try to steal from me I’m going to kill that little loser. But what would be one of the best ways to kill this man that would be the question."

Smiling we both knew the answer to this question as we could easily eliminate him but we need to make a rat suffer.

Scarlett looked at me with some concern.

“Don’t get to worked up about a spy in our organization something like this is bound to happen. Not everyone that you help Trinity is going to be grateful enough to stay loyal."

"You’re not the kind of person who forces people to be loyal. Everyone who serves you knows that we’re not slaves and that you treat us with a great deal of respect.”

That’s right I am more concerned about a traitor in our ranks rather than some man who betrayed me to the protagonist.

The women that I’ve recruited into my organization are supposed to be my sisters in arms but sometimes loyalty cannot always be guaranteed.

I have never been the kind of person to force it on others.

We decided to move forward with our plan. So I let Scarlett deal with investigation into the traitor we have amoung my ranks.

Several days later we Scarlett and me got ready to watch a good show.

We found ourselves observing the trade off between Adrian Fury and Dwayne. He showed up classically as could be predicted in a empty alleyway.

Adrian could be described at the textbook protagonist who is extremely petty and vengeful. He’s one of those typical novel weirdos who could justify raping a woman then expecting her to fall in love with him.

Like that kind of shit could even happen in real life. But if it were possible it would happen to him.

But it is not love it’s Stockholm syndrome. Anyway Adrian would be described at a tall muscular blond hair, blue eyed guy.

With an arrogant look Adrian looks down on anything and everyone. Especially woman he simply uses them for the benefits they offer.

Like I would let scum like him touch any woman.
