I said with a smirk on my face as I played with Scarlett’s hair.

Scarlett pinched me.

“Hmph flattery will get you only so far. Don’t think for one second that all of us girls are not aware that one of the reasons you came back here. Is because you want to gather more wives for yourself.”

“Come on I never had any such plans." I say while smiling like a geek.

“I guess I can’t even claim that when you’re the one helping me court Sonia in the first place. But seriously I’m just trying to take back some interest for the wrongs that have been inflicted on me in the past.”

“Plus I’m a bit of a collector of fine lady’s. Why give them to Adrian the Protagonist when I can keep these precious flowers for myself.”

“However from the information I’ve gathered the women that I'm going to be pursuing many of them are far from delicate.”

“I find extremely hard to believe that Adrian is going to even be able to woo these girls. My guess is that he's going to simply use some underhanded methods to deflower them and force them into marriage. Which is a common tactic used by men like him.”

“Scarlett in a lot of these situations I imagine it's going to be their families that are going to be selling them to Adrian for marriage in order to receive benefits. Or some other underhanded method involving pressure of some kind.”

“As disgusting as it is to admit one of the reasons for the downfall of my house was because of my parents. They declined an engagement agreement with Adrian’s parents. He had plans to weasel his way into my house and take over my title."

"However my parents gave me the option to decline and I did. And of course the consequences were dire from that choice.”

Scarlett jumped out of my arms at my statement.

I guess I’ve never shared that details with her before.

“What the hell do you mean he tried to make a move on my Boo. No one can take my things away from me. To think that that pig killed your parents and tried to kill you because he could not get his hands on you."

“Calm down Scarlett it was not just him it was also his parents and others as well. I suspect that behind the invitation of marriage were far more sinister intentions. Than simply my parents wealth and social status."

“If my speculation is correct the reasons for my families death go far higher than simply the fury family. Perhaps the imperial family is involved. And behind them I’m suspecting the church.”

What I did not mention was the fact that in this world I’m being pushed to be the final boss. Something that is different from a pathetic clingy dumped villainous.

I’ve read a lot about those villainesses in novels who are always all over the male lead. Hanging on there every word. Well let’s just say that could have been me if I did not chose to go against the plot.

As a result this world took a giant shit on me. Trying to bring me down. But I’ve been proactive in defense since day one. One of the only times I failed was when they were able to get there hands on my parents.

Scarlett looked at me with a fierce gaze.

“Trinity if anyone try’s to harm you again. We will slaughter them all. Then bathe in their blood.”

“Hmm it would not be the first time we have done such a thing would it be Scarlett.”

Talking with Scarlett like that got me all hot and bothered so I took her to my room. Where we spent the rest of the night playing.
