With me and Scarlett watching we listened to there meeting.

----- Adrian's POV------

Meeting with Dwayne from the Shield group has been a very productive endeavor for me the last several months.

With the magic formations I've gotten from Dwayne I've been able to start integrating them into the fury group in order to start stealing some of the business of The Shield group.

The Shield group has had a monopoly on magic Fusion technology for too long so what if they invented it. There are plenty of people out there like myself who will do whatever it takes to steal technology in order to make a profit off of it.

In my eyes the only winner is the last person left standing and that will always be me.

I've always been exceedingly Lucky in life both with business and with my family as my father stepped down as the head of our family. Father allowed me to take over at a young age receiving the official title of Duke Adrian Fury with my title of nobility I can do pretty much whatever I want within the empire.

I've always been untouchable but now I'm even more so. Ha ha the stupid Shield group can not even touch me.

Dwayne is a fool to sell his companies secrets to me after I get my hands on everything he has I will have him killed then initiate a hostile takeover of The Shield group's properties they won't be able to maintain their value if they can't even pay their employees.

Authors Note- If you have not already figured it out the majority of anyone with any power in the Dawn Empire is somebody with a nobility title within the empire.

It's extremely difficult to have a company without the benefits that come with being from nobility. The one exception to this rule is Trinity since her backing is her exclusive knowledge and abilities.

The Shield group is the only existence within the three empires that has reached its scale. Without the person being in charge of the company being someone of nobility that the three empires recognize.

Back to Adrian.

Dwayne stood before me but I began to get bad vibes form Dwayne from the moment he showed up in this alley unlike the other times we have met.

Dwayne would be considered a good looking guy with his brown hair and brown eyes. But his eyes looked a bit lifeless today.

When he got out of his vehicle he tried to approach me but my bodyguards stoped him.

"Mr. Fury I have the magic formations master prints that you requested. Here they are sir."

Again Dwayne tried to hand them to me only to be stopped by my men.

"What's wrong with you Dwayne you don't look right?"

"Mr. Fury let's just get this exchange over with I'm tired and want to go home."

"Fine then give the things to my bodyguard he will pass it to me."

I don't know why but I felt the sense of danger if I were to approach Dwayne at this time.

As he tried to hand his things to me for a third time this time he started to get aggressive and made a jump towards me.

My men jumped into action and started to dog pile on top of him.

"Dispose of him and brig me those documents." I ordered.

As those words left my mouth I started to see Dwayne begin to swell up as his body seemed to be filled with too much magic power.

As his body began to inflate I backed away from Dwayne just to be on the safe side.

As I moved away my guards that had dog piled on Dwayne while holding him down tried to run but where caught in a the violent explosion from Dwayne's body that turned him into a massive flesh bomb.

As he exploded his guts and bone fragments acted as shrapnel that flew into the body's of my guard's.

As the shrapnel impaled them they all fell to the ground dead. Five of my men died along with Dwayne who turned them into human pincushions.

With the entire alley now covered in a thick red fog of blood. While Dwayne's guts and fragments of bone laid everywhere from the ground all the way to being embedded into the walls of the buildings. Including my now five dead bodyguards.
