《The Beginning of the Age of Heroes》Chapter 22

The team had made the attack on the Triad look good and now they knew that someone was after them other than ARGUS. Now the team was preparing to return home and take down the Triad with both formulas. It would be good to see home again, but of course they knew that they couldn't stay. They would be home soon enough and once they got there they would be saving the city from what it had become.
"So, how are you guys feeling about going home, but not being able to stay?" Athena asked since she knew that all of her friends were going to hate having to leave home once this mission was over.
"I am looking forward to seeing how everyone is doing, even though we can't let them know we are there. I want to see how Tommy and my parents are doing." Arrow said.
"Yeah, I want to see my parents as well. I hope they are doing ok." Black Canary said.
"I am sure they are fine. Don't let yourself dwell on it if they are not. We can help fix everything once we are back from our training." Arrow said and the team nodded because they knew that he was right.
"Ok, let's head to the airport. The Triad are going to look to get their hands on the other half of the virus as soon as possible." Arrow said as the team got ready and they headed for the airport.
. . .
The team knew that the flight was going to be a long one, but they didn't think it was going to be that long. They had been smart to put on disguises before they left Hong Kong because they knew that if they landed in Starling City without any disguises everyone would know who they were and their cover would be blown.

Once they were through customs, they headed to a hotel that they had called before they left Hong Kong so that they could have somewhere to lay low and get ready for the mission. The hotel was a nice one, like one that Arrow and his family would stay in before Arrow, Artemis, and Supergirl were lost at sea.
"This place is nice. I am glad that the League is furnishing everything for us." White Canary said.
"Yeah, that is nice. I hate to say it, but I got used to this while I have been living with the Queens and I didn't know how much I missed it until now." Supergirl said.
"Yeah, I miss it too, but I am glad that I now know what it is like to live without it. It makes me want to work for what I have instead of getting it handed to me like I used to." Artemis said.
"I am glad that you are learning something from this. I knew that you and I were going to be the ones who all of this hardship from the past couple of years would hit the hardest, but I think we have done well and we have become better people in the process." Arrow said and Artemis nodded.
"I don't think the two of you were ever bad people. Just spoiled is all. Now that you have lived like the people who are in poverty in the city, you finally are able to show who you really are and that is not the spoiled brats the two of you used to be." Black Canary said.
"I have to agree with her, Arrow. You were never a bad person. You just enjoyed having money, but you know what it is like not to have it now." Flash said and everyone in the room nodded.

"Let's get out there and find out what the Triad are up to. I don't know how long we are going to have to wait for this sale to go down, but we need to know when it is going to be and also where it is going to be so that we can stop it." Arrow said and the team nodded as they got into their disguises again and made their way out in their home city for the first time in years.
. . .
Later that night, after the team was done scouting the city to see what they could find out about the sale, they met back at the hotel to find out if any of them had found out anything that was going on.
"I ended up finding China White and she was very talkative with her friends. Looks like the sale is going to be tomorrow night at the docks. She said that the time of the sale was going to be at 7 PM." Supergirl said.
"Good, so we know the when and the where. We just need to be ready to finish this. Remember once you get Alpha/Omega virus, destroy all of it. That stuff does not need to be out in the world. Once we are done with the Triad we will find out where this rogue General and rogue government agent is and end them as well." Arrow said.
"I think we are doing well for our first solo mission. I hope that Ra's is happy with our progress." White Canary said.
"I am sure that he is. We just need to make sure that the job is done. If we do that, then even if we didn't do as good as he thought we should have, he will still be impressed." Athena said.
"I hope you are right. We all know how he takes failure." Black Canary said.
"We aren't going to fail. We will finish the mission and go back to the League and Ra's will be happy that two rogue US citizens have been taken care of as well as one of the biggest criminal organizations in the world. If he isn't happy, I don't know what would make him happy." Arrow said and the team nodded in agreement.
"So, let's get some rest. Tomorrow is going to be a big day, and we are going to need all the energy that we can get." Arrow said and everyone went to their rooms and went to sleep so that they would be ready to finish this part of the mission tomorrow night.

I'm a Veteran Adventurer in a World without Healing Magic.
It's a fantasy world just like any other, orcs, elves, monsters, adventurer's guilds... Just one catch, though: there's no such thing as healing magic. Get a nasty wound from the monster you're fighting? There's nothing to patch you up, not so much as a red potion or a cure light wounds spell! All you can rely on are mundane medical procedures to help you get back on your feet. And those don't come cheap! You can probably guess that injuries that in other worlds would be minor are rather costly in one where the priest class doesn't exist. the hero, the villain, and the profiteer
...*ahem*.... I have been on the site for a while and I have wanted to make my own piece of literature for this site so I'm going to do it here is what I will be making as my first one. Honestly the thought just popped into my head yesterday I rather enjoy several different kinds of stories on the site, so I found a way to do a little bit of each. I myself am a high-functioning autistic but that's only shows in my writing for the most part they look will be the occasional grammar mistake and missing apostrophes and periods I'm also using a speech to text feature on my computer that will occasionally slip up. Now for the synopsis of the story: your standard reincarnation seventh hero type deal but there is a little..... Slip up: parts of the person fractals creating several people;; A great-hearted hero, a savvy traveling merchant, and a sadist curious dungeon Lord. Critiques and people reading this is appreciated, I mostly just doing this for fun. And because this is somewhat important for some reason the cover art is not made by me I just got it from search engine. It also may change over time. im mostly following the dl becouse...i don't know.

A Siren's Call
I was a normal teenage girl but one day I was kidnapped. Everything changed after that. I saw the cruelty of the world. I had learned late about what I should fear more in life. I was granted a rebirth and a screen popped up in front of me. There were two choices: ‘New Life’ and ‘Revenge’. I wonder which I should choose. **A story about a girl who lost her sanity and falls deeper and deeper into the darkness.** WARNING: This story is not for the soft hearted. There are a lot of moments where you'd question my own sanity. Heck, I was disturbed at some moments as I write this story but I can't not write it! **DOUBLE WARNING: This is a very very very very dark story.** : p.s. I do not own the cover art in any way or form and found it using the almighty google-sensei.
