Everyone was already at the shop when Nick arrived. He handed Kelly to Eve who took him to the back room. Diana instantly walked over to Farris.

"Hi," Farris greeted happily. She kneeled down so she was Diana's height.

"You're different like Hank," Diana said, her eyes turning purple while she held Farris's hand. "You're human."

"Yes, I am," Farris said, looking at Diana's eyes curiously.

"I'm Diana," she introduced.

"Hello, Diana. I'm Janelle," Farris said.

Diana smiled before walking into the back room with Eve.

"Are we ready?" Nick asked. "Did you grab hiking gear?" he questioned Monroe.

Rosalee pointed to the pile of gear that was behind Nick. "I think we're good to go."

"Yeah, man," Monroe agreed. "I grabbed everything I could find. I found a few backpacks, a bunch of maps, a lighter, three compasses, a flashlight, a first aid kit, a Swiss army knife. I even found an altimeter," he said excitedly.

"What are we waiting for?" Hank asked enthusiastically.

"Wait," Rosalee said. She grabbed a jar off of one of the shelves and opened it. She held it up to Monroe's nose, and he took a deep sniff.

"Hmm," he said. He took another breath. "It smells... resinous, and," he smelled it again, "Somewhat sweet. Definitely plant-y like a mixture of freshly cut grass and mushrooms."

"We'll bring this with us," Rosalee said, closing the jar and tucking it into a backpack that she was wearing.

Everyone took the supplies they needed. Nick grabbed a backpack from his house, so he already had one. Monroe grabbed a backpack from the pile of hiking gear he had brought. It must have had all of the small items he was talking about because it looked like it was slightly full. Farris was also wearing a backpack with a water bottle stuffed in the side pocket. Nick handed Trubel the water he had grabbed for her, and she offered to carry the cooler for him. Hank grabbed the last backpack and put Wu's water bottle in it as well as his own.

Together the group left with all of their supplies, wearing their hiking clothes, and piled into each other's cars. Farris rode with Hank, Wu and Trubel rode in Nick's car, and Monroe and Rosalee took their Fiat.

"What are you doing?" Diana asked Eve while she looked through drawers and shelves.

"I'm looking for small glass jars," Eve said. "We're going to make something when the others come back."

"Why don't you use those?" Diana asked. Eve didn't know what she was talking about until her eyes turned purple and a drawer opened; it was full of small empty jars.

"That's a great idea," Eve said, pulling out a jar and closing the drawer.

Now she needed to find the 100 proof vodka. Rosalee said she was pretty sure she had some. Eve looked around and didn't see a bottle anywhere. Eventually, she spotted a case at the top of one of the shelves, but she couldn't reach it. Eve wasn't particularly fond of asking Diana to use her powers to get a case of alcohol for her, so she woged and eased the box off of the top shelf. It inched off slowly and almost fell to the ground, but Diana looked at it with her purple gaze to keep it from shattering.

"How come it almost fell?" Diana asked.

Eve woged back to normal. "I guess I'm out of practice," she said, snatching the box out of the air. She set it on the counter and pulled out a bottle of vodka, setting next to the jar she had picked out.

"You can do a lot more than that," Diana said casually, motioning to the top shelf that the box came from.

"I used to be able to," Eve said. She knew that ever since Nick used the stick on her, her powers were weakened and it was incredibly draining to woge; she still didn't know why that happened, even after everything that happened with Zerstorer. As time went on, Eve noticed it grew easier and easier to woge. Eve was pretty sure she had all of her strength and abilities back, but she had tried her best not to use them when she didn't have to.

"You still can," Diana said.

"Sometimes, it's better to save them for when you really need them," Eve told Diana.

"Should I save them?" Diana asked confused.

Eve walked Diana into the back room, and they both sat down on the bed. "You know how Hank and Janelle are different? They can't transform, and they aren't Grimms?"

"Yeah," Diana said.

"Well, most people like that don't know about your abilities, and they don't know about the people that can transform or Grimms. They don't know that that kind of reality exists and seeing it would scare them or make them upset," Eve explained.

"What kinds of abilities?" Diana asked.

"Most people aren't like us," Eve said. "They can't move things with their mind. Nick, Rosalee, and even your dad can't do that, even though they are special in their own way. And, I can't connect with other dimensions or make myself appear somewhere I'm not like you can," Eve said. "You're very special, and there are few people, if any, that can do what you can. So, you have to be careful with what you do and who you show your abilities to. There are some people that would want to ask you to help them with bad things, and there are others that would be afraid of you."

"Is what I can do bad?" Diana asked sadly.

"No. No, sweetie," Eve said quickly. "It's just different and, sometimes, people don't understand that. That's why we have to work extra hard to be careful, and kind, and easy to be friends with," Eve said gently, smiling at Diana.

"So I shouldn't use my abilities?" Diana clarified.

"Never in public, unless you absolutely have to, do you understand?" Eve said softly.

Diana nodded. "I don't want to scare people or do bad things," she said.

"Exactly," Eve said. "You can use it around us if you want, but it may be a good idea to use it less often."

"Why?" Diana asked.

"For practice," Eve said. "If you rely too much on what you can do, you will have trouble knowing how to do everyday things that average people do. You might not know how to act in public if you don't practice."

Eve felt bad for telling Diana to suppress her powers, but it was a necessary conversation to have; it could save Diana from being shunned at school or getting into problems with people that would try to use her. It had to be done.

For the rest of the day, Eve and Diana made a game out of not using their powers. Eve would ask Diana to find something for her and Diana would walk around, opening drawers and boxes with her hands rather than using her abilities to sense where the object was and opening the drawer with her mind. Then, Diana would ask Eve to get a jar from the top shelf, and Eve would use the ladder attached to the shelves, pull it over to the correct place, and climb it so she could reach the jar.

"We should split up to cover more ground," Trubel suggested when everyone arrived at the park.

"Okay, let's make teams," Nick said. "I'll go with Wu and Trubel. Monroe and Rosalee, you guys can go together. Hank and Farris, you can be a pair. Does that work?" Nick asked.

Everyone nodded and a few people said, "Yeah."

"Let's divide the supplies," Monroe said. He pulled his backpack out of his car and dug through it briefly before pulling out two compasses. He handed one to Wu and one to Hank. He dug some more and pulled out an object that looked like a small clock. He asked if anyone had used an altimeter before, and Farris said, "Yes," so he gave it to her.

Trubel opened the cooler and saw that Nick had packed a few ice packs in with the food. Monroe looked down at them and said, "That reminds me! I almost forgot." He pulled out two bags that were lined on the inside with some kind of insulating fabric. He gave one to Hank and kept the other for himself. Trubel threw an ice pack to each of them and threw their sandwiches to them. Monroe's vegetarian sandwich was marked with an, "M," and Trubel made sure to give that one to Monroe.

While Trubel did that, Nick grabbed a handful of granola bars and divided them amongst the group. The trail mix was in one large bag, so Nick decided to give it to Monroe; he gave the pizza to Hank and kept the extra granola bars for himself.

Hank grabbed his backpack gave Wu his water bottle. Wu took it and put it in Nick's. Monroe was still digging around in his backpack. He pulled out a first aid kit and a swiss army knife. "I want to keep the first aid kit if that's alright," Monroe said. He only had the one and he wanted to have it just in case Rosalee got hurt. Everyone agreed to let him keep it. Monroe then held up the knife. "Who wants it?" he asked.

"I already have a knife," Trubel said. Of course, she did.

"Then, we'll take it," Farris said, taking the knife out of Monroe's hand and putting it in her backpack.

"I think we're ready for some hiking," Rosalee approved.

"Alright," Nick said. "Let's meet back here in six hours at the most. Three hours in, three out." Everyone agreed.

"Let's find that creepy plant!" Wu said excitedly. The groups decided on the directions that they would go and set off.
