CHAPTER NINETEEN
soonyoung walked into the boys dorm lobby, going through the bag filled with different kinds of snacks.
after the incident that happened not too long ago, he felt stressed and when he feels that way he finds that he feels better after he eats something sweet.
“awe man, I forgot the ice cream,” he frowned as he began walking up the stairs. “soonyoung, really get your life together.”
he was almost to his floor when he could hear quiet sobs and harsh footsteps. he lowered his bag, thinking it would be jisoo. he could finally feel the joy of watching him cry the same way he made jeonghan.
he kind of shuttered, those memories were horrible.
but, when the boy came in sight, it was not jisoo but seungcheol.
“seungcheol...?” the confusion could be heard, once he said his name the older boy looked up.
his eyes were a puffy and red with water streaming out of them.
“hey, hey what's wrong?” he placed his bag down and walked up towards the his friend, he hasn't seen him this bad since her.
he placed a hand on his shoulder and began to rub up and down his arm.
“dont tell jeonghan you saw me, please.” seungcheol's eyes widened a bit. “soonyoung please...don't...” his voice was as shaky as his breathing.
he saw how desperate his friend was, which could only make him think about what had happened before even more.
“o-okay, but I'll take you back to your dorm.” soonyoung demanded as he walked next to his heart broken friend.
they walked in silence, the cold breeze pinching their exposed skin. he just had to live in the dorm across campus.
seungcheol was too in shock, he didn't know what to do.

“who's the lucky one getting these flowers?” the cashier asked as she rang them up.
seungcheol knew that jeonghan has not had the best week, getting overly drunk, throwing up, seeing his ex, and catching a stomach flu on top of that.
“my boyfriend, he's been having a tough time so I hope these will make feel a bit better,” seungcheol answered.
“im sure he'll love them, he's lucky, people like you come once in a lifetime.”
“seungcheol,” soonyoung was waving his hand, trying to bring his friend back into reality.
the boys were now sitting down inside seungcheol's dorm, inside his bedroom. soonyoung realized he had not thought this through, awkward silence surrounded both boys.
“sorry soon,” seungcheol mumbled, his voice almost inaudible.
seungcheol felt trapped, he was not sure how he felt really. it was like he knew he was hurt, but just too shock to comprehend that he was.
“do you wanna talk about it?” soonyoung laid back on the bed as he asked seungcheol.
did he?
the wind blew past seungcheol as he made his way towards the lobby of jeonghan's building. the coldness bit his skin as he scurried along the sidewalk.
he clutched the flowers close to his chest, he was sure jeonghan would love these. seungcheol smiled at the thought of jeonghan's smile, he walked up the stairs while smelling them.
seungcheol felt his stomach get warm and fuzzy as he approached the door. he loved that, the feeling jeonghan gave him.
to his surprise, it was cracked opened. he moved his hand to the knob so he could enter, until he heard a familiar voice.
“i can't.”
he peeked through, and the flowers slipped out of his hand. they hit the ground with a quiet thud, pedals scattering everywhere.

jeonghan had his lips connected to jisoo's.
“hey, hey come on now cheol,” soonyoung brought him out of his mind again, pulling him into a supportive hug.
he had not realized it, but his eyes were dripping with tears again. because of that picture, seungcheol felt his heart clench and sobs escape his throat.
“i..I saw them...” he broke. “j-jeonghan and..and jisoo...k-kissing...” he finally explained, although it was vague, it was enough.
soonyoung froze, his while body and everything inside him just stopped. this scene seemed famiar to him. far too familiar.
kissing? soonyoung tried to think of several other scenarios, any other answer that could indicate what his friend saw was wrong.
jeonghan would not do that, he couldn't.
“w-what?” soonyoung asked. “are...are you sure?”
seungcheol back away from soonyoung's embrace, he wiped his face with the paws of his sweater.
“yeah,” he breathed out. “i didn't think jeonghan...I just...”
soonyoung was just about to open his mouth when the front door opened, both their heads turning in that direction.
seungcheol was hoping that it was seokmin, not jisoo. then again, has much been going his way recently?
“cheol, guess what I got?” jisoo's voice echoed a bit as seungcheol's head began to spin again. “mint chocolate chip ice— hey what's wrong?”
jisoo walked through the door, his eyes now on seungcheol and his current state. he walked closer, sincerely wondering what was wrong.
it would have been better if he had just stayed in the doorway.
seungcheol was still upset, the images triggering something inside him that he feared. he stood up, neither of the two boys thinking much of it.
seungcheol shoved his hands in his pockets, “what's wrong?” he laughed bitterly afterwards.
jisoo nodded his head and raised his eyebrows.
seungcheol felt overcome by rage as he suddenly raised his hand and threw a solid punch across jisoo's face.
the younger fell to the floor and covered his nose—which was now oozing red blood.
“WHAT THE FUCK DUDE?”
soonyoung stood up, his hand covering his mouth. seungcheol pushed him aside and was now on top of jisoo, he raised his hand again and punched him once more.
“seungcheol, stop!” soonyoung tried to muster up all the strength he had to pull him off, but seungcheol's anger was too strong. the adrenaline was too much.
still he tried.
then he felt another body next to his, looking to his right, it was seokmin. with their teamwork the were able to pull him off of jisoo— whose face was now red, and injured.
“what the heck seungcheol? what is wrong with you?” seokmin asked as he was frantically trying to help his boyfriend.
“ask your unloyal piece of shit boyfriend.” he gritted through his teeth, he yanked his arm from soonyoung's grip and walked out the door.

Universal Strength: Power is Everything **Indefinite Hiatus**
Power is a thing that many people greatly yearn. Those with power yearn more power and those without power yearn for it. There isn't anyone born with power that they can call their own. Power is either earned or given and in reality it doesn't matter which is better, power is power and power is everything. This is another story that has been going around in my head and I just had to let it out. I think I did a decent synopsis on this one lol. I will not be dropping my other two stories and I will be releasing one chapter of this a week as well. Chapter release is honestly whenever I can. (Warning! Story is partially wish fulfillment.) The cover art used is from Google Images and will be changed when I create one or have one created for me.

I’ve spent the past five years in isolation and under study. With my home razed by a Syldrari attack, my mind damaged, and nothing but white walls and a viewing window around me, I dedicated myself to two things: training my body, and reading any book they allowed me to have. The Empire wants me to serve, to use the inhuman power the Incident stirred within me. Technically, they asked, but it wasn’t much of a choice. It never is. Serve, or… I refused to be a mindless slave. My life was taken from me once. Never again. With the Empire moving forward with their xenophobic plans, they needed someone capable of killing Syldrari—and I was just that. A tool they could use, a tool they thought they could manipulate. Needing me was their first mistake. They gave me leverage, I named my terms. Now, after five years, my life can begin.

Authority [Dropped]
Notice: Updates are set to every other day. Or to be precise every 2-3 days. Thank you! "The theory of evolution was introduced by Charles Darwin and it baffled the world. Going by the same principle as Darwin's theory all living organisms by nature are capable of evolution to an extent. Evolution in games are always just limited however this is not a game but rather reality. However the only thing that stagnates the whole premise of evolution is the environment. Environment is always the number one factor of evolution. Going by that logic. Stimulation for survival is needed to evolve and better suit the environment. " - Titus
