《The Love That Define Us {Completed}》Fear

My mind was only thinking about her, was she safe, how's she? Since Geeta told me that she forget Diya, in the bus, while talking to Raj.
I was worried, I roamed around the city, and also went to the last stop to look but couldn't find her.
Suddenly, Lina my assistant, connected my call with some Doctor Davies. He told me she's safe and she is with him. He sent me his location. And without thinking twice I drove there.
The place was sketchy, but his house was quite big and decent. I rang the door bell nervously.
A man, in black leather jacket, and ripped jeans ,opened the door. "Where's She?" I asked.
"Inside, please come." He gestured me to come inside.
I followed him, and noticed Diya sitting on a sofa."Diya." I said in relief.
"Anuraag.." before she could stumble I caught her, her hand gripped tightly on my shirt.
"I was so scared." She nestled in my chest. I wrapped my arms around her, pulling her in hug. "I am sorry, baby. I should have come with you earlier," I said with guilt.
"Thank you so much..Mr.Lucas." I looked at him.
"No, problem." Davies said.
"Diya, what happened to your foot? How did you get hurt?" I asked concernedly.
"I walked on something, and got hurt. It's nothing, Davies, cleaned it well." She pressed her lips in thin smile.
Davies. It made me weird to hear his name from her. I winced.
"Thank you so much, once again!" I said, with a smile.
"No problem." He smiled.
"I found her on the street near bus stop, she looked terrified, plus I couldn't help myself from helping after seeing her hurt, so I brought her here and called you." He finished.

Brought her, meaning he would have picked her, in his arms, my angel, he touched her! I-
No Anuraag don't think bad, he just helped her. I thought to myself.
I eyed him from head to toe, he was attractive looking. But if he had touched her, even for helping her....
It reminded me when she touched me, to know how I looked underneath her soft touch. It made me fall for her even more...
In his presence I felt threatened, the light of green eyes, while looking at her.
If I don't get it wrong, the way he was looking at her, was telling me, that he might have crush on her.
I shook my head.
"Diya, we should go" I cleared my throat.
I tugged her hair strand behind her earlobe, I noticed her body was cold, she was shivering. I put my coat on her shoulder, she shrugged in it, adjusting her duppta.(stall) I scoped her into my arms, leaving his house to my car, I helped her sitting in the car. As I got in the car, I activated the heat button, she felt little better. I started to drove, to Raj's house. I looked at her, in between when we stopped at red light. She looked lost. I slide my hand and cupping her hand, she hesitated, I quickly tried to removed my hand but she held on my hand. I liked it.
She doesn't even know that I love her.
Remembering a bit of, when she got lost few hrs ago, made my heart jump out of my chest in fear, I shouldn't keep her in dark, I should tell her, that I love her, and I want to share my life with her in all true ways, in exchange if she would ask for my soul, life, I will give her.

"Diya- I paused when I saw her sleeping peacefully. I smiled at her.
—
"What happened to her? Why are you carrying her like this?" Geeta followed me to our room.
"She is Fine, Geeta. She's just asleep." I whispered, laying her on the bed carefully.
Geeta and I walked out of the room.
"Thank god! I was so worried! If something would happened her, I would've never able to forgive myself !" She said in guilt.
"Don't worry, everything is fine now." I said.
"I hope you've forgiven me."
"Yes I have. Don't worry." I said with a smile.
"Thank you, Anu.—I should go to suraj's room. Goodnight!"
"Goodnight"
—
"Hey, you are awake?" I entered in room, noticing her sitting on bed. Her black hair were messy, while she was taking ofd the coat I gave her.
"I want to change—can you give a hand to walk me to closet." She said lazily.
"Of course!"
I took her hand, and lead to the closet, she took her night clothes, and headed to the bathroom to change. Few minutes later she was back.
"Are you hungry?" I asked her.
"No,"
She walked cautiously towards the bed and sit on it, adjusting pillow behind her back, her head fell back resting on bed stand, while she was massaging with her fingers.
"Do you have headache?"
"Yes-it's hurting like hell!" She said raspy voice.
"I can massage your head, if you want?" I shrugged.
"No—you should sleep too. I will be fine."
Ignoring her, I walked towards the bed.
"Let me do it" I insisted.
"Okay,But-
"No buts" I replied.
"Now Diya, lay your head on my lap." I said stubbornly in strict tone.
She silently, laid her head on my lap. I gently massaged her head, softly stroking her silky hair in between, she released her stiffness and laid in calmness, and fell sleep on my lap. Before removing her head from lap I kissed her forehead softly and placed her on the pillow tucking her in warm blanket.
