"Are you done?" I frowned at Roman. We planned to take each other out to eat today, being that I got my first pay check and Roman was finally free. But he was too busy singing to himself in the mirror. "It's always been that way, baby I still feel the same." He sung facing me. I started smiling, he knew that was my favorite Bryson Tiller song. "You're going to make us miss our reservation." I playfully rolled my eyes at him. But he ignored me and grabbed my hand while singing "Something I gotta maintain, listen to me when I say. It's always been that way". "When we're starving don't cry okay?" I smirked pulling my hand away from him. "Aight, I'll stop." He chuckled turning off the music. "Do you have everything you need?" I asked crossing my arms at him. He nodded his head while sliding his phone into his back pocket and he cut the lights off. "Do you have everything you need?" He spoke making me laugh. "Didn't I come here to pick you up?" I asked looking over my shoulder. "I think so." He smirked making us both laugh at him. I sucked my teeth and grabbed my sticky pink tote bag. "Where's your jacket or something?" Roman frowned. "Ro don't start, I figured since we were taking your car I didn't need my jacket." I snickered making him frown. "Well hold that thought." He said before rushing to the back. I laughed while slipping on my black H&M leather jacket. Roman came back with his custom made Michael Jordan jean jacket, which I got him for three Christmas's ago. "Awwwe you still have this?!" I cooed but Roman moved it out of my reach. "And you blame me for making us late with yo difficult ass." He asked making me laugh at him. "I know but you should've known me better than that." I flipped my hair and dug in my bag to spray some perfume on my denim zip up dress and jacket again. "We out then." Roman said turning off the living room lights then the kitchen light. So I walked out of the house first and spotted the girls who wanted me to go to Yolanda's party. "Slay sis! You better!" Amber cheered me on, Roman told me all of their names when I told him about them. "Thank you." I smiled and here came Roman. "Bihhhh and her nigga is fly as hell?!" Déjà asked making Roman and I laugh at her. They were always complementing me when I ran into them. "What's up ladies?" Roman smiled at them. "Hey Roman!" They all cooed like a chorus. I laughed some more. "And that's my best friend not my man, even though he acts like one." I playfully rolled my eyes before Roman pinched me. "Ouch! You see?!" I winced in pain making them laugh at us now. I'm guessing they didn't see him pinch me, that's slick ass Roman for you though. "You guys are so cute no lie." Brittany cooed as the elevator doors opened. "Thank you." We both smiled. But I caught them inhaling Roman's scent. I quietly laughed to myself while shaking my head. "What?" Roman asked staring at me. "Nothing nosey." I stuck my tongue out at him. He nodded his head then squinted at me. "Ohhh I know that glare from anywhere!" Déjà teased making us all laugh at her. "Oh bars!" I cheered making them laugh at me now. Roman looked my way and started laughing. "You so goofy." He chuckled. I stuck out my tongue and shrugged. It was so funny how the girls really were watching us like a movie. Once we got off of the elevator, we shared our goodbyes and got inside of Roman's car. Instantly turning on the music, I smiled being that Wishing by DJ Drama was already playing. Putting on my seatbelt, I turned the music up a little louder. "Baby you know who I am and girl I know just who you are. We ain't gotta rush into shit cause being in love is too hard." We both sung along with Chris Brown as Roman pulled out of parking. Unlocking my phone, I frowned realizing something. "Roman put on that seatbelt." I said before tapping onto the Snapchat icon. He nodded his head while smiling and put the seatbelt. Good boy. But he took off his seatbelt and started dancing, I mean it was safe do so right now since it was red light. "Say cheese 'cause I'm showing your mom." I said turning my camera his way. And such bravery this boy had today, he turned my way and stuck up his middle finger while posing. "I'll accept that in my inbox, DM, iMessage and anywhere else." He chuckled quickly putting back on his seatbelt. "Or how about mommy's gmail?" I smiled. But he was too focused on the road now. So I sat back and began to make videos on snap.

"That smoke is dope." Roman smiled as our waitress made our drinks in front of us. "Right?" I cooed just as excited. We chose to go to Sugar Factory instead of Nine Ninjas, even though we really didn't have reservations for Nine Ninjas. "And look at my fishes swimming." Roman said making me laugh at his excitement. My best friend could be so goofy at times. "Here you go." Natalia, the waitress smiled at us. "Thank you." I smiled and reached for my lollipop. I've been wanting to try that one ever since Sugar Factory caught everyone's attention. "That's why you got braces, you should share." Roman smirked. Ignoring him, I peeled the gummy cherry candy and popped it into my mouth. "That would've worked with me like five years ago when I didn't want braces, but now ? I'll eat all the candy I want." I said purposely smacking. Roman scrunched up his face while I continued to smack. "That's why you got a big head." He snickered. "Still pull niggas though." I shrugged while tossing the other gummy cherry candy into my mouth. Roman started laughing and shook his head. "You know I'll still fuck you up in here right?" He smiled. I flipped my hair ignoring his bluff and sipped on my drink. "I'm just going to eat so I won't embarrass you." He spoke sarcastically. "Okay! I'm sorry Ro!" I laughed grabbing his hands over the table. "What? I didn't even do anything." He chuckled letting me hold him. "No but I know after this or later you'll want revenge." I whined while laughing. Roman pinch the hardest out of this world, if there is someone who pinches harder, God bless. "Okay, I promise I'll let you rock. Just let me eat I'm starving." He chuckled. So I let his hands go and we both started eating in complete silence. He must've did the same thing as I did, waited until I got here to eat. So I wouldn't waste my food because I hate leftovers. Especially leftover fried chicken, ew. "Damnnn Kay." Roman snickered. "Shut up Roman." I laughed wiping my mouth. This pizza burger was tasting like everything and more. And Roman wants to interrupt me with my new favorite burger. "Ro can you learn how to make pizza burgers?" I smiled leaning forward. Roman acted as if he was thinking about it then nodded his head. "But I have to see them grades rolling in first." He smiled. "Deal." I smiled. If good grades is what he want, he'll be seeing some great grades !! I'll even make it to the principal's list for some food. "So how's work Kay?" Roman asked mixing his drink. I mentally laughed, I remembered when we always used to tease our parents as they asked "how was work?". Not knowing why we found it that funny, but we always found that funny. Its like you knew what you job you signed up for, so its like shouldn't it be enjoyable ? But now that I'm older, I swear I completely understand. That question was more as in 'what drama is going on now at work?'. "Its cool." I sighed slightly shrugging. "I work the same floor as this boy in my class and boy is he funny." I laughed thinking about shady ass Avant. "Here we go with these boys again, do I have to lock you down?" Roman asked frowning at me. "Chill out master, he's gay." I put my hands up in surrender. Roman shook his head while finishing up his drink. "What now? You feeling a little dumb, I bet." I smiled and rolled my eyes. And he started laughing. "I'm sorry Kay." He muttered. "Mhm bet you are, but are you ready to go? I could drink this on the way." I said pointing to my full cup. "Yeah we could leave and besides Shante had been texting me all this time." Roman sighed pulling out his phone. So I finished up my fries that I had left and called the waitress over to us. "Yes, do you guys need anything?" She smiled ever so big. "Yes can we get the bill?" Roman smiled at her. So she nodded her head and walked away disappearing into the back. Checking my phone, I sighed. My phone has been dry this whole day. So I placed it back into my bag then grabbed my wallet. "Put that away Kay." Roman said not even looking up at me. "Why? We both ate." I frowned. "You heard what I said Kay." He said making me jerk my head back. "Why can't I help pay?" I raised my eye brow up at him. Even though he wasn't paying me no mind. "Cause I said no, enjoy your check Kay. Let this be my treat, next time I'll let you split the bill with me." He smiled looking up at me. But his yellow ass was lying, he always say that to shut me up. "Fine." I rolled my eyes and closed my wallet then slid it back inside. "Here you guys go." Natalia smiled passing Roman the bill. "Thank you." He smiled while sliding his credit card inside of the booklet. "I feel sorry for my future husband." I shook my head. "Why?" Roman scrunched up his face at me. He made that face like if I just said I got engaged. "Cause thanks to you, Brandon and Mr. Graham; who's the worst out of you three. You guys spoils me way entirely too much." I laughed and he smiled. "That's our job and that's why we're all going to meet your future husband together." He smirked making me shake my head. "I already know how that's going to go." I giggled while Natalia passed us the receipt and my large cup for my drink. We thanked her once more before leaving out the restaurant then got back inside of his car. "What time is Shante coming to your house?" I sighed from being full. "In like a hour or two." Roman shrugged putting on his seatbelt. "Okay, so can you drop me off on the campus?" I asked as my phone buzzed. "Yeah." He nodded his head. I dug my phone out of my bag and slid over 'answer'.

"Hi babyyyy!" I cooed speaking to Jayde.

"Hey sexyyyy! What are you doing?" She cooed with the same energy.

"On my way back to the campus, why what's up?" I asked while Roman began to drive.

"I missed you and wanted to get into something tonight." She sighed.

"I'm down, I'm off tomorrow. Where to though?" I smiled.

"Um it doesn't matter, Clemmy and them can come along as well." She sighed.

"Cool, we can decide when I get there." I suggested.

"Deal see you when you get here boo." She cooed.

"See you." I smiled before we hung up. Yes now I have plans for Friday night. "Who's going to be driving tonight?" Roman asked forever acting like my guardian. "No one, we'll take a cab like usual." I shrugged resting my head against the window. They were going to have to give me a couple of hours though, I've been tired since this morning. So a nap would do justice until tonight.

Getting back to the campus, I hugged Roman before getting out of his car. "Thank you Ro and get home safe. I love you." I said. "I love you more butthead and enjoy yourself tonight." He smiled. "Will do, thank you." I smiled and turned around to walk into the building. Making it upstairs, I put my phone on the charger while Clementine was in the bathroom. So I got undressed and sat on my bed waiting for her. "Oh don't think you slick taking that cute ass picture, who were you with anyways?" Clementine asked while drying her hands as she walked over to the beds. "Roman and what I do?" I giggled. "That was a fly ass outfit Kay, how many compliments did you receive today?" She smirked. "None, Roman said I was trying to be grown." I chuckled while shrugging. But low key I know that means that I'm looking good or he wouldn't complain. His crazy ass even tried to send me back home so I can change. But we both knew I wasn't going to do that. "So you're telling me no one seen this outfit?" Clementine smirked. I shook my head 'no' and she started laughing. "But why Kaylee?! You look so good! I wish you would've saved that for tonight. But you and Ro are so cute, only if he was single." She smirked and took a seat on her bed. "He's not my type Cle and besides that's my best friend." I smirked. But all she did was shrug and keep that smirk on her face. "So what about Dallas, did he see it?" She tilt her head to the side. "I'm just going to ignore you!" I laughed while wrapping my hair up. We all agreed on me getting my sleep before the partying starts. "No, why?" She faked a whine. "Cause you're too much and if I stay up with you, then I'll be staying in tonight." I laughed jumping in my bed then wrapped myself in my blanket. "Fine, have fun sleeping beauty." Clementine teased. I laughed and soon dozed off.

"The cab is here!" Jayde yelled in the hallway. So we made our way outside and Clementine locked the door this time. "Yessss babes!" I cheered seeing us all dolled up and looking good. "Your squad goals!" Paisley twerked making us laugh and rush onto the elevator. "Duh!" We all yelled being that the elevator was closing. "Oh this about to be fun!" I danced in my spot. "Real fun!" Zillah agreed with me. So I blew her a kiss and she winked at me then we started laughing. Walking off of the elevator, all eyes were on us. Not even being planned, we all flipped our hair off of our shoulders and kept on walking. "Where you going?" Legacy smiled at me. "Don't you have a girlfriend?" I smiled, but frowned once he blocked me off. "That was never my girlfriend, she was being spiteful to Yolanda." Legacy smirked. "And you let that go on?" I tilt my head to the side then shook it. This boy was messier than a two year old feeding themselves spaghetti for the first time. "I didn't have a clue until she dubbed me last night." He said. "Okay." I shrugged not really caring. "Okay so you're going to keep me company right?" He licked his lips. "No unless you're coming with us to the lounge." I shrugged. "I'll meet ya there." He said before kissing me and walking away. Was he crazy or what ? Realizing I was just kissed, I rolled my eyes and kept on walking. "Going to put them dirty ass lips on me." I mumbled while plopping down in the backseat. "If you hoes had anything to do with that I'm telling Roman on ya." I rolled my eyes as I closed the door. "No parts!" They all spoke in a unison but started laughing uncontrollably. "Everything is so damn funny." I scoffed. "Girl stop it, you know that kiss got you ready to leave our asses!" Paisley yelled from the front. I sucked my teeth but started laughing. "If he breaks my heart I'll hold ya accountable, ya know that boy ain't shit but steady forcing him onto me." I smiled while rolling my eyes. "Sorry, my best friend needs a good girl. I'm tired of him with these trifling ass hoes." Clementine poked out her bottom lip. "Save it with your cute ass." I snapped raising my hand. She laughed and kissed my cheek. What's with everyone kissing me ?! I frowned but started smirking. These college students indeed still acted as if they were in highschool. But I guess that what makes the school year faster. Look we only got two and a half more weeks before we go on Thanksgiving break. And hopefully that week will go okay because I don't mind kicking ass before going back to school. Oh I'll be definitely getting Clementine's ass back at the club. She likes to play match maker right ? I'll show her who's the real cupid tonight. "Girl you still frowning?" June smiled looking over at me. "No, just plotting." I smiled making them "ohhh". They even had the cab driver "ohhhing". So I had to laugh at that. "Ohhh mister can I turn this up?!" Paisley asked already turning up the radio. Angel of mine by Monica began to play. We all screamed and began to sing along with her. The whole way ride there, the radio station played good throwback songs that had us singing our hearts away. Especially Jayde and I, we were in our feelings at the moment. That damn Legacy and his annoying ass messy ways.
