《Forbidden Love || Anakin x Reader》Chapter 26: Dooku

Geonosis was a planet filled with harsh rocky desert. The land and sky were painted with a deep red/orange color. At some point, a comet had crashed down, forming mountains shaped like rings.
"See those columns of steam straight ahead?" I asked Anakin, pointing at the large amounts of steam from a crater. "They're exhaust vents of some type. Perhaps there is something more within it. Perfect place to land." I say, making Anakin nod in agreement. "That'll do," he said, holding the ship steady enough to land perfectly flat against the rocky surface.
We both quickly got up from our seats, taking our lightsabers and hoods. "look, whatever happens out there, follow my lead. I'm not interested in getting into a war here. Since Padme is a senator and I guess her sister, perhaps I can find a diplomatic solution to this mess." I say firmly, looking directly into Anakin's blue eyes.
He huffed, circling the seat he was sitting on and then casually leaning against it. "Don't worry. I've given up trying to argue with you." he annoyingly said. I rolled my eyes, making him angrier. "Just do as I say," I said back, getting off the ship.
There was a short pathway that led to a metal door. Whoever was behind this wasn't trying to hide anything at all.
I let Anakin lead the way, seeing as though he insisted. The metal door opened widely and freely; I looked over my shoulder to see how shocked he was. Getting in was too easy; usually, by now, we would have to force ourselves inside.
We stood side by side, looking at the long pathway ahead of us. No welcome group?
About halfway through our walk, the sound of chirping came behind us. Anakin halted at once; his hand landed on his lightsaber, tracing it slowly. "Wait," Anakin whispered. Loud squawking emerged from behind, making my whole body tense up at once.

I turned around to find a flock of Geonosian creatures charging towards Anakin and me. I Quickly pulling out my lightsaber, the Geonosians pushed us to the end of the hallway. There was a lot of slashing and cutting and bright lights. Though, once the door had finally opened, we had arrived at a dead end.
On the other side of the door was a large factory. Anakin had stopped enough to be by my side. The door behind us shut in one quick instance, but then suddenly, the floor beneath us began to shrink and close.
There wasn't enough space for both of us, seeing as I wasn't near the door, I fell directly onto the floor. Machines surrounded me all over the place. "Y/n!" I heard Anakin scream from above. "I'm fine!" I yelled back, taking out my saber, preparing for anything. The Geonosians weren't the problem. Instead, it was the heavy machines bound to smash my body together.
I sighed, knowing this would be a bit complicated, but I was confident I would be okay. A large smashing machine came ahead; I sprinted, ducking to get beneath and onto the other side. Behind me were terrifying noises, but it didn't stop there. There were about five more ahead of me, each time having to duck and jump so that I wouldn't be crushed or burned.
There was soon an open walkway. I sighed in relief to finally get a break, but that soon was washed away. A Geonosian flew holding a blaster in one hand; with my saber, I deflected the shots hitting it back on its wings, making it spiral in the air. I thought it would be the end, but instead, it crashed down on the side of my hip, causing me to lose balance.
I fell a couple of feet down before landing on a wide-open area. I grabbed my head that was throbbing from the impact. My eyes became hazy and blurry, but I knew immediately to get back onto my feet.

As soon as I did, a flock of Geonosians landed in a circle surrounding me in every direction. The Geonosians all held a blaster pointing it towards me. I looked down to my belt to find my lightsaber missing, great. I was trapped. I held my arms up in surrender when a blaster hit my body, pushing me towards the ground.

"I got the two Jedis as you asked."
"Great, perhaps an introduction is in play."
The crushing of boots beneath the sand became louder with each second. My eyes were completely shut, the pain in my body making it difficult even to try. Though when I opened my eyes, I found them lying onto Count Dooku's.
He tilted his head, his eyes scanning every inch of my body. He widely grinned before clamping his hands together. My body was floating in a small cell, turning me in circles slowly until he stopped the circulation so I could face him directly.
"You must be the Amidala Jedi," Dooku said, chuckling under his breath. "I got to admit; I think we may have targeted the wrong Amidala. You're far more interesting." Dooku softly said, taking the shields down. He grabbed the side of my cheeks, squishing them harshly between his hands.
"Get your filthy hands off my face," I grunted; my body was frozen, any move I tried to make wasn't possible. Dooku laughed, lifting both his arms in surrender. "How about we talk to Skywalker." He lifted the shield back one. I haven't noticed Anakin was in the same room until now.
He was still unconscious, spinning in the same cell as I was. Dooku pressed a few buttons, making him stop spinning but also lifting the shield rays. "Wakey wakey," Dooku said, grabbing his cheeks the same way he did to mine. Anakin grunted slowly, opening his eyes.
"There we go," Dooku said, smiling widely. Anakin's eyes widened, anger quickly filled his face. "Dooku." Anakin huffed, his eyebrows furrowed. His eyes fell on me; he seemed surprised to see me, but his facial features quickly relaxed, diverting his attention back to Dooku. "Skywalker, you disappoint me. The Jedi hold you as the chosen one, but here you are, easily grabbable." Dooku laughed, walking back and forth.
"You underestimate me, Count." Anakin firmly said. Dooku stopped in his tracks. He pulled out his lightsaber, igniting it. The room was dark, but the shade of red coming from his saber brightened the whole room. "I wish we could have met under different circumstances, y/n," Dooku said, turning his head slowly in my direction. He walked towards me once again, turning off the ray shields.
I looked back and forth between Anakin and Dooku. He held up his saber underneath my chin. "Don't hurt her!" Anakin screamed, only making him come closer. I gulped and closed my eyes, waiting for the burning sensation to form on my neck. "You lay a finger on her; it will be the end for you!" Anakin added.
Dooku laughed once more before the sound of his lightsaber retracted. I opened my eyes, seeing him clap his hands together. "I won't be the one to end you, no," Dooku said calmly. "She will." Dooku then pointed in my direction.

The Ruins of Magincia
They say all things end in time, but the exalted City of Magi would’ve begged to differ. Yet when an attempted coup goes wrong, the city finds itself brought to the very brink of destruction. In the wake of the calamity that left no survivors, the autonomous infrastructure still operating the ruined city seeks to restore what was lost. Luckily for it, the Mana-devoid Universe it awoke in holds an unexpected surprise: a planet full of sentient life forms. All capable—with a little help—to become the next generation of Magi. Back on Earth, Millie McArthur is a pregnant out-of-work mechanic struggling with the prospect of moving back in with her parents after leaving her unfaithful fiancé. That is until she finds herself just one of the hundreds that have been shanghaied by the callous artificial constructs still manning the ruins of Magincia. Now, she must struggle to learn magic, compete for resources, get good 'grades,' and fulfill the seemingly arbitrary requirements for her future job in this broken city. All while keeping herself, and her son, alive. Is the miracle of magic really enough to make up for all the pain? The Ruins of Magincia is a dark fantasy that's heavy on the drama (LitRPG aspects are very light).
