《Solangelo oneshots》Fallen angels and Algebra

It was an angel. A fallen angel. Blonde pure hair framing a face full of peace. The wings acting as cushions for the fallen body. The eyes open. Blue and piercing, pure as the sky. Those eyes could tell stories, detect lies, comfort you, and destroy you. They have the truth in them.

"Mister Di Angelo, what do you have something to say to our new assistant teacher? Since you were clearly paying attention."

You're hot! Okay maybe shouldn't say that out loud.

"Sir, why did you choose to teach Algebra, out of all subjects?" The man smiled slightly, and Mr. Dobbs looked very annoyed. He hated it when people said bad things about Algebra. Like anyone wouldn't.

"Good question, mister....Di Angelo, was it. Mm... The angel. Well, I am going to work in the children's ward in the hospital, and they want me to have experience with all ages, even if that means teens two years younger than me."

"Thank you for your question mister Di Angelo. Mister Solace will be answering your questions about today's subject, and help people who need it. Attention to the board, now."

Throughout the lesson all I could do was stare at the teacher, Solace. He walked around the classroom and answered people's questions.

--------Two years later-----

I was cleaning my apartment, and found a stack of notebooks from my last year of high school. In the back of my Algebra notebook I found a story, one of many I'd written whilst not paying attention. It was an angel. I found a lot like these. All about angels. I worked for a publisher in upper New York. When I showed my boss these stories he asked me to have these published.

I was asked who this was inspired around. At first I couldn't remember, but one day a memory hit me. My inspiration was my assistant teacher Algebra in my last year of high school.

During the next interview, the interviewer asked the question again, and I answered simply with a name: "Will Solace."

The world went crazy. Everyone wanted to know who Will Solace was. I only wanted to know where he was and if he hated me after all these years.

When I did find him, it wasn't what I expected. I sat down in front of Will, and started talking.

"Hey, Will. Maybe you remember me. I was one of your students during my final year at high school. You nicknamed me The Angel. I have written poems and stories about you, and was too afraid to tell you. I love you. I do, always have, since the day you first called me the Angel. I hope you once felt the same."

Will didn't answer. He couldn't. It was a one way conversation. I stood up and walked away. Will was cold. But what I didn't see was the text engraved in the stone:

Here lies William Solace. Loved by many, died for many. all'angelo amo, amato e sempre amerà. continuare ad essere l'angelo delle tenebre. l'amore è infinito, dicono. Spero di incontrarvi nell'aldilà*

----One week later---
